Yeah :) i would say if you have a more offensively inclined playstyle pick talonflame, and if you want to check xerneas/smeargle better go for crobat :)
I'm toying around with Psynergy 's xern+ray team, which has LO ray, xern, weavile, lando, talonflame, and amoonguss. I put a sash on the weavile. Weavile and talonflame don't have protect, and I'm not sure what lando's item or moveset was. I'm not terribly comfortable with having only three mons with protect, especially since every team is carrying one or two ice moves.
Lum is also a great idea.
I already have a Mega Mawile and Primal Groudon for Xerneas. Would Talonflame be better in my team, also possibly getting Sun boosts?Yeah :) i would say if you have a more offensively inclined playstyle pick talonflame, and if you want to check xerneas/smeargle better go for crobat :)
That is what I have Cresselia for :D I'm not running Trick Room so I hope to catch some people off guard. If you would prefer it to crobat then yes :) 2 checks to a common threat is ample
However, most xerneas are partnered with groudon or kyogre, and these will try counter your mawile/groudon, so make sure you have a way to deal with that (for example weather support e.g skill swap)
This is all great advice but I lost you where you said that Groudon and Mawile make Cresselia more susceptible to Taunt? Is it because they are attackers? Also I'll be sure to look into Semi TR. so should TR go back onto Cresselia?Yes cresselia is definitely going to get taunted regardless of whether you are running TR or not (and it's definitely more susceptible to taunt without mental herb), especially since you have both groudon/mawile on the team
A tailroom or Semi-TR team might be a good option:
Most semi tr teams run a similar framework
2 Slow Mons (could be cresselia/groudon)
2 Medium speed mons (mawile/____)
1-2 Fast Mons (______)
1 Support (Tailwind)
no worries i've got it covered/pm Draconid997 I'm not sure if I'm doing this right :/
Yes it is. It was a Dream Ball Aegislash not Dive.Sorry for the question,is it possible To have a fletching in a luxury ball? Hope is not like dive ball aegislash :/

Does Desolate Land cancel out Hidden Power Water?
In my opinion, Thundurus performs a different role then Talonflame and Crobat, by using a different form of speed control, so for that decision it depends on Thunder Wave vs. Tailwind. In terms of Talonflame and Crobat, they perform slightly different roles. Talonflame provides more offensive presence, especially late game when Super Fangs aren't doing much, whereas Crobat is bulkier. So basically it depends on whether you prefer the extra bulk or extra power, it comes down to personal preference much of the time.I'm going to try to explain this as best as I can. Say you have a Groudon, Yveltal, M-Mawile, M-Kangaskhan (Double Megas), and Ferrothorn. And you can't decide between Crobat, Talonflame, or Thundurus for the last Pokemon. All of these three perform pretty similar roles, so try to look more at typing and abilities. Which Pokemon would you pick?

Yes I think Crobat and Talonflame are equally good at stopping smeargle. The thing with Role Play on Thundurus is that it loses Prankster, and Ferrothorn is usually already a good RayOgre check. If you're worried about smeargles, I'd say crobat is the best of the three. Talonflame can run taunt as well. I don't think thundurus is as good for that because smeargle is often paired with a quick guard user.
On the other hand, thundurus helps more against kyogres and all of the birds flying around. Thundy can also have role play to help you with the weather.
