Does anyone have a Quiet nature Ditto with this IV set?
31/31/31/31/31/00

Because I am trying to breed my own Honedge with this iv set for days, and I'm having no luck getting one with 00 speed iv's.

Pass on Quiet nature to Honedge first then use a Ditto with that IV spread, perhaps? If I recall correctly, mostthe3rd has a Brave Ditto with that spread on his giveaway.

Hehehe? Maybe I should explain it more specifically of what I have done and tried so far. Yes, I did pass on the quiet nature first and then I used most's brave ditto. ^^;

I was actually able to get honedges with 31/31/31/31/31/xx (but no 00 speed iv's).

If your Honedge already has a Quiet nature and 31/31/31/31/31/xx and you have a Ditto with any nature and these IVs 31/31/31/31/31/00, then the Ditto's nature is completely irrelevant for what you're trying to accomplish!?!

What you're basically wanting here is to control the 6 IVs of you're pokemon (if I've understood correctly?). Even assuming your parents are flawless, you only have a one chance in 31 to get what you're looking for, and divide that again by two if your honedge parent is missing the speed IV. So if my math is correct, you have 1/62 chance to get the pokemon you want :/

Well, I'm really not sure what you mean by that, but I think the reason why it's taking me longer to get it because the Brave ditto that I'm using has this iv set.
31/31/31/xx/31/00.

Or at least in my opinion, no?

MegaSimon - Thanks.

If that's the case, your chances just dropped from 1 in ~54 eggs to 1 in ~96 eggs (assuming 5 desired IVs on the Honedge parent), according to destinyknot.tk. Just keep trying: I got my hexaflawless Mixed Attacker Bagon after a ton of eggs also, so yeah, just gotta be patient.

Edit: Or you could take Raistmagic's Ditto to bring the chances back up to 1 in 54 eggs :p

mostthe3rd's Brave Ditto has a 31 in SAtk, but the wrong nature. Your Honedge has the right nature but is missing exactly one IV you want, speed. Using a Quiet Ditto with the IVs you're looking for, wouldn't improve your odds of getting what you want, IF you really are using most's TR Ditto. It would only allow you to switch the Everstone and Destiny Knot, which effectively would get you nothing.

If it helps, I have been compilling the possibillities for TR Ditto's from Emerald and FRLG in Japanese for Masuda'ing. I don't recall ever finding a Quiet perfect flawless Ditto, but I did find a Bold one. When I was searching for my frame in FR, I found a frame very close to this Bold one. Should I go for it?

Why not? Go for it and perhaps next time you could do the community a service by hosting giveaway for TR Dittos which are also good for Masuda Method :)

I might actually do that. I don't particulary care about profiting from Ditto's so yeah, why not? =)

Actually it's one in 32 chance. Don't forget to include 0, which makes it 32 possible IV values.

If you know how, TMM would be useful to use.

Whoops. Stupid mistake, I shouldn't have missed that... -.-
Thanks for pointing that out!

Hey guys, which do you think is the best EM for Bastiodon out of the following:
  • Curse
  • Wide Guard
  • Rock Blast
Leaning towards Rock Blast right now, the others don't really seem to be useful at all :/

Wide Guard can certainly be useful, although it begs the question of why you're using Bastiodon in doubles. Rock Blast is useful for breaking Subs, but Bastiodon has pretty pitiful Atk, so YMMV. Curse is useful for increasing Atk/Def, but Bastiodon has a number of common weaknesses, meaning it probably won't stick around very long to use it, especially without reliable recovery. So Rock Blast is probably the most useful of the three, although there's no reason you can't breed all three moves on.
