XY LC LC Un-strategized Team

So, I took what I know about Showdown, and tried to apply it to an LC team. Let's just say, I feel like the one I pieced together isn't too great.

Croagunk @ Life Orb
Ability: Anticipation
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Poison Jab
- Drain Punch
- Fake Out
- Earthquake

When I started making this team, I figured I would need something strong that can lay out some great damage, so I started looking at some Fighting types. I figured Mienfoo is used a lot in LC based off of the teams I've seen, so I kept looking. There were some promising ones, like Machop and Mankey (both of which I have minor experience with), but I ultimately decided on a Croagunk. I threw him together, slapped some EVs onto the stats I wanted it to excel in, and moved on.

Chinchou @ Berry Juice
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 76 HP / 212 Def / 152 SpA / 60 Spe
Bold Nature
- Scald
- Volt Switch
- Heal Bell
- HP [Ground]

This one was introduced to me by HollowRidley on my first RMT, and I use this Chinchou (the "Offensive Berry Juice Set") on my Sand LC team along with this one. This is a very good Pokemon who is useful for switching out and getting a Heal Bell off if my opponent tries to status-stall, and a good moveset that covers some of my team's weaknesses.

Espurr @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 Spe
Modest Nature
- Psyshock
- Dark Pulse
- Calm Mind
- Disarming Voice

Since I feel like Espurr is a pretty dominant Pokemon (at least it used to be for me), I slapped one into my party. I put the Scarf on it because I couldn't think of anything else that would benefit me attacking specially, but since I'm running CM on it, I could use some suggestions for a new item on it. I have 252 HP EVs on it so that if, during a battle where the opponent is setting up Shell Smashes or something, I can just get Espurr's SpA and SpD to skyrocket. Oh, and I have Infiltrator because it is really useful and everyone forgets about it.

Chespin @ Berry Juice
Ability: Bulletproof
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Seed Bomb
- Poison Jab
- Brick Break
- Belly Drum

So, just a heads up if you haven't figured out already, I like running 252 Atk and Adamant Nature. It's 2stronk. So, I just tossed this Chespin in to try and eliminate Chinchou and Croagunk's common weakness to ground in a way that wouldn't be risking Chinchou by just scalding for my life. This Chespin isn't great, so a replacement for it would be fine.

Carvahna @ Life Orb
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Waterfall
- Zen Headbutt
- Crunch
- Ice Fang

This Carvahna is all out offensive, so I figured 252 Atk is a must. Anyways, Carvahnas with this set are usually bulky to gain momentum (or just downright disrespectful and strong) (or both) with Speed Boost and just start firing away with Waterfall. It's a very strong one, and the only thing I would see be needed to change with it is the EVs. I suck at EVs.

Buneary @ Life Orb
Ability: Limber
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature (again)
- Fake Out
- Drain Punch
- Headbutt
- Ice Punch

The final decision came down to Aipom and Buneary, and since I run Aipom on my Sand Team I figured I would give Buneary a try. Then again, if Aipom would be a better choice, then by all means I would replace Buneary. Again, not much I see wrong with this one other than the EVs.

So, if you guys have any suggestions that would make this team better, I'm all in for it, because I'm not exactly the master of teambuilding.

Just saying, I think you are only allowed to post one RMT every 2 weeks or something, so I would just be careful. I may edit in a thought or 2 later if the thread doesn't get locked.

EDIT: Not exactly going to rate the team, but instead say some general things. It seems that you have a lot of 252, 252, 4 EV spreads, which may work for all the other tiers, but since all LC pokemon are level 5, rolls are different, and you don't need 252 points to max out a stat. A decent place for you to find EV spreads would be the strategy pokedex: http://www.smogon.com/dex/xy/pokemon/.
However, the sets aren't always the best on the strategy pokedex, so take them with like...3 grains of salt. The popular, better pokemon do have accurate sets though ( like Chinchou and Fletchling).

Hey TheAmazingFacedesk that's a pretty cool team there. However a rather notable flaw can be found in your EV spreads. LC is not like other tiers where 252/252/4 spreads are usually pretty good; here that wastes EVs.
Base stat ending / EVs required for stat gain
xx0 / 36 /116 / 196 EVs
xx1 / 28 / 108 / 188 EVs
xx2 / 20 / 100 / 180 EVs
xx3 / 12 / 92 / 172 / 252 EVs
xx4 / 4 / 84 / 164 / 244 EVs
xx5 / 76 / 156 / 236 EVs
xx6 / 68 / 148 / 228 EVs
xx7 / 60 / 140 / 220 EVs
xx8 / 52 / 132 / 212 EVs
xx9 / 44 / 124 / 204 EVs
You can refer to that for help.

