I'm just gonna point out the last time I recall Celever claiming to be drunk in a NOC game it was a lie, unless I'm recalling someone else but I'm fairly certain it was Celever. (Don't usually use stuff unrelated to myself, but this is too much of a deja vu)

Also I don't see how either his read list(Again the fact his interactions not yielding too many actual reads support my noncontent theory) or the rolefishing(Again I wouldn't just flat out ask him I am even as we speak pushing him towards the lynch because to me it feels like a bluff, but from Spiffy's perspective, him trying to call his bluff IS reasonable, also Spiffy slipping like that seems a bit unreasonable, I don't feel actually mafia spiffy would have done that) are from his perspective problematic, I personally like Amianki's much less(Though I don't approve of them anyway) as Spiffy at least posted reasonings for his list of people put in an arbitrary order, rather than just posting a list of names in an arbitrary order.

Another reason I'm not going along with the Spiffy lynch is simply that people are using reasons that don't match my reasons why I suspect him and in certain cases they contradict them.

Either way I'm really not comfortable testing my storm luck for much longer, and even though I think HD did say already the he is gone for the rest of the day(which adds fuel to my self defense via soft claim, after which whatever rules this game follows he will get a chance t o formulate a believable claim with his partners, I personally as a power role would go out of my way to be on for the deadline and I don't recall him giving any major reason for leaving, correct me if I'm wrong) so he won't be claiming his soft claim anymore, but my vote to him sticks regardless. I'm out (with an actual reasonable explanation, though it being 3 AM helps too)

I am pretty damned sure that I have made my opinions explicitly clear this entire time. I'm going to vote, but it's going to be circumstantial to who is being put to vote against who. Or for reasons I feel would benefit us a a unit. Why are you so hung up on actually voting when it doesn't mean a damned thing until closer to deadline? Someone saying "lynch so and so" when he can change it and me saying "I suspect so and so" are the same damned things.

I still feel we are no closer to putting people up for a vote than we were when I left for work 5 hours ago.
 
Yeah I've waited about an hour since I last posted and no one has addressed me. I think deadline is like 2 AM my time and I have to wake up early tomorrow and study and can't stay up much longer.

As much as I want Fate lynched that clearly isn't happening.

Kinda frustrating that I have been defending myself all day and yet so many people suddenly think I'm the best lynch for the day. I have explained my reasoning for every action I have taken this day. vonFiedler and Amianki haven't responded to most recent post and I would like them to.

I'll be up for like 30 more minutes to make any last minute responses.

it seems to me that since haunted has not been following my lead, and since i did not stop tunnelling as a reaction to you, then your reasons for lynching me are kind of flimsy?

Your mind wasn't changed until 12 posts before the one I called you out. You still kept your vote on Jalmont. While you did contribute more as the day went on, it's not true that your suspicions weren't still primarily on Jalmont until my big post.
 
actually my opinion on jalmont was swayed as far back as post #283, but i guess since i didn't immediately unvote (no better alternative at the time) it's a bit hard to convince you of that now, nevertheless it seems people are satisfied with my defense so i don't feel that you and i need to go back and forth on this any further today

Amianki Obviously that list is not set in stone, I don't get why it's such a big part of your read on me. What I mean is that I have more town reads then I have explicitly stated. Either way, I am approaching this game looking for what makes people scummy, so do you disagree that it's natural to have more scum reads than town reads? Fatecrashers did the same kind of analysis as me but didn't necessarily provide town reads, yet you have him pretty comfortably on the village side. Does the fact that I provided the list really make that big of a difference?

Kinda? I more don't really understand your playstyle at this point. You seem like the type of player that doesn't try to find like-minded town and group up with them, but you're not confident enough in your reads to try to push them through. I'm lost as to what roughly your game plan is when you roll a town role.

I personally think it's more natural to have more townreads than scumreads not only because more of them exist, but also because of a focus limit. For every engagement/argument/etc. you try to focus on at once, it gets exponentially harder to do without missing something. Scumreads naturally would take more of a backseat when you have too many of them, while you don't have to think so hard about people that are town.

