Pokemon Showdown's Damage Calculator uses an incorrect modifier for Tough Claws; it uses 30% boost instead of 33% boost. Here is what it lists for my example:

252 Atk Tough Claws Mega Charizard X Flare Blitz vs. 172 HP / 0 Def Azumarill: 153-181 (39.8 - 47.1%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

(153, 156, 157, 159, 161, 162, 165, 166, 168, 170, 171, 174, 175, 177, 179, 181)

252 Atk Life Orb Mega Charizard X Flare Blitz vs. 172 HP / 0 Def Azumarill: 153-181 (39.8 - 47.1%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

(153, 155, 156, 159, 160, 162, 164, 166, 168, 169, 172, 173, 175, 177, 179, 181)

Notice how Tough Claws boost is similar to Life Orb boost. Here is what it should be:

252 Atk Tough Claws Mega Charizard X Flare Blitz vs. 172 HP / 0 Def Azumarill: 156 - 185 (40.6% - 48.1%) -- 67.2% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock

(156, 159, 160, 162, 164, 166, 168, 170, 171, 174, 175, 177, 179, 181, 183, 185)

That is what Tough Claws does. Unlike Adaptability, it only provides a 30% boost.

Ok so Veekun, Smogon, Bulbapedia, and Serebii all say Tough Claws is a 33% boost:

http://veekun.com/dex/abilities/tough claws

http://www.smogon.com/dex/xy/abilities/tough_claws/

http://www.serebii.net/abilitydex/toughclaws.shtml

http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Tough_Claws_(Ability)

So either these 4 websites are wrong or Showdown's calculator is wrong.

EDIT: Nugget Bridge's calculator uses Tough Claw's boost as 4/3 instead of a flat 33%:

252 Atk Tough Claws Mega Charizard X Flare Blitz vs. 172 HP / 0 Def Azumarill: 157-186 (40.8 - 48.4%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
(157, 159, 161, 163, 165, 167, 168, 171, 172, 174, 176, 178, 180, 182, 183, 186)

Round works incorrectly on Smogon (I guess it's more fun this way though :D). Tested the same team on a live ORAS game, Aurorus is getting outsped when using Round after my other pokemon in ORAS.

Extremely slow speed on Aurorus as well.

tobecontinued (Aurorus) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Refrigerate
EVs: 128 HP / 124 Def / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 0 Spe
- Round
- Freeze-Dry
- Earth Power
- Frost Breath

https://my.mixtape.moe/jbeyxx.html

The damage scaling works correctly though :)

60 > 120 > 240

Not much stands up to a 312 power move with choice specs. :)

Yes, exactly.
Here's the damage range test I did a few years ago:
Tough Claws 0x1547
(61, 61, 62, 63, 64, 64, 65, 66, 66, 67, 68, 69, 69, 70, 71, 72)

Tough Claws 0x1555
(62, 62, 63, 64, 64, 65, 66, 67, 67, 68, 69, 70, 70, 71, 72, 73)

Tough Claws 0x14CD
(60, 61, 61, 62, 63, 63, 64, 65, 66, 66, 67, 68, 68, 69, 70, 71)
62, 67, 62, 69, 63, 67, 62, 67, 60, 66, 65, 67, 67, 68, 61, 69, 68, 69, 69, 67, 62, 61, 68, 66, 61, 70, 62, 68, 68, 65, 61, 65, 68, 64, 70, 61, 70, 60, 69, 67, 61, 66, 67, 64, 68, 70, 60, 68, 63, 63, 61, 68, 69, 70, 65, 62, 68, 63, 63, 66, 71
As you can see, those rolls line up perfectly with the 0x14CD modifier. 0x14CD is also what most "1.3x" modifiers are, except Life Orb which is 0x14CC for some reason. 0x1547 is Dark/Fairy Aura (~1.33x) and 0x1555 is ~1.333x, which nothing uses but I thought it was worth checking anyway. This also happened to be independently verified several months later by Japanese testers.

In-game, do you send them out in the same positions? If not, which positions are the three Pokemon in when Aurorus gets "outsped"? What's the turn order when this happens (and in what position is the Pokemon "outspeeding" you)? What are your other Pokemon's Speed stats? What are the Speed stats of the opponent's Pokemon (assuming you know, but just the turn order should be enough)? This bug is incredibly annoying since it doesn't happen all the time and I've never gotten it to happen myself, so I have no idea how it happens or why. :(

Did you checked what was your Banette's ability? Banette must have Cursed Body (Dream World/Hidden ability) has its ability for Cotton Guard to be compatible since it gets that move, like you said, from Dream World.

