Endure + Salac Berry + Reversal combo... combined with STAB and Pure Power...
Medicham isn't that bulky imo, you don't need to go 0/0/0 HP/Def/SpDef to get rekt. Also Endure works every turn, so even if one hit doesn't get you to 1 hp the next one will
EDIT: Endure works like protect/detect etc. I still think it's silly to go for 0 IVs
Actually, I'm pretty sure endure doesn't work every turn. I believe it has the same properties of protect (except, the being protected part lol).
Edit: yeah, just looked it up. Every time you use it, the chance of succeeding decreases 50% after the first one.
still, i want to ensure Medicham to have 1 HP and i think Endure's chance of failing is increased whenever you use it...
Considering how easily that strategy is ruined, I wouldn't bother.

I'm in the process of beginning to SR for Yveltal, and I finally got my hands on a Timid synchronizer. Is Timid an optimal nature for Yveltal, or should I get Mild/Rash/Naive instead? I already have a darn near perfect Hasty one from Trevenant forest (who is awesome, by the way). Ideas/opinions welcome.

Yveltal is pretty flexible, you can run quite a few sets with it with all sorts of natures. You could check its Ubers analysis to see what good stuff there is. Really most +Speed or +SpAtk natures work for him depending on what you want
