Hello there. Welcome to my RMT. As you already know, this is built around Mega Alakazam and right now metagame is probably as favorable as it can get for Mega Zam. Also ORAS OU is coming to an end and will probably be like this forever, so a good time to post a team :toast:.
I also laddered uptill 1799 Elo with a decent GXE of ~84 [
proof], so theres that. Couldn't play much later due to time limitations.
Here' a good soundtrack that'll please yer ears as you read.
Play it while reading :]

So starting off with Zam I wanted to make a hazard stacking team and wanted a mon wth both spikes and rocks as the lead. Skarmory seemed best fit for this role.

So now its pretty obvious that I need something to abuse Defog, so Bisharp.
065-mega.png
227.png
625.png

At this stage my team was pretty weak to Bisharp itself so Keldeo seems the best fit mon here.

Now I was pretty weak to bird-spam and also needed something for MSableye, so I added Rotom-W and Azumarill.

227.png

Skarmory (M) @ Custap Berry
Ability: Sturdy
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Spikes
- Stealth Rock
- Taunt
- Brave Bird

Description: So Skarmory is the suicide lead and is this is a pretty standard set for a HO team.It servers only one purpose: get rocks and spikes up. Taunt prevent some SR users. Maximum speed EVs to be as fast as possible and rest dumped into HP. Custap helps to get a extra layer of spikes or weaken the mon with BB.
The EVs can be changed to 252 HP and 252 Spe with 0 IVs in HP and Def to help get into Custap range easier. Suggested by Gilbertosaurus

bisharp.gif
625.png

Bisharp (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Defiant
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Sucker Punch
- Knock Off
- Iron Head

Description: Skarmory sets and rocks and Bisharp abuses hazard removal getting boosts that can sometimes end games early. Bisharp plays and important role in the team, bringing a strong priority along with perhaps the best move of Gen 6, Knock Off. This is my only reliable answer to a well played Clefable so one needs to be careful vs clef.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

azumarill.gif
184.png

Azumarill (F) @ Choice Band
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 172 HP / 252 Atk / 84 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Play Rough
- Waterfall
- Aqua Jet
- Knock Off

Description: Choice Banded Azumarill brings alot of power to the team, helping to patch up the weakness to Mega Sableye is a valuable member of the squad. Not only that it also brings a good priority for the team and can clean up by itself if certain mons on opposing team is weakened.
645-therian.png
645-therian.gif
645-therian.png

Away (Landorus-Therian) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- U-turn
- Knock Off
- Stone Edge
Scarf Lando maintains the offensive nature of the team as well helping to check some fast electric mons which the team and also birds. Suggested by oml it's too ez
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
479-wash.png
rotom-wash.gif
479-wash.png

Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers

Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Will-O-Wisp
- Hydro Pump
- Volt Switch
- Pain Split

Description: Rotom-W is just here as a bird-check and help with slow Volt Switches. It can decently check most physical attackers and cripple them with Wil-O-Wisp. Rotom-W also handles Azumarill and Slow Mega Scizor which are big threats to the team.
485.png
485.gif
485.png

Heatran @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 60 HP / 196 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Magma Storm
- Earth Power
- Taunt
- Will-O-Wisp
Heatran helps vs stall and Serp. Also vs Malt and Zard X if they lack EQ.Suggested by oml its to ez

647.png
keldeo-resolute.gif
647.png

Keldeo @ Choice Specs
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Scald
- Hydro Pump
- Secret Sword
- Hidden Power [Electric]

Description: Keldeo patches up the Bisharp weakness of the team, which is huge and also Mega Scizor to some extent. Secret Sword hits most things which can the other members of the team like Ferrothorn, Heatran for good damage KOing the later.HP Electric in the last slow helps to get past Slowbro, Azumarill and sometimes Starmie easier. A scarf can be also used but is redundant as the team has good priority and Mega Alakazam.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

065-mega.png
alakazam-mega.gif
065-mega.png

Alakazam-Mega @ Alakazite
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Psychic
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast
- Encore/Calm Mind/Taunt

