Thanks for the tip. Think I'll go with HP Fire, since SR offsets the need for HP Rock, or dealing with those Pokemon will prove a little easier.
In the transition to Gen 6, does the HP type change, or just the BP (since I read it's always a flat 60 now). Like, if I tell the game to find a HP Fire Virizion in Gen 5, would the HP still be Fire when I bank it up?

Can anyone who's done banking confirm something for me?
HP type won't change on banking, just the BP (since it was given a flat power in Gen 6)? I wanna be sure on the Virizion I'm RNG'ing before I transfer it up and find out its HP Fire changed to HP Grass.

HP Type won't change on banking, the only thing that changed from Gen 5 --> Gen 6 was that its base power was set to 60. (Didn't Luxpluff91 already answer you though?)
Thanks for the tip, now I just need to find a Shiny HP Fire seed.
On another minor note, anyone have suggestions for Tutor moves on the Swords of Justice?
I tranferred my 31/30/30/31/31/31 virizion from 5th gen. Still hp ice.
Virizion: Depends on what build. You sound like you're doing special (mixed?) so just Synthesis would be fine.
Stealth Rock and Iron Head for Terrakion. I'm not a fan of loading unnecessary tutors but that's just me.
Planning to make it a CM set with HP Fire, so Synthesis can go on (even if those I trade with never use it).
SR and Iron Head definitely for Terrakion.
Anything besides SR on Cobalion?
