I haven't played the OU meta-game for about 2 months. The meta-game has changed a lot (imo) within this time. My old teams aren't really cutting it anymore for me so I decided to build a new team.
I ended up building a hyper offensive team with a SpD Jirachi:
Jirachi @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 148 SpD / 108 Spe
Careful Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Iron Head
- U-turn / Fire Punch
- Healing Wish
Jirachi is pretty anti-meta because it stops the most common defoggers in the tier ( the Lati-twins ). I use Rachi as my stealth rocker and as a check to some SpA pokémon. Iron head is there just because it's annoying. I am not sure whether I want to use U-turn or Fire Punch, since the both seem to work for my team. As U-turn keeps momentum which is pretty big on a Hyper Offense team and Fire Punch is there for the common Ferrothorn switch-ins. Healing Wish is there to revive some of my threats, mostly mega-Gallade, Raikou or Keldeo. The 108 Spe is to outspeed Jolly Bisharp as it's important to be able to get off the healing wish before I get knocked out by Knock Off
Gallade (M) @ Galladite
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Close Combat
- Zen Headbutt
- Knock Off
Gallade is one of the biggest threats in the tier as it does have a huge attack stat and one of the Pokémon I think that is extremely annoying and bulky is Mega Venusaur, which Mega-Gallade beats one on one. The rest of the set is pretty self-explanatory. Close Combat because it hits like a truck, Zen Headbutt because I can kill the Venusaur and Knock Off cuz Knock Off
Bisharp @ Life Orb
Ability: Defiant
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch
- Pursuit
- Iron Head
Bisharp has great synergy with Mega Gallade and has the ability to punish Defoggers. Hyper Offensive teams are often really frail and having some nice STAB-priority is just great to have. Usually Bisharp runs Swords Dance but I already have 2 set-up Pokémon on my team and the combo of Knock Off, sucker punch and pursuit is just really good.
Keldeo @ Leftovers
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Scald
- Secret Sword
- Substitute
- Calm Mind
I wanted a Specs Pokémon on this team and as you will see I chose Raikou because I think it needs the Specs more than Keldeo does. The next option was a Sub-CM Keldeo which is also a very good Pokémon because after a CM you have the same speed, and SpA as a Specs Keldeo and you can switch moves. The rest of the set is pretty standard. Scald for accuracy, burns and more PP than Hydro Pump and Secret Sword for dual-STAB and hitting those SpD pokémon really hard.
Raikou @ Choice Specs
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Shadow Ball
- Hidden Power [Ice]
I use Raikou because it has nice power with the Choice Specs, a really nice speed tier and it keeps initiative. Thunderbolt is there for power, Volt Switch for momentum, Shadow Ball as a nice neutral option to still hit things hard and hidden power [ice] because a lot of things in the tier are quad weak to Ice. Raikou is there to weaken things for my main sweeper, which is Mega-Gallade
-Sorry for the large image-
Landorus-Therian (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- U-turn
- Hidden Power [Ice]
As my final Pokémon I picked the oh so standard Landorus-T. I realized I had nothing so switch in on physical moves and Sandstorm-Excadrill can sweep me or at least severely dent my team. With the intimidate and 145 Base Attack stat Landorus-T in general is one of the best pokémon in the tier. The movepool is pretty standard but I have decided on hidden power ice over Knock Off since I already have 2 Knock Off users and Landorus-T is one of the main switches for Landorus-T. Hidden power [ice] can two-shot other Landorus-Ts without any investment.
So this was my team. The only downfall is that it doesnt have a way to get rid of hazards. If you can think of something that can keep my momentum and is able to get rid of hazards I would really like that. If there are any other suggestions to hit certain Pokémon better which I cannot hit well according to your opinion.
All in all I do think that this teams covers the majority of the tier and hits like a truck in general.
