ORAS OU Hyper Offense Hazard Stack

Intro:
Hello Smogon. Intros suck so I'll make my point clear. This is a team that aims to use Hazard Stack then use offensive Pokemon, so that the opponent has only 2 options: switch and take the pain of hazards, or die to my ultra powerful attacks. Not much of a choice, eh?

Team Building
First, I added the Hazard Stacker, Smeargle,

Description:
235.png

Smeargle @ Focus Sash
Ability: Own Tempo
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Dark Void
- Sticky Web
- Stealth Rock
- Spikes

This is the Hazard Stack part of my team. It almost unfailingly sets up SR and SW and sometimes 1 layer of spikes. This guy makes sure I can get some important KOs. Defogger? I'll switch into Bisharp. Now, the opponent kills himself taking +2 Adamant Bisharp. This is pretty standard , the EV spread makes sure I can outspeed a lot of stuff and Sleep Hax them. Suck it when Dark Void misses. Spore on the other hand leaves me open to Grass types.

Spr_5b_609.png

Chandelure @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Fire Blast
- Shadow Ball
- Energy Ball
- Hidden Power [Fighting]

My team needed a Spinblocker and a Powerful Revenge killer so I chose Scarf Chandelure. It has the most Sp.Atk of all non-mega non-uber Pokemon. Fire Blast is when I really need the power, as Shadow Ball is my main STAB. Energy Ball lures in Quagsire and Swampert and kills them, as well as KOing non-scarfed Damaged Lando. HP Fighting was to get that Mock Ghost-Fighting coverage.

625.gif

Bisharp @ Black Glasses
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Iron Head
- Sucker Punch
- Pursuit

This guy is the way my Hazards stay on the field. Defog? Knock yourself out, you guys are facing +2 Bisharp here. Knock Off is for Skarm, knocks off her Shed Shell so Magnezone can finish her off. Also part of the Gallabish core. Pursuit catches fleeing ghosts, but it needs prediction. I'll nickname him 2Hard2Use.
mega_gallade_sprite_by_milkvetch-d7yv0ka.png

Gallade-Mega (M) @ Galladite
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Psycho Cut
- Knock Off
- Close Combat

The second part of the Gallabish core, All you have to do is SD and seal the game with your unresisted STABs. I'll repeat it with pleasure. UNRESISTED STABs. Anyway, the role of this guy is to deal with my common Fighting Weakness. His excellent defenses give him a lot of chancesto set up and sweep. I hate the fact he did not get Scrappy, but Gamefreak loves irritating us. I'm not going to get the happiness they get from that.
497.gif

Serperior @ Leftovers Life Orb
Ability: Contrary
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Leaf Storm
- Hidden Power [Ground]
- Giga Drain
- Glare

Now with the release of Contrary, Serperior became the god of wallbreaking. An attack that has 130 BP and doubles your Sp.Atk? Insane. Plus, Serperior Has really got good bulk, so it can set up with ease. And he deals with my Ground and Water Weakness. Too bad he has too many weaknesses himself. This guy is my favourite Pokemon, and now Gamefreak turned his viability in OU upside-down(Understand?Contrary?) Giga Drain Heals LO Damage.
Spr_4d_462.png

Magnezone @ Choice Specs
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpA / 8 SpD
Modest Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Flash Cannon
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Volt Switch

This Poke traps and kills Skarm and Scizor, a huge threat to this team. It also traps Fairies which is also a huge help. Everything about this is standard. Nothing is more standard than this. Volt Switch is Momentum, Tbolt is STAB, HP Fire is for those steels, and Flash Cannon is for fairies. If only Heatran did not exist.

488.png.png

Cresselia (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 152 Def / 108 SpA
Bold Nature
- Moonlight
- Calm Mind
- Psyshock
- Thunder Wave

Solely to Check Mega Lopunny.Calm Mind Cresselia is an offensive defensive Pokémon, becoming more offensive or defensive depending on how you approach its EVs. Regardless, its innate bulkiness will be ever-present, and even without significant EV investment, it'll continue to be an efficient wall. Calm Mind gives it an offensive and defensive boost to its special stats. After a single Calm Mind it should be soaking up most special attacks with ease, whilst the offensive boost will give it respectable attacking options.Psychic is its reliable STAB move. You'll want to exercise some caution in regards to throwing it about aimlessly, since Pursuit-equipped Dark types (and Metagross) see it as a free switch-in.T-Wave cripples stuff and makes them slower so I can Moonlight faster and heal up.Moonlight is your only real option for recovery. In normal weather it matches Recover and under Sun it's a 66% heal. Under Rain, Hail or Sandstorm (with the latter being fairly common due to Sandstream), it heals for a rather meagre 25%.

639.png

Terrakion @ Choice Band Focus Sash
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Rock Slide
- Quick Attack Stealth Rock
- Earthquake

The final Pokemon of this team, this pokemon deals with my fire weakness and hits hard with his almost unresisted STABs. The Metagame around it has been very unfair to it, but it is very powerful and not to be under estimated, even Two KOs Gliscor with Stone Edge. He also sets up SR to deal with Talonflame and make sure opponents fear switching.

