You can use vitamins or super training to give it EVs (which can then be removed with a reset bag) to test out the IV too.

Just give it EVs in Super Training, then reset them later if you keep. And also see what Hidden Power it has.
That's worthy of being kept. Personally I would keep going but I'm a psycho. When it comes to resets, I gauge the amount of time (days, weeks, months) I'm willing to spend on a pokemon by how much I like it.
You should keep that regardless.

Naive lets you run HP Ice, but its probably not really going to do much damage coming off a 72 base SpA.
Edit: Plus, with the plethora of special attackers in OU, sacrificing SpD is probably not the best idea.
I should just keep it but I'm a bit ocd about any IV less then 30 on a stat that matters. HP Grass doesn't really help Heatran either. Not sure if I'll keep it or not.

HP grass vs water and ground threats seems useful to me but I'm an ou noob lol
Hp Grass is good in place of HP Ice if you have an ice type or something on your team.
Same here, the mentality of being a perfectionist given how several people already got 5-6IV legendaries through softresetting would suffice as an excuse for me. HP Grass is helpful against pokemon like swampert, although it's been long since I've played competitive battles that I no longer know which pokemon are more common threats than others.

Yes it is in my opinion, but if I were you I'd keep that and bank it and reset for a shiny on a new game.
I think I can breed one but it will take a while.
