lol forbidden, I was just thinking of a gimmicky Lucario set:

Lucario@Focus Sash/Life Orb
Lonely: 200 Atk/252 Sp. Atk/56 Spd
-Agility
-Me First
-Close Combat
-Dark Pulse

The idea is to outspeed almost everything with Agility, then use the foe's own moves against them with Me First.

The other two moves can be switched out for similar attacks. Aura Sphere is an option over Close Combat, but Close Combat has higher BP and a negative side effect that doesn't really matter when you have such pitiful 70/70/70 defenses and 462 speed. I prefer Dark Pulse's ability to flinch, which is nice when you're going to be outspeeding the enemy. Crunch and Shadow Ball are also options for that slot. They give similar comverage.

The EV's give you 230 speed, which after an Agility allows to you outspeed +Natured CS Base 90's. Adamant CS Garchomp is outspeed, as is Adamant Electivire with the Motor Drive boost. BulkyDos with 2 DD's is outsped. The (Sp.) Attack EV's are designed to maximize the potential of Me First, allowing Lucario to Me First both physical and special attacks with its nice offensive stats.

Focus Sash vs. Life Orb is a tough choice. Focus Sash guarantees an Agility, while Life Orb almost doubles the power of the Me First hits (1.5*1.3=1.95), and allows Lucario sweep with Close Combat and Dark Pulse.

@Palkia101: Synchronize doesn't work on self-inflicted status.

@[.darkie]: It sounds like a cool concept, but I don't really like Me First because it is easily prevented by support moves and the fact that many Pokemon are resistant to their own attacks (try Flamethrowering an Infernape...). I guess catching something like a Metagross Earthquake would be nice, though.

@darkie: Agility = egg move so its too late for that also I've never liked Agility on Lucario because it isn't exactly the hardest hitter. It has 110 base attacks which is quite low compared to other sweepers and its very fragile which not even his steel typing can cover. If you're going to use Agility, you'll need to bring it in on something that it can scare like Blissey otherwise Focus Sash is a must. I would go CC/Shadow ball or CC/Crunch.

Still need help with an EV spread and the last move for my lucario. =(

Lucario@Focus Sash
Hasty
EV: HELP!
-Counter
-Crunch
-Extreme Speed
-Hp Ice??? Need Help

EV: Thinking 252 speed and rest split between atk/sp.atk depending on last move.

Do you really need 252 speed? It has the ever-strange 90 base speed. Maybe give it just enough speed to outrun Adamant Heracross?

...but now hes offering team support?

That's right, not a joke.

[SET]
name: Trapfernape
move 1: Fire Spin
move 2: Over Heat/U-Turn
move 3: Slack Off
move 4: Taunt/Will o Wisp
item: Leftovers/Wide Lense
ability: Blaze
nature: Timid/Jolly
evs: 236 HP, 232 Speed, 42 Def

[SET COMMENTS]
The idea is to set up a trap that is not broken with switching or dieing. Fire Spin is a greatly underated move, it swaps the accuracy of Mean Look for the ability to switch-out instead of baton-pass. Overheat combined with Blaze works well if the wall decides to attack you (and you'll probably live, seeing this Infernape lives a 300 Base power EQ from a 6 Attack Nuetral Donphan %70 of the time). Wide Lense is recommended if you are running Fire Spin/WoW, seeing as there accuracies are 70/75.

[EVs]
The HP EVs give 352 for perfect Leftovers recovery, the Speed gives enough to outrun Adamant Duggy.

[Opinion]
This is my favorite Infernape set, and it works. I run it on shoddy, and I've screwed over so many Starmie switch-ins, trapping them, then switching to a Spc. Wall or something to set up on it like Curselaxs.

The Damage Calcs

Donphan Neutral 6 Attack - 300 BP Earthquake 91.19% - 107.10%
Cresselia Nuetral - 270 BP Psychic 58.81% - 69.03%
Suicune Nuetral 6 SpcAttack - 284 BP Surf 71.88% - 84.66%
Slowbro Nuetral 46 SpcAttack - 284 BP Surf 81.53% - 96.02%
Weezing Nuetral - 95 BP Thunderbolt 22.73% - 26.70%
Tangrowth Positive 232 Attack - 200 BP Earthquake 70.74% - 83.24%
Gyarados Positive 16 Attack - 240 BP Waterfall 84.09% - 98.86%

Not bad, eh? They are all 2HKOs (Donphan is potentially OHKO), but you get the chance to trap them and send out a counter.

Any more comments on this? :)

God DAMNIT. I was playing with it on Shoddy, and they switched... I played with so many other people before someone figured out you could switch when the 'ape switch. That throws my whole set out the window.

[NAME]
Fire Spin
[SHORT DESC]
Traps and damages over multiple turns.
[LONG DESC]
This move lasts for 2-5 turns as a passive effect, so the user can choose other moves after using this while it is still in effect. It does 1/16 damage at the end of the turn for each turn in effect, and prevents the target from switching. The effect goes away when the user switches, even if the 2-5 turn counter isn't up.
Sorry, but it's not supposed to stay after the switch anyway, so shoddy was working correctly.

True, but Outraging a ScarfChomp or Draco Meteoring a SpecsMence is always fun.

Uh...but...those 2 will normally never use those on you. Especially Scarfchomp. If you come in on it after it used it, you're slower so it won't work. And if it's coming into you, wouldn't it have Earthquaked?

