So I restarted my HG game a while ago, I was wondering. What matching ball goes along with:

Sweet, is she in a Normal Pokeball? What Spitback do you want? Also what's your FC? A male one is not ideal, but "ok," just as long as it's in a normal pokeball.
Besides having the latest RNG Reporter in your PC (Or if you have a Mac, PPRG), you don't need anything else and you'll be all set up to learn to RNG abuse.Okay, a semi-quick question:
If I want to get into RNG for Pokemon SoulSilver, what do I need? I have a DS Lite and the actual game, is there anything else besides software on a computer? Is a retail cartridge (which I have) better or worse than a flash cart rom?
This is true for gen4/5. In gen5, you needed the event OT and set language. People would ID abuse for an event ID/SID combination. RNGing hasn't been cracked in gen6 to my knowledge.I heard that if you RNG, you can somehow get the ID & secret ID of another character so you can change or remove nicknames. Is this true? If so, does it work on event Pokémon like Surfing Pikachu?

Thanks! RNG has always looked extremely confusing so it should be interesting to learn. :)Besides having the latest RNG Reporter in your PC (Or if you have a Mac, PPRG), you don't need anything else and you'll be all set up to learn to RNG abuse.
As for the comparison between retail and a flashcart Rom, the former is obviously 9000 times better, since the flashcart Rom tends to be incredibly erratic with the Delays.
If possible I would suggest starting with gen 5 though, specifically BW 1, since it's the easiest to learn and for the most part you don't have to worry about hitting delays. Thanks! RNG has always looked extremely confusing so it should be interesting to learn. :)
Don't worry, RNG abuse is easier to learn that it seems to be (4th Gen abuse is kinda annoying though.). If you need help to learn to abuse, feel free to PM me.Thanks! RNG has always looked extremely confusing so it should be interesting to learn. :)
I've only done Gen 5 RNG abuse so far (and still not all forms), but trust me, it's the kind of thing that starts out seeming like it'll take forever, but eventually just becomes second nature. My main point is, stick with it for a while, your first successful one is always the hardest to get. Thanks! RNG has always looked extremely confusing so it should be interesting to learn. :)
welp. got to get access to another ds then lol, thanksUse two DSs (doesn't matter what kind) to transfer from SS to BW2 at the Transfer Lab, then use your 3DS (XL or normal) + PokeTransfer to get them into bank.
Well, I need 6 IVs, but 5ivs in any stat would be ok. I do have a timid Gastly with 4-5 ivs. Are they in regular pokeballs? Relaxed Nature is ideal.Well just looked over and I have 4 Male Larvitars >.>
No problems because I can easily breed one. Tell me what IVs you want and what nature. And ehrm... I would like the Timid Gastly :)

Guys, I think I found a Poke Ball Vivillon that I am going to keep... What are your opinions? Keep or Toss?

I know the SpA isn't flawless, but I think the stats are too good to pass up, especially with the speed boosting nature.

Awesome! I'd say Gen 5 should be your main source if you ever try anything besides Gen 4 exclusive legends. There's all this time delay stuff I couldn't understand in one read for Gen 4, and most people say Gen 5 is the easiest to learn, which makes breeding in it the optimal way to get "regular" mons.
I think this might have value so I think you should keep. If you thing you can get better though then toss.Guys, I think I found a Poke Ball Vivillon that I am going to keep... What are your opinions? Keep or Toss?

I probably should start out doing it on BW but the legends from SS are the main reason I want to do it! haha
