Anyone know anything on how much damage Beat Up can do or how it's calculated?
[NAME]
Beat Up
[SHORT DESC]
All healthy Pokemon aid in damaging the target.
[LONG DESC]
All Pokemon that are not fainted and do not have a status condition do a 10 power typeless attack on the target. Beat Up uses base Attack and base Defense for these calculations; EVs, IVs, and Natures are irrelevant. Beat Up hits through WonderGuard, even if the Pokemon isn't weak to Dark.

Straight from our Move Descriptions thread in the D/P Analyses forum.

Does that help?

If weaterball is used when sunny day is in effect, it becomes a 100 BP fire attack. Does this get a extra boost from the sun so it'll be 150 BP?

And Castform becomes Fire-type too, so it's the 100 + STAB + Sunny Day boost?

Tough you're probably talking about Rozerade, I'm just asking.

Def: 25 - 27
SpA: 23 - 24
SpD: 20 - 22

Keep or no?

Atk is depressing, if it was 20+, it would be for sure a keeper=(...

Any answer?

Dunno if this is limited to battle questions, but can anyone get REALLY specific on where to find the Rain Dance TM on Route 213? ^^()

I've been up and down it and found nothing.
You're looking on the wrong route. The Rain Dance TM is found on Route 223. Here's what you do:

Start from Sunyshore City. Head north, past the two female swimmers. Just past the first male swimmer, there is a gap between the rocks on his left. Surf through this gap, follow the obvious water path and you'll find the Rain Dance TM.

Is atk high enough? I was supposed to aim for 25+, but come on, 6 IVs make like a 1% difference....

That's sexy, use it. If you're gonna be cursing or something it doesn't matter anyway. Almost quad flawless, use it.

Alright, thanks, and on your question, doesn't dugtrio have a low base on those?

I'm not really sure it should get a special iv there to survive a certain atk...

What is doesn't survive (special-wise) with 0 Sp.Def, it won't survive with 31, that was calculated with most common Attacks.

HP matters a bit, but with just about 200 HP, it won't be standing much.

Turn 1:
Ttar (or whatever) is switched in!
<example> uses substitute.

Turn 2:
<example> switches out.
Ttar used Pursuit!

Does Pursuit hit the Pokemon switching out or will it hit the substitute? Since switching negates a bunch of stuff (leech seed, Toxic counter etc etc.) will the pursuit act as if the sub was never there? Just wanted to ask to see if this should be added to the resource thread, can anyone test/confirm?
