It's not MTG Territory until two of the three most powerful ones get burned to death or the most powerful one can twist any liking thing into her image and she gets sealed in the moon... Now I want an UB-666 Emrakul...The Island Guardians may have had a history with the Ultra Beasts... Maybe they, along with Solgaleo/Lunala, sealed them away? (Getting into MTG territory there.)
Mosquito beast's pecker is literally hard as diamond
I know we've all somewhat written off the early rumors about synchro-evolution, but with the UBs looking so much like in game characters does anyone see them as a potential synchro like mechanic?
man an unwinnable battle.
rest in peace nuzlockes man. Doubt they'll do that because I mean...they know about Nuzlockes, right?
Why the hell is Expansion renamed to Absorption? Expansion is already in English!
Because of boob expansion? Or what?
I think tier talk is premature at the moment. Usage in tiers are affected by multiple factors and until the games actually come out, there's no knowing which pokemon will fit in what tier for sure. Prediction is fun, and I understand the excitement, but it just really is too hard to genuinely predict anything while the game isn't out yet.We have seen so far a lot of mons already. Whats your prediction on tiers? I know it's too early, but I think it's fun to speculate.
Personally I believe this gen Electric and Ground will dominate the meta.
While Fairy/Rock be on almost EVERY team so probably all Steel mons will move up a category as well.
Well, we do have a Moon version...It's not MTG Territory until two of the three most powerful ones get burned to death or the most powerful one can twist any liking thing into her image and she gets sealed in the moon... Now I want an UB-666 Emrakul...
They probably won't care about Nuzlockes... But tbh I'm sure that if there is an unwinnable battle, that will be an exception to the rule for a Nuzlocke Challenge.man an unwinnable battle.

Pretty much this. You can theorize how useful something can be all day, but in the end we just don't have enough data (plus it's in a vacuum) to draw any real conclusions. That will come in the weeks after Sun/Moon launches.I think tier talk is premature at the moment. Not to mention that OI isn't a place for competitive discussion. It's happened here and there (like with z-moves), but once again, I just think tier prediction is a bit much.

Well, that would require the use of our cover legend's signature moves then.inb4 A Sturdy Shedinja-like UB shows up (Thinking about Indestructible creatures) :P
But yeah, with the hint of UB being pretty much eldritch beings, literally anything can happen. It shows some potential.

Yeah, it's been mentioned. My money is on that not happening, though. I think the starters' "secret" will be unique Z-Moves.Has anyone explored the idea that the starters evolutions are version exclusive or Day/Night exclusive?
Just because they got their own Z-Move doesn't mean they still can't use the generic Z-Moves. Just switch the crystal they're holding.Weren't the starters shown using Bloom Doom / Inferno Overdrive / Hydro Vortex? I don't think their secret would be exclusive Z-Moves is we've already seen them use Z-Moves...
