Anyone know of a good shoddy server

I tried the official server and a few others and it gives me "connection timed out". The metaserver also seems to be down (the servers list is empty).

Or is it a problem with my connection?

What shoddy servers do you people use? Are they working right now?

How does the move persuit work with choice items? (I've heard that it can bypass the restriction? I haven't tested this out))

Yes. The Pokemon with the EXP share gets the amount of EVs it normally would if it had battled. Even if the Pokemon that battled didn't, if the pokemon with EXP Share had Pokerus, it would get double EVs. Macho Brace and the Power Items would probably count, too, if your pokemon could hold two items at once. :P

If a pokemon is caught in a hacked masterball, but is otherwise legit, does it count as hacked? Will that show up on a hack detector?

If I breed a female with a ditto holding an everstone, does the ditto's nature have the 50% chance of being passed?
 
Which movesets would work best for a Cynthia/Shirona theme team? She doesn't have a stealth rock resist, but I don't care. I'm going to stick to the theme...To tell you the truth I wa sinspired by Choutoshio's warstory...I just like the idea of theme teams and I want to see if one like this can work.

In Diamond and Pearl, I've been in several hot-spot EV training guides, and they've all helped me, but when it comes to getting attack points, I'm always stumped.

I'm curious as to where is the best and most efficient place to train for attack EVs, and where do you go to train for them?

Twinleaf City (fish in the pond). Seaking and Gyrados give you 2 EVs each for attack.