Not too sure, if this set is new or creative, but anyway...

Got the Idea "TheFrozen's" Rayquaza. So if this set interests you, go there for one of the inspiration behind the set.

MixQuaza

ITEM - Lum Berry/Yache Berry.
EVs - Pending, but probably 252 SpAtk, 252 Speed.
Nature - Lonely.
MS - Extreme Speed, Swords Dance, Draco Meteor and Brick Break/Fire Blast.

Basically a Chain Chomp and Extreme Speed Arceus fused into one. Come in on a CB Earthquake or ScarOgre surf and use Swords Dance. Evaluate the situation. If they send in Mewtwo/Darkrai you should be 2HKO them with Extremespeed.

Here's the Item choice difference: Lum berry saves you from Darkrai's sleep and Yache saves you from Mewtwo's Ice beam. I'd go for Lum, because i run Aura Sphere/Shadow Ball Mewtwo.

If they send in Giratina, then they're quite likely to try to Burn, Roar or D-claw you. Either way a Draco Metoer will OHKO them. Brick Break is a 2HKO on Bliss, but once again a Yache Berry is your only defence against an Ice Beam.

Lugia will eat an Extreme Speed as it reflects and Draco Meteor as it whirlwinds or roosts. Either way, Rayquaza will outspeed Lugia's that are geared to outspeed Groudons.

Needless to say, but Fire Blast rapes Forretress.

Following Trainman's Rayquaza set i've decided to post my Mixquaza set ive been tinkering with a bit.

Rayquaza @ Life Orb
Trait: Air Lock
EVs: 196 Atk / 216 Spd / 96 SAtk
Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def)
- Dragon Claw / Brick Break / Outrage
- Draco Meteor
- Fire Blast / Thunder
- Roost / Dragon Dance

With the Evs generated coupled with Life Orb Rayquaza's Draco Meteor can OHKO Groudon, Mewtwo and some of the defensively weaker ubers while leaving huge dents in anything that does resist dragon for example it does 60-67% on a 252 HP Kyogre. The Evs also allow it to outspeed max speed Timid and Jolly Kyogre and Groudon respectively

Dragon Claw will OHKO the Lati twins as well as 2HKO most Groudon and Lugia as you wont see them running max defence as well as hp. Brick Break is an option over Dragon Claw as it will OHKO Blissey, but the 2HKO from Dragon Claw seems fine as Brick Break wont hit anything else harder than Rayquaza's other moves.
Outrage is still an option here and it's power shouldnt be underestimated but i'd prefer the versatility that Dragon Claw offers as i would like top be locked into Outrage without a Dragon Dance as Rayquaza isnt one of the fasters ubers and probaly will be promptly met with an Ice Beam.

Fire Blast for steels in general but dont underestimate its power on other ubers as it generates fairly high damage against most ubers. Thunder is an option here as it will still 2HKO Forretress and has that 30% paralysis rate.

Last move is mostly about preference, Roost gets you recovery from all that Life Orb Damage while Dragon Dance is there if you want to try sweeping with Dragon Claw or Outrage.

Well standard CBDon is guaranteed to survive DM actually.

Life Orbed Dragon Claw 3HKOs Groudon and Brick Break won't OHKO Blissey.

Rayquaza does not get Roost I think

Spinda @ Focus Sash
Adamant / 252 ATK, 252 SPD, 6 HP
Own Tempo

Counter
Flail
Sucker Punch
Protect

Lol priority moves. Endgame sweeper 8D. Stole it from Infernape Kong and tweaked it. Im currently using it to some degree of success on shoddy (I centred a new team around it). Protect defends from status and scouts attacks so I know when to sucker punch. Rapes weakened teams and combines well with Magnezone. Shame he has no taunt really.

NU my ass.

Sorry about that post, for some reason i swore blind Rayquaza got Roost

Yea I some mistakes in Metalkids calcs sorry about that :/

I actually redid the calcs and Standard Groudon still takes 97-100% from Draco Meteor.

Groudon has to have 180 hp evs to guarantee survival and the majority wont run that much as they generally prefer to run some speed.

Max HP Groudon takes 81-95% from the same Draco Meteor

I made a set for a Non-Uber Manaphy, well...yeah, whatever.

Manaphy @ Salac Berry
Timid Nature
252 Special Attack / 252 Speed / 6 HP
- Tail Glow
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Substitute

Without the 101 Subs, Manaphy can simply sub down to a low enough HP to get Salac Berry to kick in while using Tail Glow, and sweep opponents. I tried this set before, and it's very promising to use. Although I had it tested against a Hacked Arceus with max EV and IVs in every stat. XDDD

Weavile @ salac berry
252 atk 252 spd 4 hp
sub
swords dance
ice punch
nightslash

basically sub and sword dance. you can usually get in one sub and sword dance since it is unexpected.

you mean 12 HP EVs (or 30 HP IV and 0 HP evs).
If you're going to post the same sub-salac set that can be applied to any sweeper, at least do the math for the HP/4.

Infernape @ Focus Sash
Close Combat
Fire Punch
Thunderpunch
Swords Dance

A variant of Infernape that's more reliant on Focus Sash, trading the extra power of Flare Blitz for a Blaze boost. The key is to Swords Dance first, then let Focus Sash take the hit. Of course, it has to lead your team, before the opponent can get a Sandstreamer out. Weavile destroys this set, though.
