Anyone know a good filler move for Snorlax? I currently have Brick Break/Lick/Body Slam/Work Up. I want to get rid of Lick, and need a temporary replacement until I get Crunch or something.

are the ultra beast natures/IVs set the first time you encounter them? as in, if you KO them, will they have a different nature the next time you encounter them?

Each encounter is generated individually, I'm pretty sure. The only Pokemon this isn't true for are pre-BW2 roamers.

We don't have the odds on pickup hauls yet, right? Because I've been knocking out early-game 'mons with a team of 5-6 Meowth since before Wednesday and I'm still destiny knotless.

Maybe it was a mistake to leave the yarn-collecting to a bunch of cats.

Do the visiting wild Pokemon from Poke Pelago have anything special or they are just like any other wild Pokemon you can encounter?

So I was SOS chaining Murkrow... and a shiny popped up! Unfortunately no Prankster (Insomnia kek), but it is Jolly and has perfect Attack/Def IVs... so I thought, maybe I could Hyper Train it later on for fun. As a Jolly Honchkrow, what kind of stuff can it outspeed? Is it even feasible to use a Jolly Honchkrow?

...I just kinda don't want to waste my first Shiny mon in ages... >_>

I've found tons of shinys through SOS battling however I've been SOSing Cubone. Cubone calls Kangaskhan occasionally does anyone know if this messes with the shiny chaining because I have K.Od like 100+ Cubone/Kanga now and no shiny so far. First time SOSing a Pokemon that can call another species.

It does not mess it up. 100+ is also a small number. I've seen people go much higher than that before finally finding a shiny.

I must have just been lucky then because I've found all mine in the 25-45 region. [1 Ditto, 2 Spearow, 2 Cutifly, 1 Wingul, 1 Caterpie.]

Is hidden power fire the hardest to reset for on legendaries? Been trying with tapu lele for a few days and I keep dancing around ice, dragon, steel, dark and grass

It's impossible, I think. You need all even numbers and legends always get 3 IVs at 31

The defense lowering EV berries aren't version or time exclusive, right? I've been checking the Route 10 berry tree for the past week and have gotten all 4 of the other EV berries, but not a single Grepa or Qualot.

I have moon, got all of them but the HP one. Don't think they are exclusive.

The standard HP Fire spread is 31/30/31/30/31/30. You'll need 3 evens and a correct distribution. It's hard, but not impossible.

I suppose, given that you'd use a bottle cap anyway to disguise the speed stat, and attack doesn't really matter in this case, then you're really looking for 31/any even number/31/30/31/any even number. That's not awful. Although waiting for the 31s to land in the right spots on top of a very specific 30 is, but no worse than most other HP spreads I guess :/

Why wouldn't you also use a bottle cap for Attack and Special Attack? Surely as long as they're odd it's fine (as long as, of course, you have enough bottle caps)
