Moody that role could claim and lead town or something or just die and burn all the info they have lol. The role info isn't all that helpful for just one person anyway.

We have 4 conftown and that

If the announcer thing is a scum/neutral role I don't get how using it on scumtexas then using it to make townlightwolf look bad would be interesting to mafia. We might then mislynch lightwolf and get texas next. Texas was also townread by many day 1 and didn't need to make himself look good imo.
I can see this being a scum role and both texas/lightwolf being town but the best way to check if you're going to lynch either is to go with lightwolf.
Now maybe that's actually a pub faction check and lynching lightwolf is correct.
Either way if you want to lynch one of them why would you not go for lightwolf?

I'd be down for that starting next cycle since it's possible that asek is the person who received all the messages or if not him then someone has to claim it. I'd wait until we're positive asek isn't the messenger receiver first though.
 
Nah but the mail guy isn't doing shit for us besides being conf town since they can produce the info we gave them.

Lynching based on the role info alone without claiming is not solid enough for me, while i believe enough good roles and conf town exist that massclaim currently overloads scum.

Fair point, haruno but what changes about that logic next cycle since that night kill will also be covered?

We're better off hitting LW because it would implicate both of you as opposed to just Texas in my opinion. I can still totally see this as trying to protect a scum buddy or neutral faction.
 
Since people are active, can we discuss who we want to lynch instead of transitioning from pub inspect to talking about claiming. We have mislynched twice and have to step up the early game to not repeat both days with the last second lets not lynch moody lynches. Yes this is a dig at the fact Moody has been saved from two close lynches now.

The biggest problem would be that since this is an open set up then even if say scum claims their roles outright then it's possible that we wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the two so I don't see much point there unless you have a specific thing in mind when we all mass claim on what scum is?

That's easy, if it is asek then we can safely proceed with mass claim next cycle and if asek isn't the messenger and hadn't already claimed by the end of this cycle then fuck them anways

Town would go for texas because he pushed a practically last-minute lynch on a townie, and covered it up with the announcement and a far-fetched claim.
Whereas lightwolf has been pushing for discussions, non-idling, and sound logic.

In contrast, you would go for lightwolf because he's been pushing very hard against you.

I can accept that from your POV it's possible, but disagree that it's probable from a town perspective. There's no need to discuss my POV because "no duh" I'm going to know what I did the last 2 nights.

And of course I'm going to push a texas lynch > a lightwolf lynch.
It's not just about information, it's about "Texas is much more likely to be scum."

If maildude claims, he can at least confirm that I claimed omniguard day 1 as well as note the references I made to omniguarding lightwolf.
Tbh as scum lightwolf could've claimed to be Ascetic or something (which would have been believable) and that would've not had to implicate me. As town, that doesn't work because he doesn't know why actions failed vs him.

Also can most likely confirm asek flips town as I have been persuaded to lynch asek.

The fuck are you on lol. Unfortunately even if you know what you did, the other town don't so going for the option that clears the most amount of people is the optimal choice for town.

If mail claims then you'll have stronger backing but I'd rather wait till we receive that first. If not then it's just as likely that you're lying your ass off. Of course if we lynch Texas and he flips town ten you + LW both go to shit
