Well, run whatever you want but the only relevant mon I can think of(barring scarfers) that's faster than Greninja is Mega Sceptile, which requires more than 176 to outspeed and isn't very common.
That being said, I gave incorrect EVs in my previous post. Mega Swampert only needs 52 in Speed to outspeed 252+ Greninja in the rain.

I think you people are doing some confusion. Mega sceptile is very common and threatening, But mega swampert only needs 152 speed evs to reach 214 which under rain becomes 428, one point higher than m-sceptile. Of course you prolly wanna run more speed to outspeed things without rain (176 let's you outspeed lando-t)

Thanks to Rob. 176 speed evs with a plus nature allows you to outspeed 44 speed ev rotom-w outside of rain.

Yes rotom-W with 44 Evs and lando-t have the same speed, but lando-t is more important because even if you outspeed rotom you can't do much to it
 
Why does Swampert care about outspeeding Rotom?
Neither of them can really do anything to each other, unless Rotom is running HP grass.
Beating Lando T is important tho, getting in that Ice Punch is what it's all about.

Because burns make life terrible for Mega Swampert, especially given his time limit on his speed.