Your reads list stood out to me because of the dissonance. Fate's didn't have that same problem.
 
Anyway, I am going to sleep now. Some last minute thoughts:
Fairly certain sunny004 is just noob town. Would probably have jumped on my bandwagon otherwise.
PokeguyNXB I am less certain of now because he used Celever's shit reasoning to vote for me and has done almost nothing this entire day.
Also leaning town on LightWolf because it would be pretty easy for him to just continue suspecting me if he was mafia.
I honestly can't tell if Celever is just really stubborn or mafia. Either way he is being no help whatsoever. I wonder what he'll talk about if I'm lynched? Someone please make sure he responds to post #241 and answers for his shit reasoning for lynching me this day.

Not voting for Haunted Shadow because he claimed power role. However, he needs to not be allowed to hide behind this for the whole game.

I honestly just feel like Cancerous just doesn't care that much to follow through on making good posts. I think if he was mafia and was doing it on purpose, he'd change his behavior if he was called out on it. I don't like the cancerous vote, but I see no other choice. And I'm extremely opposed to a vote on Spiffy day 1. And nothing else is going to catch fire but this as an alternative I think. So I'll follow along.

You KNOW I had my eye on you before even LW said anything, you called me out on it when I let it slide for a while. So I don't want to hear this fucking hootenanny about me not suspecting you until LW brought it up. Even moi brought that shit up. You still have not adequately explained to me why you'd want to rolefish and now you're bandwagoning on the really weak Cancerous lynch.

We're not ghosts. Plenty of people have looked at us. They just decided we seem townish. I'm sorry that as much as you've tried to lead the same can't be said of you. Instead of "you say I'm scum so you're scum", or "hmmmm maybe other people should come up with arguments against these two", maybe you should. This sentence is the epitome of acting like you're doing a lot while doing nothing at all.
 
For the record, I'm not certain Amianki is townish. He seems like a really good player, which could mean he's really good at passing himself off as town. Feelings are neutral for now.
 
The fact that a lot of people voiced all of their concerns against Spiffy/tried to lynch him at the end (not talking about people who have been talking about Spiffy as scum for a good majority of the day) makes me feel like Spiffy is likely town and that scum were trying to get a lynch on him. People could have just really not liked his behavior at the end though...

In terms of time, HD has played about since I started playing NOC on PS, which is approx a year, but in terms of experience it's maybe half of what i've played. I can't speak about how much he's played outside of PS. Don't know about smogon scumteam talk in the day phase (if that was what you're talking about) but if you wanted to know in general, mafia in NOC games i've played have been able to talk during the day in every game but one.

I feel like some of the arguments in defense of Cancerous (mainly the one stated by ButteredToast ) have validity, but I honestly don't think that anyone else is a better lynch at this point.
 
Small note beforehand: Day 1 actually ended when ButteredToast hammered Cancerous, a few posts ago. Anyways, let's get down to the flavour...

After hours and hours of endless debate and over 500 posts (which is a lot, really) and multiple potential targets for a lynch, the people gathered in the Wastelands finally reach a consensus. In the end, it is Cancerous who pulls the shortest straw - is this the first coordinated move by the Wastelanders to wipe out the plague that is the Legion? After you beat Cancerous to death, you decide to search his pocket, hoping to find incriminating evidence, but find the following:

What did the poor guy ever do to deserve this? All the Followers of the Apocalypse ever tried to do was help the needy, and now you decide to take out one of their best researchers? Let's just hope for you Wastelanders that the following days will be more fruitful, or this will get even bloodier.

Just noticed I made a mistake here: deadline was 52 hours from that post (2 days), not 28 (1 day). The time of deadline I gave is correct, however. The reason that deadline is a bit longer than a set 48 hours is because that would force me to get up at 8 on a Saturday, and well, it's Saturday. Sorry!
