I know it's also based on the team, but in general, which Greninja set nets the most coverage and struggles against the least amount of pokemon?
In the current meta, Ice Beam / Gunk Shot / Dark Pulse / Low Kick provides the best coverage. Hydro pump is not really needed anymore, as most targets for that are hit hard by low kick.

Is Soul Dew banned in OU? I checked the tier lists and did not see it as a banned item in OU. Has it simply not been added to the page yet or is it now usable in OU?
Yea, it's banned.

Thanks!

And the ev spread should be 40 Atk/216 SAtk/252 Spe, right?

Yes this is usually the most optimal spread with a Naive nature.

I actually think it does. I just did this battle with myself, and both Gastrodons, one with Sticky Hold and one with Storm Drain, took about the same amount of damage from Knock Off.
Wow, that's pretty odd. In Little Cup, Trubbish and Shellos are both used because of their ability to absorb Knock Off (because of the reduced damage taken). I guess this was a placebo affect that most just didn't notice? I mean that train of thought does make sense, since nothing is getting knocked off (like when a mon is behind a sub or holding a mega stone). Anyways, thanks for the useful info!

I think the school of thought behind using Sticky Hold in Little Cup is you don't lose the ever powerful Eviolite. Especially because that allows Trubbish to check multiple Fighting types easier. It also allows Sticky Hold users to switch into multiple Knock Offs freely, potentially preserving teammates items as well.

Knock Off does extra damage if it has a removable item, not if the item is actually removed. So Sticky Hold Pokémon get hit with the 1.5x boost every time but never lose the item. (source: Bulbapedia)

Anyway..

I'm thinking about this set:

Gallade (M) @ Galladite
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 56 SpD / 196 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Drain Punch
- Zen Headbutt / Ice Punch
- Knock Off
- Bulk Up

The Speed EVs allow it to outspeed Jolly Garchomp after mega evolving, and the rest is thrown in HP and special bulk. Instead of a Close Combat sweeper, it's a bulky setup mon with wide coverage (No type combination resists all 3 moves). Drain Punch is for STAB and recovery, Zen Headbutt is the other stab to nail Poison types who resist Drain Punch, and gets good damage on flying types and especially fighting types, and Knock Off is for Ghost types and for utility in general. Ice Punch is slashed in case Poison and Fight types are not a problem for the team. It prevents walling by Landorus-T and Gliscor, and dispatches dragons quickly.

With full HP, Mega Gallade can take a Brave Bird from Life Orb Adamant Talonflame with one Bulk Up and 100% HP, and do over 70% with ZH or Knock Off (which would OHKO after Brave Bird recoil).

Do you think this is viable, or should I stick to SD+CC?

Okay, this has me confused.

On the strategy Pokedex here's the EV spread we're told to use for Mega Medicham: 16 HP/240 Attack/252 Speed.

But on the Set Details for the Wallbreaker set, it says the following:
240 Speed EVs are used because Mega Medicham will outspeed Jolly Pinsir before it Mega Evolves and easily live a Quick Attack; 252 Speed EVs are not used, as the final 12 EVs are unnecessary.
Did someone have a brain fart posting the EVs for that set?

And what's more, I already pointed this out a while back on their thread, but they still haven't gotten around to answering my question OR doing something to correct this! SOMEONE NEEDS TO FIX THIS ASAP!!!

The spread is supposed to be 16 HP / 252 Atk / 240 Spe. I just submitted a change; it should be fixed shortly :)

Question:

I put Pokemon into PokeBank on my X Version to transfer to Alpha Sapphire.
On my AS, how come all of my Pokemon had the blue pentagon still except for one?
I thought the pentagon meant I got the Pokemon in the game itself, but it came from X...
The pentagon means it was born in Kalos.
It will always have the pentagon because that's how the game marks it. The one that doesn't have it either isn't from Kalos or is a hack.

This is flat out wrong. The pentagon means it came from a generation 6 game, i.e. XY or ORAS, and does not mean born in Kalos.

What relevant treats have base speed between 70-85 and don't run any investment?
SpD Heatran, Suicune and Skarmory are the only three pokemon I can think of.
Suicune is uncommon so there is no need to have enough EVs to outspeed that, but having enough EVs to outspeed Heatran can be very important

Does Magic Bounce reflect moves bounced back by Magic Bounce? Let's say I have a Mega Absol or Espeon in on a Sableye and Sableye used Will-O-Wisp. Which Pokemon would be Burned?
Or would it just go back and forth forever like

I've been soft resetting for my Pokemon lately, and I was wondering if it is worth it to soft resetting for a new Heatran. His IVs are 31/31/31/31/31/18ish, so should I keep resetting?

Latias @Latiasite
Timid nature
252 Spd, 252 SpAtk, 4 Def
-Dragon Pulse
-Psyshock
-Calm Mind
-Recover (Do not suggest Roost)

Thoughts on this setup? I feel like this set does lack coverage though, move suggestions are appreciated.

Looking for a good taunt user for an "anti lead" that can possibly be of use to my team lol

Wondering the viability of mold breaker pangoro (to taunt magic bounce leads) any other thoughts?

Also Does dugtrio to trap b passers?

On hyper offense, Taunt Azelf is a good option. Taunt Mega Gyarados is great as well, pangoro is better off with scrappy or iron fist. Pangoro is certainly viable tho.
Taunt Thundurus works, but having more coverage moves is usually more useful.
Taunt mega aerodactyl is excellent to check talonflame. Hope I helped :]
edit: yeah, good point MegaScizor - taunt terrakion is good as well.
