Like the user above you said, group chats are being implemented. They're probably just fixing some issues, hence why PS is so buggy right now. If the problem still persists after the fixes, you should be angry.
For the future be sure to save your teams in a pastebin or a .txt file just in case you find a real issue like that.

The server finds some issues probably because of the recent integration of the groupchats. It will certainly be fixed in some hours you can still battle by going in other servers.

There is a VGC 2015 tier under ORAS doubles you might want to check out.

VGC is a doubles battle format, you could try to play the VGC format as Kangaaroo suggested you but if you want to play with more pokemons, Uber Doubles could allow you to play with legendaries and such.
Seconding this. "/tour new ou, roundrobin, 1" does not create a Double Round Robin tour.
There's been a lot of users asking this question in main (even though no one bothered asking here) so, I'm going to answer it here to avoid the toils of having to explain it in PM and what not and possibly let users who may come here to ask this know what to do.
"Can we have our groupchat become an official chatroom? it has a lot of users!!! Oh, official chatrooms are no longer being accepted? Surely we can get a private room!!"
Well, if you have a Group-chat that you think is popular enough to get a privateroom, you should get that notion out of your head for now. Group-chats have existed for a little more than a day and is still being hyped up, so a lot of users will be participating in them now and if you think this is the actual userbase of said room, you're wrong.
As time passes, the userbase will either grow or decay and if you make a post asking for it now, will get rejected because you can't know for sure if this is the actual userbase. So, wait 2 weeks, see if your groupchat's userbase meets the quota for a Private Room and then post.
In the meantime, you shouldn't be advertising the groupchat in any chatrooms or spamming random users' PMs to get your userbase up. You should only invite people you know as they'll be the ones sticking around for longer periods of time and will give you a real answer as to what the userbase might be.

The tour format has changed. It is now
/tour new tiername, type(round robin/elimination), cap(max number of users), elimination number (2= double, 3= triple)
so, to make a ou double round robin, you'd do (if you do not mention 2 or any number, it defaults to single)
/tour new ou, roundrobin, ,2 (leaving a blank space instead of cap, you can add any number you want though)

Is there any reason I can't use a Blissey in gen 2 OU with this moveset?
Heal bell
Soft-boiled
Thunder
Fire blast
I can't see any reason it couldn't be allowed. Chansey learns heal bell by egg move, soft boiled by level up, and thunder and fire blast by tm. I tried googling but had no luck. Is there something I'm missing?
