Resource ORAS OU Simple Questions, Simple Answers MKII (Read the OP First!) (Now with 100% more Rules!!!)

I need help trying to fill some gaps on a team. I need:

- A revenge killer that can check scarf lando t

- something that can help hoopa u by eating priority users such as talon, scizor, and breloom

- something to set up rocks, preferably but not nessecarily with taunt
HP Ice Landorus T actually compresses all 3 roles into 1 slot. Then you can just add whatever Psychic type you want. I don't know what's on your team so I can't rly recommend sth with no basis

Where can I find a list of all the recent tier changes? All I know is pinsir rose to OU (yay!) and zapdos dropped to UU (also pretty cool!) but there are obviously others. Anyone got the list?

Why are Evasion-increasing abilities like Sand Veil and Snow Cloak not banned under the Evasion Clause?
Also, Brightpowder is also not banned under the Evasion Clause.

It was said that these abilities / factors do not affect too much games but when it activates, you are forcing the opponent to play through hax as well. ( Like Double Team which forces the opponent to play through hax while the user also relies on hax ).

I mean, don't we want a competitive and fun metagame? Keeping these evasion doesn't really add up to make the game more skill-based or fun.

It's honestly because they don't have enough impact. For Sand Veil and Snow Cloak to matter, the user has to take it upon himself to use a rather specific team fully devoted to trying to maintain Sand or Snow, both of which are extremely difficult to maintain, and in exchange they only get a slight shift in their favor when the RNG is determining the fates. This is arguably very different than Double team, which was far less restricting, and Swagger, which was very restricting but swung the game far more in the user's favor. Similarly, Brightpowder gives the user a slight hax opportunity in exchange for another effect such as a buff or passive recovery, which is a large cost for the user.

Basically, they don't add anything but hax, but up until now they haven't done a lot of harm outside of spot cases, thus there isn't really a need to ban them, and in general bans are only handed out when needed to fix the meta

What is the EV spread and nature used on Calm Mind Suicune at OU? I can't check the dex cuz im on my phone and I need the set to soft-reset correctly.

Only the Cro-Cune set?

Or can I drop RestTalk for more coverage?
Assuming this is for OU, most good Suicune sets will run Bold regardless, as the Roar + CM set would run the same nature and EVs. Only set I've seen on the Dex with a different Nature is a more offensive Modest set in UU.

I didin't mean to create an offensive Suicune lol(Manaphy is lot better for offensive), I just wanted to know if was viable to drop RestTalk because i hate to rely on luck to hit.

Anyway, thanks!

yeah you can drop it for scald/cm/roar/rest but you're a sitting duck for 2 turns.

The set works though and is good for shutting down SubCM Keldeo / Reuniclus / Unaware CM Clef etc
