Well, yes and no. The ball itself is not legally obtainable in Gen VI, but females transferred from HGSS that were caught with apricorn balls can be bred with them.

But yeah, Gen V-VI Pokemon, as well as hidden abilities, are not legal in apricorn balls.

But anyway, onto my question. My OR game is a digital version from the eShop. Could I theoretically cut and move the save file out of the SD card, make and play through a new file, and just paste the old file back in its proper folder when I want to revert to my old save? I want to play a nuzlocke challenge through the game, but don't want to lose all of my old data since the game is my main file for battle spot, breeding, etc.

I know using separate SD cards and re-downloading the game doesn't work, since apparently the 3DS can detect it and prevent use of the previous save file on the original SD card, but could I manage two different saves using the same SD card with no issues?

Not without external devices, no.

Edit: Looking for Moon Ball Female Numel, preferably with good IVs and Quiet, but its not necessary. Egg Moves would be cool too, especially Heat Wave.

Could anyone tell me which HAs can only be obtained via friend safari only? (not dexnav nor hordes)

Edit: I tried to not be that lazy and figured it out, just in case someone wonders as well. A few of them may be found in hordes but they are much easier to get them if you have their friend safari. If I'm missing any let me know.

So, now that I got the Shiny Charm, it's time to hatch until I get some nice shiny thingamajingies.

However, I'm still not certain about one thing. If given the choice, what is better to breed in order to detect a shiny spread?

One parent has 31/31/31/31/31/31 and the other has 0/0/0/0/0/0 (or one parent has 29/29/29/29/29/29)
a) two Magikarps
b) two Togetics
c) A Magikarp + Japanese 6iv Ditto
d) A Togetic + Japanese 6iv Ditto

I have a hunch it's either c or d. If it is, I gotta work for that Ditto again...

Oh yeah, something interesting I found out at least. While it's true that the TSV is not constant if you're using non-Masuda test parents and then switching to Masuda for the final breed, it does remain constant for that specific spread if you use save restoration. Good to know if you're willing to look for spreads that you can match people with...

Personally I use a hex 30 ha togetic and a hex 0 foreign ditto. It tells me the gender ratio and ability right away. In theory, a hex 29 and hex 1 poke would be best as it will immediately tell you if you generated a 0,30, or 31...but if you don't mind retesting the spread hex 30 or 0 or 31 are all pretty convenient

Edit: note that the HA is particularly imortar in your test parents

Fair enough. I've already bred a 0/0/0/0/0/0 HA Togetic, so all I need to do, is get me a foreign Ditto then. Thanks! =)

Also, imortar, lol?

Don't know if this is the right place to post, but here goes:
Where the heck can you sign in for the upcoming Pokemon competition?? I've gone 50 times through their website (pgl) and haven't found a link to sign in?...

I'm looking for an Orange Flabebe in a Repeat Ball, CMT for it please. I'll trade 2:1 if it's also Calm nature and has all three EMs.
Don't know if it matters, but I'm breeding one right now. Got all the egg moves and now it's just a matter of replacing parents until I get it. =)

Bump. Helped

My 3DS will be ready in two hours or so, I can breed you one for free since you are still on my FC list.

best ball and nature for maga steelix, I'm leaning towards heavy ball and impish, but I don't know if adamant is better?
It depends on how you want to utilize the Steelix: http://www.smogon.com/dex/xy/pokemon/steelix

Fast Ball is definitely the preferred ball for shiny.

And yea, both impish and adamant are viable depending on whether you want it to be more defensive or offensive. I'm sure you mean heavy slam, since items can't be held on a mega. I'd personally go for adamant because MSteelix is defensive enough. However I also want to suggest to opt for Gyro Ball and go for a nature such as Brave, Sassy or Relaxed (and 0 Speed IVs of course)