I just tried on PS! and it works.

You're right!
The error said that their was a move that it was not compatible with. Confusing.
Thanks!

Shellder used Ice Shard, which is a priority move, hence Shellder moving before your scarfed Snover. Unless you went for Ice Shard (if it had the move), this is perfectly normal.

Also, 7000th post of this thread. Not bad.
Oh, my bad. I read Icicle Shard as Icicle Spear for w/e reason. Again, sorry

Damage Calculator: Gen 1 Body Slam Pidgeot seems to be back :pirate: (it's not on Smogon's RB Analysis, so I have no idea where it might be coming from)

Using an attacking move with 1 PP remaining vs Pressure users still makes the PP hovercount show -1

Weird bug showing the team sprites (idk what else to call them) involving Zoroark:
qkrqPpR.png

and it was a rated Random Battle, so species clause was active.
Happens at T36 here: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/randombattle-430085463
(no, I wasn't using any custom styles, etc)

In Mix and Mega, Metagrossite does not seem to increase Emboar's weight. Against (Choice Scarf) Terrakion (260 kg), the base damage for Heat Crash and Heavy Slam were both still displayed as 40, when they should have been 60 for a 150+392.9 kg Emboar.

You mean inside the client?

Try to compare the actual damage. OMs don't modify the client, so any mouse overs or other info generated by the client may not be updated or behave a bit differently from what you'd expect.

There seems to be a bug which irks me greatly. In the Doubles OU, whenever I utilise Emolga (Electric/Flying) and Palpitoad (Water/Ground), this glitch appears..

When Palpitoad uses Bulldoze, 50% of the time, Emolga will be damaged eventhough there is no Smack Down/Gravity in effect. Please fix this conundrum, since it may be abysmal for some players using a similar strategy.

Ran a quick test and confirmed that the actual damage was being calculated correctly. Thank you for your answer.

Same positions. Same IVs. I think in ORAS they removed the priority for Round. I believe Smogon is still giving it priority (On Smogon my extremely slow pokemon will move before the opponents.)

When Palpitoad uses Bulldoze, 50% of the time, Emolga will be damaged
Please provide a replay for this report

Edit: Most likely, the Emolga was using roost. This move removes a pokémon's flying type until end of turn.

I'm apparently locked out of any registered account.
Even if i enter a account like: sakjhdiodhqio , as soon as i register it i get kicked out of the account with a message saying the password is wrong, even when i put the password i just registered it with.
Same text appears when i try to enter in one of my own accounts, and i checked the password , even turned the password box into text to check, and it still says it is wrong.

HI people i need help when i started playing thi game every nickname i put it was displaying in battles and all....i leaved the game for some months now im back and wont display anymore my nicknames i put it just show pokemons names not my nickname....i cleaned cookies of google chrokme and still same i cant fix it why? any solutions please?

Hi! I noticed a small bug while playing Pokémon Platinum. When Candice used Hail, then sent Abomasnow, Snow Warning overrided the current Hail to set a permanent one. I myself checked it vs a wild Pokémon to confirm the way it works.

On the simulator, as shown in this battle, we use the new gen mechanic. But this is innacurate on the fourth gen, even if it's rather (very) irrelevant in every metagame.

If anyone can check in gen 5 that would be awesome, because that's where it would be relevant :o

Yeah it's like that in every gen permanent weather exists. I could have sworn it was implemented properly already since I have logs of me discussing this exact thing with someone just before XY came out. I guess I was just talking about in-game as usual, thanks for bringing it up again! I'll look into it soon™.

I have now repeatedly experienced major speed shenanigans, as in the slower pokemon attacking first. Here are a view examples, in all cases, no tailwind/trick room/weather was up, no pokemon had status changes.
1. Feraligator w/leftovers (165 max spe) vs Groudon (174 spe); Feraligator attacks first using waterfall
2. Rotom-freeze w/air balloon (190 max spe) vs Darkrai (225 spe); rotem attacks first using thunderbolt
3.Quagsire w/ choice scarf (98 max spe) vs arcanine (191 spe); Quagsire attacks first using earthquake
This really fucked up some games and it shouldn't happen.

did you use any priority lowering moves? some moves have a negative priority, meaning that they usually go last. examples include trick room and roar, but you can use /dt move on pokemon showdown to see the moves priority