Now onto the mons, you have an Espurr, which while being really cool, is rather subpar in practice. I see you have CM on a choice scarf set and I can see how that may be cool, but I would not recommend either. Personally, I believe Espurr should be subbed out to become Ponyta as you are not in dire need for a scarf pokemon with Carvanha in the wings. Ponyta would grant you a second fighter and Pawn check as well as some moderate offensive and has a high enough speed to revenge kill quite a number of things if need be anyway. Plus FGW cores are cool.

Next, Change Chespin to a Spike set. This set allows it to make optimal use of its walling capacity while supporting the team. Frankly, Chespin is far to slow to pull of a decent Belly Drum set should have that left to Zigzagoon, Magby, and the like. Spikes help your wincon Carvanha sweep more easily as well as just wear down opposing grounded mons as the switch about.

Lastly if I may suggest, make Carvanha's HP IV 0 as this will allow it to live longer. This may seem counter productive but this allows it to take only 1 HP in damage from LO recoil as opposed to 2. Cheers.

Ponyta @ Eviolite
Ability: Flame Body
Level: 5
EVs: 236 Def / 76 SpD / 196 Spe
Impish Nature
- Morning Sun
- Will-O-Wisp
- Flare Blitz
- Wild Charge
Chespin @ Eviolite
Ability: Bulletproof
Level: 5
EVs: 68 HP / 28 Atk / 156 Def / 236 SpD
Impish Nature
- Spikes
- Synthesis
- Seed Bomb
- Drain Punch / Rock Tomb
EDIT: Forgot to mention you would enjoy Protect on Carvanha over Ice Fang.

Hey TheAmazingFacedesk, this is a really cool team, and if you fix the EVs and apply Fiend Hound's suggestions, it'll be even better.

First off, Croagunk's EVs should be 132 HP / 28 Atk / 116 Def / 108 SpA / 116 SpD with a Quiet Nature and with a moveset of Sludge Bomb / Vacuum Wave / Knock Off / Drain Punch. Plus, use Eviolite over Life Orb. The EV spread will let Croagunk have Eviolite numbers and be a better Mienfoo and Timburr counter. Sludge Bomb is a great special STAB that has a good chance to poison, which can help hinder your opponent. Vacuum Wave is for STAB priority and lets you OHKO Pawniard, letting you win 1v1 against it and you don't have to risk Iron Head flinching. Knock Off is for knocking off common Eviolites, Berry Juices, and Life Orbs to help Croagunk get more recovery from Drain Punch or do more damage with its other STABs. For its ability, Dry Skin over Anticipation because of how you can switch in on water types such as Staryu and Chinchou and not risk Scald burns.

Croagunk @ Eviolite
Level: 5
Ability: Dry Skin
EVs: 132 HP / 28 Atk / 116 Def / 108 SpA / 116 SpD
Quiet Nature
- Drain Punch
- Sludge Bomb
- Vacuum Wave
- Knock Off

Next, I would like to suggest Drilbur over Buneary. This may seem like an odd choice, but most of your team has good synergy with Drilbur. The combination of Drilbur's Stealth Rocks and Chespin's Spikes will definitely hinder your opponent and will make your Carvanha have a better chance to sweep. Drilbur can also Rapid Spin pesky hazards away that can interfere with your Carvanha and Ponyta. Your water and grass weakness gets covered by Croagunk and since your team is weak to Croagunk once Ponyta faints, Drilbur can check/counter it and OHKO it with a STAB Earthquake.

Drilbur @ Eviolite
Ability: Mold Breaker
Level: 5
EVs: 76 Atk / 116 Def / 76 SpD / 212 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Rapid Spin
- Stealth Rock

Edit: Oh yeah, here's the Carvanha set that Fiend Hound didn't make an import to. The EV spread is now changed to 196 Atk / 36 Def / 36 SpD / 236 Spe with an Adamant Nature and the 0 HP IVs he mentioned for taking less Life Orb damage. The little extra bulk in each defense is helpful while you still have a lot of attack power.

Carvanha @ Life Orb
Level: 5
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 196 Atk / 36 Def / 36 SpD / 236 Spe
Adamant Nature
IVs: 0 HP
- Waterfall
- Crunch
- Zen Headbutt
- Protect

That's all I have for now. Great team! Good luck in your future battles!
