How bout levitate skuntankBut for real tho we should focus on making skuntank an offensive defogger
Purugly should be ugly
Bronzong should go in a hole and die
Spiritomb should have prankster
A cool niche for Skuntank would be an offensive defogger (as you said), but with a moveset designed specifically to decimate common Defiant and Competitive users

Heal Bell and Recover Bronzong with Ghost / Steel. Will make Bronzong a defensive Aegislash and makes up for the fact that Gamefreak hates Bronzong. I mean they gave Bronzong 2 new weaknesses in generation 6 so an improved typing just to help him be OU viable again.

Spiritomb is awesome so his mega evolution should be awesome. Even with the new Fairy type weakness his typing us still solid so don't change that. Maybe give him higher defenses and offenses and some new moves like Recover and Power Gem ( You can get him by using the Odd Keystone that's why Rock moves can make sense ). As for ability Wonder Guard Cursed Body, Illusion or keeping it original abilities could be cool.

Skuntank could get a boost to it's offenses mainly to give it a niche as offensive Pursuit trapper or Defog user. It's typing is fitting and good so don't change it I would say. As for ability maybe something to boosts it offenses like Moxie, Infiltrator, Defiant or Sheer Force.

Purugly I have literally no idea.

Purugly could get Glare (pokedex: It binds its body with its tails to make itself look bigger. If it locks eyes, it will glare ceaselessly) and make the most of its deceptive speed (how is that thing faster than Lati@s?) to annoy.

Stats: 80/100/80/80/80/100 ---> 80/130/90/100/90/130 BST 620
Ability: Levitate ---> Guard Lens (Magic Guard Clone)
Movepool: +Dragon Dance +Quiver Dance +X-Scissor

I think we should give Bronzong Drizzle, (This makes sense if you read dex entries) and he'll probs need some other moves so that he can abuse the rain i.e. Thunder.
I think that we should maybe keep Defiant on Purugly and try to make it a better abuser of the ability.

and OMFG SKUNTANK FINALLY!!! I'll be giving Skuntank Unaware, because he is 'unaware' of his
stench. Oblivious is probs better flavor but when I post my submission you will see the competitive value of Unaware on Skuntank.
Fack u for stealin my ideas

But yes Drizzle on Bronzong is literally perfect, it's the "bringer of rain" on the dex descriptions, and that way you no longer need Heatproof, either. A rain team without Politoed? Fuck yes

No no no, please read the OP. We've got a system in place, and Flygon isn't on the current slate.

No slow start. For one, it's literally the worst ability in the game. Two, it's Regigigas' signature ability. Don't freely dish out signature abilities.

So it's literally the second worse ability in the game? What a difference.

Slow Start isn't necessarily bad, it's just it's terrible on Regigias, if it was on something like Reniculus it wouldn't be harmful at all, maybe even a tiny bit beneficial

I totally think we ought to give an auto-Taunt ability to a Mega. Not sure if Spiritomb would be a good candidate, though.

EDIT-- In fact, MAYBE it is. A Garchomp-esque pokémon (high speed and offenses, decent bulk, setup move) with this ability would be too strong, as it would disrupt stall beautifully AND stop other setup sweepers. On the other hand, a defensive pokémon would be interesting as it would be a nice addition to stall stopping the same targets, but contributing to a more decent paced game (against stall) or slowing down the game for its team (vs. setup offense).

But maybe it would make the metagame too stall-oriented. Hm.

Maybe a more Flygon-esque (no setup move, kinda decent bulk, passable offenses) pokémon, then. More of a pivot than anything else.

It's a neat idea. If we go this route, we could make an ability for future use similar to defiant -- if the user is taunted, its attack goes up two stages. Just an idea.

We don't do submissions anymore.

Mega Spiritomb should be given Analytic. Given that it'll be outsped by other Pokemon over base 35 Speed, Spiritomb should try to hit back harder with the 30% boost to all its attacks. More bulk should be needed so that it isn't dead weight.

Could you explain, in some detail, with ANY regard to flavor, WHY Spiritomb should be given Analytic?

There are no Pokemon that can make competitive use of analytic: Starmie is too fast, Magnezone cannot give up Magnet Pull to trap Steels, and Porygon line cannot give up Trace or Adaptibility. There should be at least some Pokemon that can make use of Analytic, and Mega Spiritomb can effectively do so with very low base 35 Speed.

With Dark/Ghost typing and defenses, it can very well take a beating and fight back using Analytic boosted Shadow Ball or Dark Pulse with the exception of powerful fairy attackers such as Mega Gardevoir.

You didn't answer his question. He asked for flavor. We all know that slow pokemon use analytic good.

We got Analytic Mega Slowking already, in addition to Analytic Mega Hitmonchan and Analytic Mega Dodrio.

Do you know what 'flavor' means in this context
