SPOILERS! Pokemon Sun and Moon Full Game Datamine General Discussion Thread

I had people ask me to test random stuff. I'll post results:

Liquid Voice does not buff damaging sound moves.

I don't even know how to trigger Adrenaline Orb's speed boost. It's not based on Atk drop, lower level, or low health.

Revelation Dance is ALWAYS the user's Type 1.

Emergency Exit is a U-Turn style move that triggers immediately when you drop below 50%. If you haven't attacked yet, you switch out anyways and miss your attacking turn.

Nothing has been changed from ORAS to SM for:
Protean
Normalize
Spiky Shield

Does immediately below 50% mean you can be hit by a move that should deal 75% but switch out at just over 50% before taking full damage? Or do you take full damage then switch?

Saw this on Neogaf, thought i should share it with you guys:

It's an image confirmation of Hidden Abilities availability in-game (just as Lascelle told me)

This is awesome :)
Yessssss. I hope this doesn't mean that we'll have to wait on HA Starters, though, seeing as
To be fair this bottle cap thing opens up some previously illegal HP type + IV combinations like HP Fire you always need an Even Speed IV so you could never have max speed + HP Fire you'd be 1 point under but now you can.
Well, that changes things. A lot, actually. I mean, I wish we got the Ability to actually adjust IV's, but I can work with this.

Well, that thing about Bottle Cap not actually changing IVs is a huge bummer for breeding. We'll still have to gamble to get an initial parent with good IVs instead of making one ourselves...

I can guess it makes sense due to Hidden Power, but they could have made an exception with that move and that move only.

But if they are really cheap to get, then I guess the only problem is getting the right Hidden Power type.

So now we don't need to worry about IVs either. Now we can just soft reset for Nature and Hidden Power for events, legendaries etc.

Time for me to dust off my HeartGold and get HP Fire Timid Latios, then teach it Defog in Platinum, then transfer. It's time!

regarding the burn nerf, the only video I've seen with it in action was with the status on a frillish...has it been tested on non water-types? Maybe they just take less damage from burn now and the rest of the types take the same amount of damage, kinda like how grass-types got that powder move immunity in gen VI etc. It would make sense.

holding onto hope that my precious sabae wasn't nerfed :c

Yeah, all water type needs is a buff at this point...not.

And my shiny HP Fire Latios just crapped himself.

Is there any twerk to the hidden power system, other than battle caps don't change the hidden power type ?

Sun: Solgaleo, UB02-Absorption, UB04-Blade, Lycanroc Midday, Turtonator, Passimian, A-Ninetales, Garchomp, Goodra, Rampardos, Carracosta, Braviary, Whimsicott.
Moon: Lunala, UB02-Beauty, UB04-Blaster, Lycanroc Midnight, Drampa, Oranguru, A-Sandslash, Metagross, Flygon, Bastiodon, Archeops, Mandibuzz, Lilligant.
Any confirmation on Vanilluxe? It's not in the wild encounter list for Moon, either - so I assumed it was exclusive to Sun but perhaps you simply find one at an ice cream shop or something.

Gigalith makes the most sense for a Moon-exclusive equivalent seeing how they're both three-evolution monotypes that got new abilities tacked on this gen.

I have a feeling that these will be the first Pokemon games to have DLC content...i mean, Kalos left us with many unexplained points (The power plant, the ghost girl, etc.), Hoenn gave us the hint of a future Battle Frontier and (apparently) Alola is giving many Kanto references, and i don't think is just about the whole 20th anniversary thing.

Gamefreak has the opportunity to make something like this in these games, i really hope it becomes true...but well, it's Gamefreak (you know what i mean, about expectations). Only time will tell

XY didn't get DLC despite how easy it would be. Surely there's another 40 pokemon waiting in the DLC wings. Surely all those ~mysteries~ will be added in later with explanations.
XY didn't get the ORAS megas as an update.
ORAS never got DLC despite how "obvious" it would be. Surely the battle frontier references are secret teases for DLC.

So no, something tells me that there won't be any DLC here, or at least certainly not on the level of A New Region and a battle frontier and all that jazz. It's the 20th anniversary and the entire prevailing point has been a celebration of the Kanto games. Kanto gets referenced all the time regardless.
A reference is just a reference sometimes.

No idea how would work between Male and Female (I'm assuming that the female gets prefference like in gen 6) or if you want to pass down Ditto balls
One specific case I would especially like to know is regular male x cherish/master female
