{RMT} Quick Attack on Titan (A Mega Pinsir Team)

Hello everyone I am MudkipX2 and I am not surprised if you don't know who I am since I am one who lurks in the shadows of these forums. Anyway I am bringing you guys a team that I made today and am slowly crawling up the ladder with. Basically I used the Good Cores V2 Thread to get a core because I was out of Ideas, I saw this one and grabbed it and Started building. Big thanks to gleebs for helping ( Gleebs if you rate and I spelt your name wrong let me know).

The Team:

Pinsir-Mega

pinsir-mega.gif

Dafaq is dis (Pinsir) @ Pinsirite
Ability: Hyper Cutter
Happiness: 0
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Frustration
- Quick Attack
- Earthquake

Pretty much the normal Pinsir set what else can I say. I have to say Mega-Pinsir is a boss, Its ability Aerilate turns normal type moves into flying type moves with a extra bonus and with Pinsir's access to Good normal type moves its pretty Awesome.I have Frustration on Pinsir to screw over Ditto if they decide to switch in with 255 Happiness That Mega-Pinsir Impostor can't do much other the quick attack and SD. Earthquake is there for some Excadrill and other common rock types Booty and Swords dance to.... Set up. Quick Attack of course is there for dah priority. WILL ADD MORE LATER

Greninja
greninja.gif

Inner Ninja (Greninja) @ Life Orb
Ability: Protean
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Hasty Nature
- Scald
- Dark Pulse
- Ice Beam
- Hidden Power [Fire]

Mr.Greninja here is what you call a Janitor. He cleans up the mess that Pinsir Makes or can't finish. Since Greninja has protean it just makes his job way easier since he gets Stab with ANY move and gets a life orb boost to buff up his broom ("Attacks" if you don't get it). Scald is the basic thing almost every Greninja has, He gets Stab and a life orb boost with a chance to burn. Dark pulse is to weaken those psychic types that get through the destruction. Ice Beam for those who are 4x weak to it (There are many). HP Fire for coverage over grass types. Pretty Simple. WILL ADD MORE LATER

Talonflame
talonflame.gif

Burd (Talonflame) @ Sharp Beak
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Brave Bird
- Flare Blitz
- U-turn
- Roost

Operation Brave Bird Everything Is A GO! Talonflame loves to Brave Bird with that Gale wings anything is possible. Most of you are probably like "Y DIS NUB RUN BEAK AND NO ORB" well thats becasue at the end of the day I have to many Pokemon with orb and I wanted some variety so I gave it Beak for the flying type boost. Anyway Talonflame leads the way for Pinsir by damaging or killing threats that Pinsir simply can't.Brave Bird and Flare Blitz are they Obivous and U-turn for a successful nice switch into something that Talo cant. Gale Wings Roost FOR THE WIIIIIN. WILL ADD MORE LATER

Clefable
clefable.gif

Notable (Clefable) @ Life Orb
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 232 HP / 252 Def / 24 SAtk
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Stealth Rock
- Flamethrower
- Moonblast
- Soft-Boiled

Now here comes the semi-custom sets. So I originally had Calm Mind on Clefable but when gleebs said I needed something to break Sashes and Multiscale so Pinsir doesn't have to risk breaking those things, So I typed "Clefrocks xD" and then he said "xD That could work" So I replaced calm mind with rocks and lefties with Orb and buffed up his SAtk so it can still it decently hard. Clefable has a ability called Magic Guard which means he doesnt get it from side damage such as Life orb recoil, Weather and Burn/Poison which I find really Awesome because your pretty much getting a free life orb boost. Soft Boiled to heal up when your low and the casual Moonblast for STAB and flamethrower for coverage. WILL ADD MORE LATER

Breloom
breloom.gif

Hitmontree (Breloom) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Technician
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Spore
- Power-Up Punch
- Bullet Seed
- Mach Punch

Now here is another funny set. Power-Up-Punch Breloom which works really well, Pretty much you spore something and instally Power-Up-Punch so you get a attack boost and Tech boost due to it being below 60 damage and can get a good attack boost without wasting a attacking turn. You are probably like "Y NO SD" Well I wanted something different that can still hold its own and Power-Up-Punch ended up being really good, Although you do lose a slot for rock tomb it gives a strong hit to things like Heatran and then a boost and then clean up. Spore to Make things go to sleep to make way for a PUP( Power Up Punch). Bullet Seed for anything else really, Tech Boost with 1.5x is a pretty scary Bullet Seed. And Mach Punch to hit things that are faster then me. WILL ADD MORE LATER

Excadrill
excadrill.gif

Mole Suit (Excadrill) @ Air Balloon
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Iron Head
- Rock Slide
- Rapid Spin

Excadrill is the thing that clears hazards so Pinsir can come in once he is Mega. What else can I say other than I see why this thing was Ubers, It is really strong no matter what set you use and can clear the way for pretty much anything with Spikes and Rocks getting more popular this gen its nice to Have one of these guys on your team.Iron Head is for those fairy Types that come in like they are the boss of the world, Rock slide is for flying types what else does it do xD. Rapid Spin all those Rocks Away and Earthquake all those fighting and rock types. WILL ADD MORE LATER

Possible Changes:

Greninja ----> Rotom-Wash

Clefable ----> Heatran

Talonflame Beak ---> Talonflame Orb (Only if I switch out Gren)

Replays:

None yet but feel free to post one down in the comments.

