Like catching Pokemon from the friend safari in certain Pokeballs?

I can understand people asking about going 2 for 1 for trade rights for a pokemon, can't understand this though. I'd assume it's up to a persons discretion on what they deem as fair
Maximum of four IMO (I don't really find shiny pokemon valuable though, unless it's something really rare like toshady4ladies' ORAS shiny Cresselia). That includes rareish "fresh caught" pokemon from soul silver and stuff like that too, not just from friend safaris. Again, just my opinion.

But iirc, she's SRing Cresselia on Crescent Isle, so I don't think she can breed atm.

Well, fresh caught pkmn in certain balls are only worth so much. IVs probably suck, nature's wrong and maybe even the ability. So, it depends, but most of the time those are only used as parents to get a project going (meaning they won't be parents for the finished pkmn.... And besides, everyone with XY can get the friend safari pkmn themselves, it's not like they're super special IMO :/

Well sometimes it's all you have to start out with, you know. I ask because I get people new to Pokemon trading in my thread and all they can give me are Pokemon they can catch in Gen 6 games. And sometimes I'm lazy to catch a Pokemon myself (I like breeding a lot better) so we can help each other out. That's why I ask.

4 would be an okay number for a shiny I already had, but I was also wondering about custom bred shinies (my specialty), since 4 females with egg moves is what I usually ask for those so what about fresh captures?
If they're new, they might not understand some of the mechanics behind fresh captures (Cute Charmers, False Swipers, Tracers, etc). I'd say 4 12.5% females (Eevee, Starters, etc) is fair. Maybe 6-8 50%?
if there new and if you can clone you might as well try to help them out in general and just occasionally give them something for free. If you must though I think you can have them super train or do some ev training services etc... If a new user only had stuff though they can catch in friend safari's and that was all they can offer then I wouldn't take more then 2. That is my personal opinion but then again I normally just give stuff away especially to new users.
rufusdrumknott if these new users want something that you have from your thread and they can't afford it then let me know. I would be happy to pay or trade for what they want. Sorry if you think I am being nosy.

This might be a big thing to ask, but does anyone have a jirachi that's competitive in game? The only one I have is from an event, but it has bad iv's. If anyone has one, can you pm me? I have a 5iv (imperfect attack) modest genesect that I'd be glad to trade. Thanks!

I have two shiny jirachi's there not mine though but they are from a well known user on smogon that is swagging awesome. Either ways I can give you one just check my thread for the one you want. They may not be perfect though. I also have a few other perfect legendaries I can share with you especially if you intend to use them for battle. Pm me when you have found something.

If this has OT: Most with TID: 23986, then it's not strictly not redistributable (i.e. not tradeable by anyone but the original catcher).

You've been holding onto this for ~14 hours now; I'm going out on a limb to say this implies you're wanting to keep, otherwise you could've used those 14 hours to find a better one by now.
However, for a more complete answer:
Groudon can be RNGd in past generations to be shiny, in nicer balls and with better IVs. Since it can't be used in VGC, as far as I know, the only reason to want one with a Pentagon is for the pride of having soft-reset it (or for additional value to some people who disagree with RNG abuse or appreciate Pentagon Pokémon due to [slightly] added difficulty to hack them).
If you're ok with those IVs, and proud of your reset, then keep it. If you're going to spend a large amount of time looking back on it without pride and disappointed that you decided to keep something less than flawless, then toss.