485.png

Heatran @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 100 SpA / 132 SpD / 24 Spe
Modest Nature
-
Lava Plume
- Stealth Rock
- Ancient Power
- Earth Power
The rocker of the team, he can setup SR for my team. Lava Plume can fish for burns and was therefore my choice over Flamethrower. Ancient Power deals with Zard-Y and Talon, threats to my team. The special attack investment allows hm to 2HKO something important, I cannot remember. EP can catch opposing lead Heatran for OHKOes. 24 speed is to outspeed Heatran opposing Heatran that run 4 extra speed to try to creep other Heatran who run 16 speed, AKA creeping the creeping creeps.

Threats:

talonflame.png

BirdSpam wrecks my team. Ow. Owwww. I hate it. This Thing Should Not Exist.(or TTSNE).

Importable:

Chandelure @ Choice Scarf

Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

- Knock Off
- Iron Head
- Sucker Punch
- Pursuit

Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 100 SpA / 132 SpD / 24 Spe
Modest Nature
- Lava Plume

Dude read the RMT rules......... need at least 3-4 lines about each poke so that we can rate the team properly otherwise we don't know what part each pokes plays in the team. :)

If you are going to play hazard stack when defog is so common you need to explain it a bit more. Also, you need a way to deal with teams that carry taunt/magic bounce. For example, any stall team with a mega sableye or offense team with a mega diance makes smeargle pretty useless. Please at least explain your reasoning :)

Not entirely sure how effective the concept of hazard stacking is when you're running all your hazards on a suicide lead. Smeargle is pretty shit, I don't see him lasting long enough to get a notable amount of hazards up before he's brutalised, it's not like he forces switches to allow you to stack hazards throughout the game. Maybe running Terrakion as a Sash lead with Rocks and an alternative Spike setter could give you a bit more success setting up hazards. It's not a way to solve any of your weaknesses but improving the fundamental structure your team is based around is probably a better start. Hope this helped.

If you want a revenge killer / spin blocker I would recommend gengar or scarfed Chandelure. If you want a more passive or stall oriented spin blocker I would go with Sableye.

Chandelure and gengar can nuke most if the spinners in the business. Gengar more so than Chandelure.

As for Sableye, access to wow and Taunt is useful

Who should I replace?

Not even birdspam, Talonflame alone just destroys your team. And so does Mega Lopunny and they are some of the most commonly used pokemons.

Not now, Chandelure deals with Talon as the SR is almost impossible to get off the field, Mega Lopunny is a threat but Mega Gallade deals with her.

252 Atk Sharp Beak Talonflame Brave Bird vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Chandelure: 186-220 (71.2 - 84.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252 Atk Lopunny Return vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Gallade: 180-213 (64.9 - 76.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

They can remove those threats, but leave themselves in perfect revenge position in the process. Also, neither can actually switch into said threats.

Yes, I know, they are huge threats, and I need to sac 1 Pokemon in the process, but no team is perfect, anyway I got 1698 on the ladder with this team.

So you've decided to go with Chandelure instead of Smeargle????

He has more raw power than Gengar and good speed with added surprise factor.

However gengar has taunt which is very useful against stall teams

Unaware clef....... How do you account for that

252+ SpA Choice Specs Magnezone Flash Cannon vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Clefable: 332-392 (84.2 - 99.4%) -- 75% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

0 SpA Clefable Fire Blast vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Magnezone: 166-196 (48.2 - 56.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock

If she lives Flash Cannon.

You cannot reliably switch into Magnezone, because he takes damage everytime it comes in... where Clefable can heal itself, Magnezone cannot... so you may find yourself coming into Fire Blast and using Flash Cannon in the time when Clefable comes back and you lose half HP for nothing.
The second time it happens, your counter is gone.

Hey man, thats a good team that you have there but still needs some work i hope that i can help you.
First of all theres better spin blocker then Chandelure, thats Gengar has more offensive presure than Chandelure and can hit Clef+Heatran core realy hard, so my first advice is to change Chandelure for Gengar, and if you want a harzard staking team, you will need Heatran and Skarmory/Ferrothorn, my choice is heatran and Skarmory
that way you can handle Bird Spam better because looks like its a problem to your team, and i would change heatran for Terrakion and Ferrothorn for Serperior , because Talonflame is so popular in OU right now that she 90% could not sweep. , bisharp would be better with Lum Berry or Life Orb because gets some pressure on Lati@s so they cant defog, that way you will have more damage with Hazards, with those changes you will have a realy good team to play on ladder and tours if you want, i will sumerise the changes for you.

Lure with Gallade, Clef has to go with moonblast or get KOed by psycho cut, switch into mag, outspeed and Flash Cannon, really, I haven't had a problem with Clef. But Thanks.

Thanks for the rate. One thing you missed though, is this is more of a HO team, so only the change for Heatran will be made, I tried the change of Gengar, but Chandelure's higher raw power is much better than Gengars speed. And I willl Use an offensive rocker for heatran.