Threats:

Gengar

MegaZard Y

Actually, U need better spinner, Instead of balloon exca, use scarf man, to spin on fast users like thundy, lando, and it hits spinblocker gengar with scarf eq. Also, to wall significant portions of the meta, use max hp max spdef, bulkup talonflame dude, with roost, taunt, to setup on heatran, ferrothorn, etc. Another thing, use swords dance on breloom, its waay better than pup. That team is notbad, got potential, 6/10 for now :D. ~CalmStone~

Well, just a start:

Greninja has all spec attacks so why reduce the defense if you can just take off from attack? So that being said, I'd change Hasty to Timid. Only have Hasty if you switch a move to U-Turn.

For Talonflame, I'd suggest Choice Band over Beak because it gives extra power to all your moves, rather than just your flying type.

252+ Atk Choice Band Talonflame Brave Bird vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Chansey: 312-367 (44.3 - 52.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock

252+ Atk Sharp Beak Talonflame Brave Bird vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Chansey: 250-295 (35.5 - 41.9%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Stealth Rock

You can see the noticable difference.

And for Clefable, I know you probably won't want to, but you could consider Chansey.

Here's what I'd suggest because it'd work well with what your looking for. Only downside is that it can't hit Ghosts.

Chansey @ Eviolite
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Stealth Rock
- Thunder Wave
- Seismic Toss
- Soft-Boiled

You might also want to consider ScarfDrill, but that's your choice.

As for your threat list:
-Dark Pulse from Greninja handles Gengar just fine, tbh.
-Excadrill and Pinsir can EQ the thing to death, and Exca should be fine because I rarely see Sacred Sword variants anymore but then again, I could be delusional.
-If you add Chansey on the team, it can handle Zard-Y fine.

252+ SpA Charizard Focus Blast vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Eviolite Chansey: 162-192 (23 - 27.2%) -- guaranteed 4HKO after Stealth Rock

And that's a MODEST Zard. Most Zard Y's are Timid, so here's the calcs for that.

252 SpA Charizard Focus Blast vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Eviolite Chansey: 148-176 (21 - 25%) -- 97.6% chance to 4HKO after Stealth Rock

252 SpA Charizard Focus Blast vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Eviolite Chansey: 148-176 (21 - 25%) -- 0% chance to 4HKO

And this is for Fire Blast under Sun from Timid Zard, no rocka.

252 SpA Charizard Fire Blast vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Eviolite Chansey in Sun: 153-181 (21.7 - 25.7%) -- 1.5% chance to 4HKO

252+ SpA Charizard Fire Blast vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Eviolite Chansey in Sun: 168-198 (23.8 - 28.1%) -- guaranteed 4HKO after Stealth Rock

And that's for MODEST IN SUN.

Chansey laughs in Zard Y's face.

You can handle Azumarill with Breloom if you manage to keep it alive with Sash intact. If not, you're gonna have to change stuff around.

-T-Tar could be taken on by Excadrill's Iron Head.

252+ Atk Mold Breaker Excadrill Iron Head vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Tyranitar: 272-324 (67.3 - 80.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock

You can get lucky with the Iron Head flinch hax and 2HKO it, no problem.

252+ Atk Mold Breaker Excadrill Iron Head vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Mega Tyranitar: 210-248 (51.9 - 61.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock

2HKO for mega T-Tar also.

Hope I helped and gl

Your team's most noticeable weakness is CB Jolly Talonflame. It easily OHKOes Mega Pinsir, Greninja, Talonflame, and Breloom once the sash is broken. Excadrill can't switch in to it, both in fear of a Flare Blitz which will easily obliterate it and with Brave Bird being a guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rocks. Finally, Clefable cannot touch it, because Talonflame resists all of its moves. Therefore, I would definitely recommend either making Exca scarfed so it can reliably revenge kill Talon and/or giving Breloom Rock Tomb so it can OHKO with an intact sash. Heatran would be a decent replacement for Clefable as a reliable SR setter and a hard counter to Talon. Setting Stealth Rocks would also keep the Zards at bay, as they would later be OHKOed by Talon (which I recommend being Banded, since Sharp Beak doesn't give it enough power while LO wears it down way too quickly).
Also, take those 4HP Evs off Talon's HP and put them on Def or SpD, because then it will be able to switch into SR twice without dying instead of just once. I would also make it Jolly, because even though you lose some power, you can reliably kill threats such as Thundurus with Flare Blitz and random priority Greninja with Brave Bird.
Making Pinsir's ability Moxie can help you revenge kill very weak pokemon and get a free +1 boost, so it is the most recommended option.
Greninja is missing some significanr power with Scald, so I would recommend Hydro Pump.
Making sure to keep Breloom alive for most of the match will be important, as it is your most reliable way to beat Azu and T-Tar. You also seem to have problems against stall except for Clefable (which can't really do much against powerful walls), so Specs users like Keldeo could be used over Greninja or others. Making sure to get rid of opposing Unaware Quagsire and Clefabe is important to ensure a Mega Pinsir sweep, so use Breloom and Exca with caution against stall teams with this popular core.
I hope I have helped <3
Overall, your team is OK, but it needs polishing up to beat top-tier threats and playstyles.
EDIT: P.S. Don't even bother fighting Baton Pass. You will lose (unless you make Clefable Unaware). It will be nerfed soon enough, though, so do what you want.

Thanks for the replies I'll try to do my best evening these out between the 3 of you, Once again Thanks :D

One more thing, I would suggest using Feint. It's EXTREMELY underrated. It has a +2 priority, so it can outspeed any Talonflame Brave Bird, Quick Attack from opposing Pinsir, and basically anything with a +1 priority. Only E-Speed can match it in speed and priority. It also hits through protect, detect and kings shield without suffering from the attack drop shield would give you too. Only downside is that it's 30 opposed to 40 from Quick Attack, but in the long run, it's worth it.
