ORAS OU Rate My Generic Team

Yea... So this is my team. It's kinda normal. I'm just wondering if it is a good idea

Scizor @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Adamant Nature
- U-turn
- Bullet Punch
- Knock Off
- Superpower

I decided to use it because it can hit hard and it's a hard hitter and I just like using it. It's just a standard Choice Band set, nothing special. U-turn keeps momentum. Bullet punch is nice priority for such a slow pokemon. Knock off is a coverage move and can remove leftovers or eviolite etc. Superpower is not just used as a stronger alternative in case more power is needed, but also useful for incoming steel types.

Heatran @ Air Balloon
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Fire Blast
- Rock Slide
- Earth Power

This is Heatran. I use it because of its ability, flash fire, allowing me to switch in when I predict a fire type move on my scizor. It is mostly just a special attacker and someone to set rocks. The air balloon grants it ground immunity (I can't think of a better item). Stealth rock is useful to prevent too much switching on the opponents side. Fire Blast is its STAB attack. Rock Slide and Earth Power are coverage moves as I do not have any Rock or Ground type moves elsewhere. I've thought of using Flash Cannon instead of Rock Slide but ultimately decided that it only gives me an edge on Fairies (and Ice pokemon) which usually have higher special defense than defense. As a result, I gave another pokemon a Steel type move.

Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Volt Switch
- Will-O-Wisp
- Hydro Pump
- Pain Split
Rotom-Wash is what I switch into when an incoming water or ground move. It also allows me to use the VoltTurn. Will-O-Wisp weakens physical attackers. Hydro Pump is a Water STAB. Pain Split is just to regenerate health. Nothing Much here. Its main role is to tank special moves.

Venusaur @ Venusaurite
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Synthesis
- Sleep Powder
I realised I didn't really have a typing core. So I decided to throw in a Grass type for a Water-Grass-Fire Core. Giga Drain and Sludge Bomb are just STAB. Synthesis regenerates health and Sleep Powder kind off "stuns" the opponent. It has good special stats. So it can come in on a hit and hit hard with giga drain or sludge bomb. Sleep powder is used if I can predict a switch.

Kyurem-Black @ Life Orb
Ability: Teravolt
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Naughty Nature
- Dragon Claw
- Fusion Bolt
- Ice Beam
- Iron Head
Besides Scizor, I had no physical attackers. This made me vulnerable to Chansey and Blissey. As a result, I used the physical attacker: Kyurem-Black. This guy is just meant to be and all out attacker and to stop Special Walls. Like a back-up Scizor. Dragon Claw gives it STAB and Iron Head lets it hit fairies (which usually don't have that good physical stats) hard. Ice Beam is to deal with most threats that are weak to ice type especially since I don't have another ice type move. Fusion Bolt is a good move on Kyurem-B due to its limited physical attack movepool.

Mandibuzz @ Leftovers
Ability: Overcoat
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Foul Play
- Roost
- Taunt
- Defog
Due to VoltTurn and Kyurem-Black's typing, I was extremely susceptible to stealth rocks. As a result, I needed a spinner/defogger. So I chose another tanky pokemon, Mandibuzz. Foul Play is a standard attack. Roost is a recovery move especially since it takes damage from stealth rock. Taunt is a way to stop toxic. and defog removes the threats.

So how y'all think. Please give me contructive feedback. No "u sak gtfo" except the first person to comment here. k thx bai

If Heatran is your Rock setter then I'd advise you run him as a specially defensive set rather than an offensive one. Specially defensive Heatran is great for a lot of things like walling birdspam and Fairies (barring Mega Gardevoir particularly effectively) and is a more suitable Rock setter. Also, since your Venusaur is an offensive set I'd advise an extra coverage move, namely either HP Fire or Earthquake, though I'll plug HP Fire to shoot down those Scizors and Ferros that try to wall you and those annoying fucking Brelooms; ideally I'd recommend replacing Sleep Powder since recovery is always helpful. You also lack a Scarfer. With that, I recommend running your Kyurem as a Scarfed set with 224 Spe, 200 SpA, and 84 Atk with Fusion Bolt, Earth Power, Ice Beam and Outrage; Earth Power is fantastic on Kyurem since it lets you get the 2HKO on Rotom-W thanks to Terravolt, and he's a fast cleaner/wall breaker who can help out a number. You have Taunt and Knock Off support on your team so all the means to deal with Chansey and the like are already there so I don't think it's worth investing overly much in his physical attack and neglecting his special movepool. On the topic of Rotom, I recommend a physical spread since he's better at walling birdspam and Landorus that way, and give him an EV spread of 212 Def and 44 Spe to outspeed max speed Azumarill and get a Burn off quickly. Mandibuzz might not be the best fit for your team if you do take my recommendation and run defensive Heatran since it'll make your team a bit too passive, so something more offensive would be better. Latios fits the bill on that, he clears hazards, drops Draco nukes, and is just generally a hard, fast special hitter that really any team values. You could run Roost or Memento in your last slot, but I'd advise Roost, even though Memento does generally force out a set-up sweeper and kill opponent's momentum, given that you have no set-up of your own means it really doesn't give you anything you really need in terms of an opportunity to set up your sweeper or whatever, but it's an option. If you're desperate to stick with Mandibuzz though for whatever reason then I'd suggest a spread of EVs: 248 HP / 136 Def / 108 SpD / 16 Spe, that really gives her enough all-around bulk to do her job effectively. There are other possibilities like running SD Mega Scizor as a set-up sweeper and something like Ferro or Celebi to complete your F/W/G core, but I'll stick with my other suggestions for now. Good luck, man.

im just gonna say nothing cuz if you have nothing nice to say dont speak

Actually, it's "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all", so you could've just left the thread alone...not to minimod or anything, but that's kinda rude to post that on a team. The point is to help people.

Just a thought, you don't have anything particularly fast on your team. I would consider giving Kyurem-B a Choice Scarf set, which will allow it to be much faster. It's saved me quite a few times.

I think he's just a troll, ignore him. And OP, don't take that guys shit personally, you have a decent team here.

I can almost say for certain he is either a troll or just a really bad player as he hasn't been to helpful in other RMT threads either. Also I am agreeing with most of Der Twist's choices though I personally like a Modest Air Balloon Heatran over the Calm defensive one on more offensive teams.
