Diddy Kong: Go, Fox!
Fox: HAAAAP!!! (the noise he made when he did Fire Fox)
Wild RAYQUAZA used Dragon Pulse!
Fox used Mirror Coat!
Wild RAYQUAZA takes OVER 9000 damage.
It's super effective!
Wild RAYQUAZA fainted!
Fox gains one bajillion Exp.

LOL....

Woulda made more sense if it was Lugia or a Gyarados, though (due to the lake).

hahaha the fact that rayquaza is there is cool but what the FUCK is he doing there

can't wait to see how the plot works out

rayquaza as a boss is awesome but i can't help but think that something is controlling it...something placed it in that lake and made it attack/become aggressive. i don't think rayquaza would really eat little chimps. Minister? Mewtwo?

I'm thinking it was in the lake because at some point rayquaza and fox were airial and while he crashed on shore Rayquaza was knocked into the lake. No way to know for sure though.

Holy shit that's actually a really good theory. We don't know what happens right before Diddy comes across the Arwing and we know that it was shot down by the Halberd, so it's very possible it could have hit Rayquaza on the way down. Good observation!
 
well, it's kind of a reference to the deoxys movie. Since Rayquaza was disrupted in the same manner there. except they landed at one of the polls instead of DK's back yard. Plus, Sakurai isn't completely oblivious to pokemon lore and such. And it doesn't make much sense for rayquaza to just pop out and attack fox. It had to have been provoked prior to.
 
Oh lawd you made everyone else questioning Rayquaza's presence look like an idiot with that post, especially me.

Goddamnit, Falcon better be tomorrow's update. (or something Fire Emblem-related)
 
DUUUUDE, Rayquaza is so freaking awesome. I was so stoked he was in it. He's going to be an awesome boss *crosses fingers and knocks on wood*.

The Fire Emblem theme is alright. Not too fond of everything being Latin though.. throw in some Japanese! xD'

Hoping tomorrow will be a character bio? Maybe a FE character.. or more stuff on Ike ..
 
The FE theme really should've been in japanese. I dunno about you guys, but whenever I think of FE, I always think of japan, and it's one of the few games that makes me think of that. Mostly because in melee both FE chars only spoke japanese.

But this means that fox gets mirror coat and wish. I dunno if you noticed, but after that turn, fox had no damage. Since he was alone, the only way he could've done that was if he used wish earlier.

(Rayquaza looks freaking sweet in there, btw.)

There is a problem with Pokemon Trainer though, he is always in the background while his pokemon attack, how in the hell he is going to side-scroll on the subspace emissary stages? :<.

Rayquaza looks great, i like that Diddy moves his hands like "i don't want any trouble", i just wonder what happened to DK, i thought Diddy and DK were going to be together all the time after the other video, but now Diddy teams up with Fox...

It's typically assumed that the Pokemon Trainer would run in the background, odd as it may seem. Whatever the method, it will most likely be the same method he uses to escape falling down the Bridge of Eldin when it gets blown up (and if he's unlucky enough to be standing in the area in which the bridge collapses).

...oddly enough, that looks more or less like the height Charizard should normally be in comparison to Pikachu.

Oh, and Fox with a lightsaber is pretty tight as well.
 
Well since the first Smash Bros they super size Pikachu because...well it would be hard to make a character about the size Pikachu is supposed to be (pokedex wise), even on the animated series it looks bigger.
