Round 6:​

The team, weary though they may be, decide to go on the offensive against the sea serpent. Goumon manages to score a lucky paralysis on Gyarados, which provokes a retaliatory slam attack. Regardless, the team continues attacking, even as Syclant continues to whittle their health down.

The paralysis really helps the team, as they are able to defeat Gyarados before Laxus takes any damage. This prompts the Syclant to end its whirlwind and continue attacking the party. The team is now on the final stretch, as Syclant seems especially frantic now. However, the team is slowly losing its will to fight on, and the sun has become blanketed by clouds...

Round 7:​

As the team continues their onslaught, the Syclant finds itself desperate. It attacks Elfman with sharp stones, only to see them not do enough. The flames come onto Syclant, and at first the team thinks that they have won. Suddenly though, out of the flames Syclant, driven to a bloodied fury, shoots a series of Pin Missiles that leave a sizable dent into Elfman. However, with the Sun up, the team is able to launch one last flurry of flames that incinerates the Syclant! In its final breath, you hear the icy bug say:
