Okay, I need some advice for a future wifi team.
I plan on making a SS team, and I have several good SS pokemon (TyraniBoah, Cradily, etc.). However, I lack a Hippowdon. With T-tar, Jirachi, Lucario, Starmie, Swampert, Gengar, and Cradily as my options for the team, assuming standard sets (except for Boah), could this be a successful SS team?
Leading with Boah seems just too risky for me, so I was wondering if I should invest in Hippowdon and other good SS pokemon such as Gliscor and Garchomp. What are your thoughts?
I didnt see an answer on the previous page so I'm quoting to see if anyone can still help me.
I suppose I should also mention I decided upon getting the Sand-hippo, but with him and those 7 pokemon would I be able to construct a good enough SS team?
whats a good phazer for SS teams besides skarmory?
How much attack is needed to OHKO Blissey with Focus Punch when it has about 450 HP?
Blissey will never have 450HP, because it's absolute minimum assuming a 31 IV is 651.
However, against a 252/252 Bold Blissey, you'll need 431 Attk to guarantee a KO. With STAB, you'll need 287.
EDIT: Went over that again, and I guess you mean when she only has 450HP remaining. In which case, you'll need 271 unstabbed attack power to guarantee at least 450 damage on Blissey.
If i care Iron Ball can i hit Flyers and Levitated Pokemon then?
Its crazy but it might just work! Try it out on Shoddy! xDCould such foolishness like this Registeel moveset work?
~Swagger
~Psych Up
~Hammer Arm/Earthquake/Iron Head
~Explosion/Focus Punch if you don't use Hammer Arm
Swagger, and use Psych Up to copy stat changes. Obviously, a number of Pokemon might switch out given the confusion, so prediction is key. Focus Punch could be used over Hammer Arm if you like predicting switches, and of course, there's the possibility of confusion kicking in. Registeel, if given a Def+ nature, can withstands lots of Swagger boosted physical attacks outside of fighting moves and Earthquake.
