    Yeah, Red and Green were the paired version, Blue was third, Yellow was fourth. JP Blue is where we got RB's engine and graphics and Int Blue has its available Pokémon from Green. Still, without a pointless third version in both game's cases, it's not really favoritism towards Charizard.

    That's an interesting concept! Honestly if I had that mentality it would have been nice for platinum. xD

    It's going to be really cool using a starter who's been with me for most of my life (Infernape from platinum) competitively. I will say, I've viewed a breed version of Chimchar or any other Pokemon as an "incarnation."

    Like it's an Infernape/Latios/whatever that in a previous life was the same that I've used throughout my journey. Makes me like whatever Pokemon I'm using a lot.

    If you seek a name for salandit why not Alvarezi, it's the name of the heloderma horridum subspecies that dwells in the zone I live, you can often see them wrestling each other or hissing to foxes near the roads.
