lol Pokéguy for having a bagon with the same TSV as me on the same day...

for real tho 2 SV hatches on the same day. I'll be mad though if MegaMence turns out to be some colour that's as far away from green as possible...

I'll trade it to you... the day I have Pokebank. lol srry couldn't resist posting this. :p

Guys, I think I found a Poke Ball Vivillon that I am going to keep... What are your opinions? Keep or Toss?

Naive, 31/27/30/26/28/31

I know the SpA isn't flawless, but I think the stats are too good to pass up, especially with the speed boosting nature.

That's a keeper. Not perfect but I can see it being acceptable to stop there. Hidden power poison is meh though.

I imagine that's a very long way off, haha. Still need to actually start a new game and play through it! :D

edit:

Okay, here's a question for those that RNG... in order of easiest to hardest, what would you rate each set of games (HGSS, B2W2, etc) in terms of RNG difficulty?

I've heard talk that Gen 5 is easier than Gen 4. BW are easier to do breeding and some wilds because some areas have less/no WNPCs (like some Chargestone Cave floors). Since you can breed virtually anything, I recommend just getting parents onto BW and using B2W2 for tutors.

Hope you kept that. + Speed Nature and 31 Speed IV are all you need. Focus Sash is the only item I'd use on Vivilion.

Lol that was you? Mine is 31/31/31/31/31/31 Male, with the same egg moves and I got mine hatched at Tower Of Mastery. I totally requested before the trade because you had requested it. What fun.

Anyways, my simple question, is does anyone have a Moxie Dusk Ball Jolly Salamence Female or Calm HA Female Luxury Ball Sableye they would trade me for my next project? A friend safari will also work. PM me.

Anyone have a Shadow Tag Gothita/Gothorita/Gothitelle or Analytic Magnemite/Magneton/Magnezone Spitback? Natures/IVs aren't important as they are intended for breeding projects.

I'll not be online for a while but I can trade later today.

This would be easier if I could add myself as a friend D:

BW, then HG/SS/D/P/Pt, then B2W2.

EDIT: Are pokemon obtained from downloaded wonder cards considered legit, not just legal? This website http://projectpokemon.org/events/ has all known events and their wonder cards...

Oh, wow. Is B2W2 really that bad? What makes it the worst for RNG?
A lot more areas are packed with WNPCs, and breeding is just more of a hassle at a glance. Maybe there's other stuff about delays or greater Timer0 range that I wouldn't know how to explain.

Oh, wow. Is B2W2 really that bad? What makes it the worst for RNG?

Coming from someone who learned to RNG on B2: nothing.

The only 'annoying' thing is the various Timer0s- which means that you may need to hit your seed up to 4 times before getting the pokemon that you want.

The calibration process for B2 is actually much faster and less annoying than the 'catch random pokemon' method you are forced to use in B/W

(And I hate pre 6th gen breeding because the pokemon are forced into an ugly pokeball, so the fact that it's much harder to breed on BW2 didn't bother me)

Oh, wow. Is B2W2 really that bad? What makes it the worst for RNG?

It's really only bad in the sense that you'll most likely have a TON of Timer0 values that you can hit. This means that you'll easily be resetting 20+ times until you hit the right one. In BW, you only have 2 or 3 Timer0 values you'll hit, so you can hit your values much faster. Other than that, BW and B2W2 RNGing are pretty much the same.

Downloaded wondercards are not considered legitimate. Legitimate (in this case) means that you attended the event, received the wondercard normally and used no external device when receiving.

However (assuming that the wondercard is accurate [which I believe those on Projectpokemon are]) they are legal (as long as they are disclosed as such when advertising).

Any suggestions on how to catch Pinsir in the Safari Zone (Emerald)? It keeps fleeing lol.
I believe this was tested on an emulator (a long time ago, whilst preparing for a speed run); and it was decided that the best strategy was just to throw balls continuously.

Also as everyone knows holding Down and B just as the ball closes makes it act as a Master Ball.

Quite possible I'm mis-remembering/just plain wrong though.

I'm playing on a retail cart though, so I'm assuming I'm just going to have to rely on luck? Using sweet scent has helped it appear more though.
The advice still holds; emulators act the same way as retail cartridges (hopefully), they just allow testing to be done faster (increased speed and utilising save states so you don't have to wait another 30 minutes until the Pokémon shows up again).

I believe there are people who have already caught and transferred female Safari Ball Pinsirs though (although I completely understand if you'd prefer to obtain one yourself), so if it's getting too frustrating simply asking for a spitback female in this thread may net you results quite quickly.

This is the best explanation I could find. Basically, if you have more than 3 balls, then throw a bait and then start throwing balls at it.
Unrelated, but useful, if you're in the safari zone, if you spin in circles, your step counter doesn't go up but you still have a chance of finding a pokemon, so there's that.

Also, I'm looking for a 5 IV timid ralts with Hyper Voice. Let me know if you have one and we can work something out.
