Wishes do come true (vor 4 Tagen is German for "four days ago")

I'm actually pretty glad Cubone is likely staying Ground-type. It gives Marowak access to its signature Bone Club and Bonemerang at least!

Raichu is eh. Really liking Wishiwashi though, I may use it. Grass/Fairy luminescent fungus is awesome.

I think it's safe to assume that we know too little about new mons to speculate how well they'll perform both in-game and competitive-wise. Not only we know them superficially, but we don't even know if Su/Mo will introduce significant changes that could radically transform their potential. Alolan Raichu isn't an exception: do we know if its typing will have the same set of weaknesses, resistances and effectiveness? While it's likely, we really don't. Do we know if terrains will be easier to set in 7th gen? Partly yes, because of Electric Surge, but we don't know how many setters we'll have except Tapu Koko, we don't even know if there'll be an item to prolong terrain effects. Do we know A-Raichu's movepool? It could be similar to today's Raichu, but it could also be radically different: it could be better or worse, it could have better coverage, new powerful STABs or overall useful moves, or it could get nothing of it. Do we know if it'll has other abilities? It could easily have at least an hidden one. The games could be filled with pokémon weak to electric and/or psychic attacks, or the competitive scene could see the arise of new threats weak to this combo. We don't even know its stats, except for HP and maybe speed (base 110 at least I think, it's faster than Gengar in the trailer... We don't know anything about their IVs/EVs, but it's pretty safe to assume that it will maintain its original base speed stat, or get a little buff), what if it gets something like base 150 on one offense? Not that I find it likely, but it's hard to predict anyway. All this just to say: I know that speculating is fun, but getting into harsh discussions about it it's quite pointless.

Something of note that comes from the website:

Innards Out - When the user faints, it deals damage equal to how much HP it had before fainting.

It's Aftermath on steroids. As an "average" reference, a Diglett (Lowest non-hardcoded HP) would deal almost 50% to a Mew that OHKOes it, provided both are at Level 100, 31 IVs and 0 EVs on HP.

That's both brutal and disgustingly broken. Better have hazards up because that shit sounds like you will just go Thundurus and sack yourself to kill off the sweeper.

So the only problem with this is that it discourages OHKOing it. Or to be a bit more careful. I can actually see sending one out just to stop a sweep if you really are that desperate.

1. We don't even know if Electric Terrain will be good yet. A single Pokémon - which shares it's main typing with Raichu - has the setter ability, a single Pokémon revealed so far (this Raichu) has an ability that benefits from it, and we don't even know if there'll be an item that extends it. For all we know it could be as shitty as hail.

That hasn't stopped rain teams from still being effective despite all being at least part water type. Hail's main problem is that there aren't any good abilities to take advantage of the weather besides a bit of evasion and a small HP restore each turn. Sun's issue is that the speed boosting ability is exclusive to pokemon who can't take advantage of the increased fire damage that sun gives.

3. The last time Terrakion was relevant was pre-bank XY
Banded terrakion is a powerful threat in OU, and terrakion itself shows up fairly often in doubles and triples.

Let's not forget about Beauty Nova, the Transgender trainer in XY Battle Maison.

Wasn't that something that was added by NoA's localisation team?

A fire-type swift?

More Alola formes, quite like these ones.

Dark Meowth is...interesting. Bite gets a Technician boost.
Marowak looks really cool, and Ghost / Fire is solid typing - 2 immunitites (3 counting Lightning Rod) and 6 resistances is pretty impressive. It also used this weird new move that hit Haunter - a new Ghost type move?
Raichu - Electric / Psychic is pretty good offensively, and its new ability's pretty cool. Shame it can't (at the moment) set Electric Terrain itself, as Cosplay Pikachu can't evolve.

As for Team Skull, I was hoping GF would move away from villainous teams in this one, but their theme is great. Just give them decent motives this time - destroying everything, expanding the sea and making a new galaxy were pretty damn stupid.

Marowak's ghost typing appears to be due to living so closely together with its group giving it a kind of 6th sense... But shouldn't that be Psychic-typing?

Also: Guzma appears to be the kind of person Albert warned Bruce about: "Some people just want to watch the world burn Master Wayne." Meaning odds are the evil team's goal being wanton destruction seem more likely. Either that or he just likes referring to himself as "destruction in human form" because it's edgy. So... Either he is The Joker or Reaper or a combination of the two.

It's like a mix between Aftermath and Mirror Coat/Counter. Considering that Pyukumuk likely has good HP (85-102 base HP range), and sweepers are generally lower in HP, this is gonna be interesting. It still looks like a small niche at most, but I'm really curious about it.

Sounds like a 2-5 turns fire multi-attack. This, plus bonemerang/EQ and likely shadow sneak... Nice premises.

Here's our new overlord of the seas, look at this from the official site:

Wishiwashi (School form): Wishiwashi is called the demon of the sea because of its terrifying School Form! Even Gyarados flee from Wishiwashi’s School Form! Even Speedwagon is afraid!

A-Marowak: Light both ends of the stick on fire by rubbing them against their foreheads. (Now we know why it has that dark thing on the head.) We now know why it is Fire type, because of the grass types on Alola.

A-meowth: The once-rare Alolan Meowth became feral when the monarchy was destroyed, and they have now become regular Pokémon, seen as commonly in the Alola region as elsewhere. (Coup d'etat in Alola?!)

Pyukumuku's Innards Out ability sounds incredibly OP. So what happens is the opponent takes damage equal to the health Pyukumuku had before KOing it. So if my opponent's Talonflame KOed my Pyukumuku when it had 300 HP, then Talonflame takes 300 damage. DO YOU UNDERSTAND HOW BIG A DEAL THIS IS!?

You have to whittle down a LOT of its health before KOing it, since the damage it deals is based on its remaining health. So if Pyukumuku comes in on hazards a few times then it's no big deal, but that won't stop it from acting as the ultimate check to every offensive Pokemon in the game. You can simply switch your Pokemon out, but that gives Pyukumuku a free Toxic or whatever moves it'll get, making it even more threatening. You can even switch Pyukumuku directly in and go all kamikaze on whatever attcks it. Setup sweepers, Choice item users, Outrage users, etc... are going to have hell against this thing, making it an absolute necessity to stall teams.

The only way this won't be incredibly OP is if it has Shuckle's stats where it has insane defenses and low HP, but it would still be great for softening something up to make revenge killing a lot easier. If this thing has any real HP, then it's going to be one of the most influential forces in the entire game, regardless of what tier it winds up in. I'm not asking for a ban or anything ridiculous like that; the game isn't even out yet. I'm just saying once Pyukumuku starts getting usage, it's gonna hit the metagame harder than the Fairy typing ever did. Prepare yourselves, guys.
