2 questions about Pokerus:

1. Does it affect your Pokemon even after it turns into the happy face?

2. How do you spread it unto other PKMN?

Lets say I am theoretically breeding (I breed for nature but not really IVs...) and I get two Dratinis.

I plan on making a physical Dragonite so speed and attack are the most important stats. The two Dratinis look like this:

Dratini #1
HP 11
Att 5
Def 5
Sp Att 5
Sp Def 6
Speed 5
Characteristic: Likes to thrash about

Dratini #2
HP 12
Att 6
Def 5
Sp Att 6
Sp Def 6
Speed 5
Characteristic: Mischievous

So am I better off with the second Dratini because its stats are higher, even though its characteristic is boosting what will be a useless Special Attack while the first one has lower stats but a Characteristic boosting the useful Attack? Do higher starting egg stats reflect higher IVs?

1. Yes, your EVs still get doubled. You can't spread it after it turns to the happy face, though.

2. Usually getting into battles is the best way to spread it.

Use the second one. The second one's Attack is higher, and its Special Attack isn't useless; Dragonites often run Fire Blast to kill Skarmory and the like. Higher level 1 stats DO reflect higher IVs.

You can't nickname pokemon that you didn't catch/hatch/whatever on your own game. To put it briefly, if you aren't the OT, then you can't nickname it.

Power Items +4, Pokérus x2. So if you were using the HP Power Item, had Pokérus, an defeated one Bidoof, you'd get 10 EVs in HP ((1+4)x2).
