Hello my name is Omega, and I recently got active on Showdown. Being the guy I am, I would like some feedback on my team!
Nano (Gardevoir) (F) @ Gardevoirite
Ability: Trace
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 156 HP / 252 SpD / 100 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hyper Voice
- Psyshock
- Wish
- Will-O-Wisp
This is probably a weird setup as far as stats go, but I thought that Nano should be fast enough to at least get off burn on the opponent. Anyhow, I like the move pool, with good attacks and support options that make Nano a versatile threat. I chose Psyshock instead of Psychic because its defense instead of special defense so I can circumvent any counters. Hyper Voice for that STAB too.
Molasses (Slowbro) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Yawn
- Dream Eater
- Surf
- Protect
This is something of a troll set, with the yawn plus protect plus dream eater combo with surf for the stab. The plan is basically to force the opponent to switch out, allowing me to switch in something in kind. But yeah, Mo's my wall, with regenerator for the heals, though I may switch the leftovers out for like a rocky helmet.
Meowzerg (Ferrothorn) (M) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Iron Barbs
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 52 HP / 204 Def / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Stealth Rock
- Leech Seed
- Gyro Ball
- Toxic
The name is something of an in-joke, but Zerg is my staller/all around wall and lead in pokemon. Stealth Rock on turn 1, leech the next, poison if possible, and finally gyro ball to deal damage. I put more points in SpD since I assumed that's what people would be attacking against due to Iron Barbs and the Rocky Helmet.
Jiraiya (Greninja) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Protean
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- U-turn
- Hydro Pump
- Extrasensory
- Ice Beam
Pretty standard special sweeper set except for the U-turn. Basically since Jiraiya is fast, I thought U-turn would be handy so I can switch into either Mo for a wall or Zeus for a defog. Of course depending on feedback I might change it. Protean gives stab to all my moves so it's really a matter of type coverage.
Zeus (Zapdos) @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Defog
- Roost
- Volt Switch
- Extrasensory
Zeus is my defogger, since I didn't want too many overlapping weaknesses if I went with Latias instead. It's also my Special Wall, since flying eliminates that ground weakness and electric is a really good defensive type. Of course, I get hit by that 4X stealth rock weakness, but I wouldn't switch if I wasn't afraid of that. Leftovers + Roost for life regen, with Volt Switch to make an escape and Extrasensory because I didn't know what else to put. Should probably change that.
Grigori (Dragonite) (M) @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Claw
- Extreme Speed
- Dragon Dance
- Fire Punch
Physical Sweeper, with something of a weird item choice. Weakness Policy+ Multiscale equals a free boost, with Dragon Dance for that speed. I have Dragon Claw instead of Outrage because I don't want to be locked into a move in case someone switches into a Fairy or Steel type.
What do you guys think?