Description: Mega Alakazam has an awesome speed tier, outspeeding the entire unboosted metagame and hits af. If rocks and spikes are up with Zam checks removed and no luck involved with Focus Blast, Mega Zam can clean house. Zam brings a lot for the team. It acts as a check to Mega Venusaur which can potentially solo the team. Zam also has quite a few utility options for the last slot, Encore is preferred. CM and Taunt can be used as well.
If stall breaker tran is used, then Dazzling Gleam can be considered in the last slot aswell

The team was alot of fun to use and it certainly has room for improvement. So any feedback is appreciated :]

334-mega.png
006-mega-x.png
Both of them are big threats to the team, Altaria can be sometimes handled if Zam has already Mega'd but Zard X can snowball if played badly against.
642.png
Yeah this thing is a threat, something dies everytime it comes in.
497.png
Sub Serp can be very problematic for the team if 50/50s are lost.

Yo man nice team! I've only got a few small suggestions.
  • Skarmory- Running HP and defensive investment is counter productive as you have a lower chance of falling into custap range after an attack. I would suggest running max speed and attack and maybe 0 Def and SpDed IVs too so as to keep the team in the spirit of HO. Otherwise going the soecially defensive route is an option as you have no solid answer to mega gardevoir or offensive fairies in general.
  • Bisharp- I prefer jolly but it's whatever floats your goat.
  • Alakazam- Consider running sub every once in a while. Many Zam sweeps are cut off prematurely by strong priority from the likes of tflame mega pinsir, mega metagross etc.. Setting up a sub would allow you to easily take a brave bird or bullet punch and proceed cleaning off the opposing team. As an added bonus you can evade status vs stall and bisharps sucker punch to (hopefully) ko it with focus blast afterwards.
That's it! Hope you consider and like these small changes :]

Sick HO my dude. I will try to make my changes to your team to help with HO.

First i see how u mentioned serperior in your threat list. I also noticed how stall can be a big problem for you as you don't have a stall breaker. Also fairy types might trouble you as ur fairy resist is your hazard stacker so it cant really do much back. This is why i suggest stallbreaking heatran over rotom-w. This is an HO team and rotom-w losses momentum and switch ins for things like azumarill aren't needed since your trying to go all for the offense route. Heatran can deal with stall with its magma storm/taunt, it can help your threatlist of serperior and even mega-altaria/mega-charizard x if they don't carry earthquake. This also helps vs mega sableye's so u can absorb their wil o wisp cause otherwise mega sab is free to spam wilo

Another thing i noticed is that eletric types threaten this team a lot as you dont have an electric immunity/resist. This is why i suggest scarf Landorus over Azumarill. Landorus will still check mons like charizard-x but can also help u versus electric types as you are immune to the electric attack. This also helps you vs some earthquake spammers like mold breaker excadrill since landorous is a ground immunity.

Thanks for the rate! Both of your suggestions seem solid specially Lando as it helps with the fast electrics. Added your mons to the OP :)

I agree with oml it's too ez s rate primarily the stallbreaker Heatran suggestion. Still checks birds, checks grasses, and gives you a dedicated stall beater. I think you could consider Solar Beam since bulky waters look annoying, but I do think Earth Power is mandatory so I would run it over Will-O-Wisp.

With a dedicated stallbreaker added, I think the last slot on Alakazam is freed up to some degree. I would suggest Dazzling Gleam since this lets you lure Mega Sableye and gives you a more reliable move against stuff like Weavile or Kyurem-Black.

I am not sure I entirely agree with Scarf Landorus-T although I would admit it has merits. I do feel there is still a weakness to pokemon like Suicune and Slowbro and Thundurus isn't much easier to switch into, but a ground immunity is kind of important.

I agree that things like Thundy are still hard to switch into but I'm running offense anyway and Landorus helps to take it out without something getting para'd or taking a ton of damage so definitely worth running and yeah bulky waters like mega bro and suicune are still a big threat and the best I can do now is taunt with zam.

Also added dazzling gleam as a 4th slot move for zam if running tran.
