Sooooooo guys, I noticed something weird about the "Z-move" at the end of the trailer.
So of the Z-moves we seen, they all generally follow the same formula. Generally, Z-moves have the trainer do an adorable little pose corresponding to the type of Z-move and then this yellow aura appears around the trainer and then transfers to the Pokemon. The Pokemon gains a yellow aura and then the Z-move symbol appears. The only exception to this formula prior to this trailer was Snorlax. The only thing that differed though was instead of the Z-move symbol it cut to scene with Snorlax's srs bnss face and we didn't see the transfer of yellow aura, I am assuming because the trainer is standing on Snorlax. So while different it follows the same /general/ formula.
You can see the process I described in the
trailer
and You can Snorlax Z-move
here
Alright, so we great, having said that let's take a look at the last "Z-Move" the trailer shows.
Here
(It is pretty quick, so if you can somewhat slow it down, it may be beneficial.)
Not only is this "Z-move" suspiciously set apart from the others, it doesn't follow the general trend. There is no yellow aura until the end of the animation and the Z-symbol appears on the TRAINER instead of the POKEMON as per usual. So I stopped to look at for a while and then noticed something even stranger. That ending pose was super familiar.
Now watch
this and focus on the trainer
now compare it to the "Z-move" at the end of the trailer.
The last "Z-move" shares the same pose as Mega Evolution in XY.
While the starting animations are definitely different, the end pose is the pretty much exactly the same.
Now, I'm not saying this proves Megas or Z-forms or any of that crap. I'm just pointing out this is pretty suspicious!
