Haruno - I don't like him being quiet, he hasn't said anything relative to game besides when he talks about setup from what I can remember, he's not how I thought he would be ( I thought he would've at least taken 1 - 2 pages by now even if it's unrelated to the game ) , a lot of gut feeling , I can't imagine him suddenly popping up in activity if he goes to d2.

Ullar - So far from my pov all he did was in one form or another said I had mental issues even before he got into the game, I don't see him looking a lot at other people and trying to figure out alignment. I don't recall to many of his games so I'm not sure of how his game play is for either alignment.

Asek - You have posted a lot of content imo and I don't like the way you've handled my "reads", yes I know I suck at giving reads because I'm reminded by you every time we've played together. You're in my top 3 not because I scum read you a lot but because I scum read you more than other people. I thought if you flipped scum it would reveal interesting things.

lol

King_ if you want to lynch haruno then vote haruno lol. There's still 2 hours to deadline, far from time to lock in votes

Asek can you find me an example of Haruno seeming to know that King_ will flip town?
At the time of when I voted I didn't see the possibility of people switching the lynch off of me , I'll most likely switch it on to haruno if enough people agree on it

I read Ullar's ISO and honestly I'm on the fence.

On the one hand, I agree that there's not a ton of solving intent on a macro scale. It feels like he's doing legitimate scumhunting wrt Hawkie, but at the expense of the rest of the game. Tunneling one person and manufacturing reads onto them while letting the rest of the game fall by the wayside is definitely something in the scum playbook; the caveat is that it's also in the inexperienced townie's playbook, and I think Ullar's out of practice enough to qualify here.

He doesn't ping me tonally. He strikes me as genuine. But that doesn't really mean a ton.

Haruno's still my favored lynch. I'd go Ullar before I went King but I don't really want to lynch either of them today, I think.

Looking at Knights now.

mob mentality means you're going to have better luck getting people to swap if you swap first, rather than just waiting for other people to do so

plus Asek's not a good lynch. I can kinda see where you're read's coming from? But I disagree with it. I'd rather your vote be somewhere else.

Knights has a good King read but barely has any reads on anyone other than Josh/Jalmont/Texas. It's like he's ignoring half the game and it's really disconcerting.

(and his Pblade read is pretty characteristic of Pblade as both alignments imo, but it's a decent thought)

He strikes me as kind of detached as well? But it's the sort of detached that could either be scum struggling to fake it or relatively uninvested town.

The issue is that some of his reads (the King read and the Pblade read, for example) are the sort of reads that I feel like it would be really hard to fake as scum. He's not doing a ton of solving, but when he is he seems to be using townie thought processes to do so.

I don't think I lynch this today either. I think if he continues to struggle to generate reads on the vast majority of the game we return to this, but I think this resolves itself later and we can make better use of our time today.

At this point in time I'm not gonna risk switching the vote to get stealth voted
there's an hour and a half left

and besides, you're not even voting the top wagon

if you were voting Ullar out of self-preservation, i'd understand. but you're voting for someone who has 2 votes. if you swapped your vote to haruno, haruno would have 2 votes.

there's no reason not to swap to haruno unless you think the asek lynch is going to gain traction (it's not)

if you really want to vote self-pres, vote Ullar, but I don't think it's necessary. I think you should just vote who you think is mafia and swap to self-pres closer to deadline should it become necessary.

oh right i forgot jalmont in my reads post

his thought processes read like town!jalmont in a vacuum but i'm having a hard time remembering that he's itg, which is either a red flag or an indictment of my abilities as a mafia player

the slightest of townleans for now

Walrein / Haruno, Ullar > King_ if it comes down to it. Honestly don't think either ullar or king_ are as good of options as the first two.

i just don't think "townread the whole game" is a good strategy in general and it's why i keep going back to walrein. he hasn't laid down an actual mafia opinion except for this haruno one. (townread aubisio after two posts? k.)

unfortunately for me i have to agree with walrein's analysis on haruno. I disgaree with whoever said (josh?) that this is how haruno always plays? i don't even recall haruno bitching about "blah blah day 1 is useless" or spending an inordinate amount of time on setup speculation. if people don't want to go walrein than i'm fine with haruno.

setup speculation. this is a big scum move. glad no one took the bait.

vote haruno

Honestly think this is better than King_ or Ullar, too much of those two is caught up in them fighting over nothing and I think it's worthwhile to give them some time to actually play and see what happens. I'm not super convinced that one of the two is definite mafia (I don't get that sense) so I don't think either is a great vote today.

Y'all kept pressuring King even though it obviously wasn't working. I got readable content from him by engaging in discussion with him and players put on blinders and cry scum.

I got more reads formed on D1 than I usually do, so I can die satisfied if it comes to that. But I don't want see you guys playing the Kingmeme again and shrugging it off if he flips Town.

Didn't like ad hominemish wagon justification when it was used on players over at Kong, don't like it here.

Yeah i can't imagine why people pressured king when he was being scummy and some of the pressurers came away with town reads as a result

what a silly idea
