Point b makes absolutely no sense. We all want information, but we've never hacked into Gamefreaks computers or something crazy like that.
To be perfectly honest, if the option were there, people would try. But see my next paragraph:
It's not the community's fault something is leaked by an employee.
They chose to publish the information instead of having a conscience. I'm sure that Gamefreak employees have some sort of NDA thing going on and they know that the information they had was illicitly obtained. If you didn't read my post, I acknowledged it was the employee's choice. However, said sites had no moral conscience about the matter and posted it in their overzealousness. Might as well "hack" the systems because Gamefreak didn't want that stuff going out. This is different than CoroCoro scans being leaked in advance because at least Gamefreak
intends that information to go out in the near future.
Personally, I see no difference between hacking GF's computers and that incident. It was a massive and unwanted information leak in advance of release date.
Leaks happen all the time, in every kind of industry. Gamefreak doesn't like the leaks (remember the Pokebeach leak situation?), but they just have to deal with it and not bitch about it, which they do because they're a company living off the money the community gives them. Also, if a GF employee has a Twitter account, why wouldn't anybody ask the employee some questions? You can always ask questions, it's not like "Tell me everything about the games, or I'll go to your house to kill your family".
No shit, but that's probably why we're not getting info now. They don't care about your or my ideals, they are humans. Also, they
were being harassed on Twitter. Harassment doesn't have to come with threats, especially if it's about stuff that people aren't supposed to know yet. There is a huge difference between innocent questions and bombarding someone with shit for a magazine that wasn't supposed to come out for two weeks. If they acknowledge the leaks, I don't think the CoroCoro publishing company is going to be happy about it, but inaction against rabid fans may elicit a further hostile reaction. If you're still not sympathetic, then I would advise you to check out the Blizzard or Riot forums for further examples of a hostile fanbase. I'm usually the last person to defend a company because I agree that they exist to make profit off of us fans, but holy shit exercise some limits. I wouldn't be surprised if GF and maybe Nintendo were bombarded with shit now with people complaining about how little info they got.

as a fan who loves playing the games. I'm one of those people who fucking hates spoilers. It harms my own personal enjoyment of the games when there are no surprises. And you could say, well just avoid those sites and don't expose yourself to spoilers. It's not so simple since the majority of my friends like Pokemon and go up to me and say "hey, have you seen Mega Gengar?" a week before XY came out. I actually did put several of my friends on my ignore list on Facebook or requested them to hide their posts from me in the week leading up to XY because they were posting that shit left and right. I am happy with whatever piecemeal info GF gives us, but when it goes beyond...
The community should perhaps learn some patience, well at least a part of it, but everyone is hyped for the games and want more information; can you really blame them?
No, I'm fucking not lol. I'm saying that being overzealous is another problem and possibly why Gamefreak is being conservative on the news. I'm not afraid to point us as a possible cause; if anything, take them as a cautionary tale of exercising restraint. Limits, restraints, acting like mature human beings =/= don't be hyped or excited ever. I am hyped and excited myself or else I wouldn't be typing essays in this thread.
