Honestly more suspicious of MS out of this because of the bandwagoning without explanation, which is always scummy in my book. Yeti I understand that I subbed into a seemingly scummy slot (yay alliteration), but why the sudden jump onto me after your last few posts being completely unrelated? It feels a little odd.

A sudden lethargy left me unable to analyze as much as I wished, so some quick thoughts:
-Why are there so many idlers? I thought this was an invitational for a reason.
-Proph's hasn't contributed as much as I'd like them to, but I'm willing to give that a pass until Animals ends. Still wanting something more tho.
-I scumread Hawkie out of hand nowadays, but he's honestly looking pretty town to me. Echoes a lot of my personal thoughts from my skimming recently.
-Asek #556 looks spectacular to me, tbh. It's what I like to see in a reads post. Big town read on him.
-Yeti's #523 doesn't seem worth lynching me over, tbh. Walrein being dumb and giving no shits is hardly worth a lynch.

1. Why do you think Hawkie looks pretty town? Can you cite some posts that give you this read? What thoughts in particular is he echoing?

2. I know others have said this, but can you look at the substance of Asek's post over how the post looks from a first glance? Wall posts are designed to look good (mine notwithstanding).

3. Who do you actually think is scum? You're suspecting Metal Sonic and maybe Yeti for bandwagonning you, and your point about Yeti's 523 feels defensive.
 
Not seeing anything pingy in the ProphYeti 1 on 1 except for what I was already disliking (me in Towncore). Jotted down the associative Texas mentioned, along with the tinfoil I mentioned earlier and Asek jumping in about Walrein.

Can you answer my questions about my readwall?

What exactly are you disliking, you in the towncore? Why are you disliking it? Do you disagree with my reasoning for townreading you?

Looking at his catch up post people are right in that they don't really give a sense of where he is at reads-wise and he has pretty... surface-level reactions to posts, which.. is throwing me in for kind of a loop because I /know/ scum!Asek is capable of posting walls that look good.

i said that reading through all the posts at that point was a massive drag and half of the posts were just word soup or 'gas' (stop imitaitng my wordings whoever else is using this) and after my busy busy days where i coudnt post i could not be faaaaarked doing in depth responses to all that shite.
Why do you think my "I will be easier to read as the game progresses" post is indicative of a mafia mindset?
Knights struggled similarly in the last game producing reads as town; it kind of makes me wonder why you're not taking that into account when analyzing him here. What makes you think that this is scum!Knights as opposed to town!Knights fluffing, like.. last game?

i outlined that i was concerned with knights floating around and not really actively engaging with the reads at the time and the main thing i remember from his posts at the time was a continual 'sucking off' i phrased it of your slot which read like he was trying to pull pressure off you and not let the hawkie push develop, without pushing any real alternative of their own. i dont really want to talk about active games considering your in it but knights plays the exact same 'fluffy' nature of mafia as scum and its not really conductive to me reading them as either alignment, i dont view it as indicative of their town game which i think you are implying here

people who claim 'i need time to get better' 'dont lych me early ill have my shit together later' are just providing a wank excuse as to not engage early which isnt towny

im off them for the time being anyway as i acknoledged im biased towards sring this slot on stylisric differences but i dont think theyre town by any means

Asek, how do you propose I would work with somebody who is scumreading me? I'm trying to engage with Hawkie because I think he's town, just horrifically wrong about what his idea on the gamestate is, and he just keeps blowing me off with "you're scum and I won't re-evaluate" (which, fair, I haven't been super engaged in this game yet).

you were dismissive of hawkies reasoning a lot of the times when it semed like what hawkie was really driving onto you for was for you to produce content and you didnt. my read into it was hawkie trying to get you to post anything other than gas and you.... didnt really do anything? like you tangented onto a knights tr (i think hawkie expressed suscpisions on knights slot somewhere i cant remember if it was before or after that post) but it wasnt really relevant to what hawkie wanted from you i feel. i get your busy (i was and i just chose not to post) but why were you so keen to defend yourself from hawkie and promoting a tunnel where all the other players pretty much floated around and did nothing it would be more conductive to gamesolving to try engaging onto and shoving another slot and see what hawkies reaction was to your pushes.

Yeah, me in your Towncore. When you were engaging Hawkie about me, I wrote down "Am I being pocketed?" in my notes and the thought's never really left me. I don't think I warrant a spot in any Towncores when I haven't really done much. Most of this game has been me sitting back and either taking a few notes or hoping someone would speak up so I could get more content to read. the 1 v 1 I had with Tex was fruitless and the best thing I did is point out talking about Masons is antiTown.

lightwolf played with a similar level of activity at this point in the last game

empoof probably had well over 100 posts by this stage

one is consistent with past behavior the other isnt.
 
@whoever asked me to read the fh wall it didnt change my opinion on the slot, just really cemented them as being higher tier tr

i read yeti iso and theyre probably on the same level as fh, they feel a lot more willing to engage with the wagons and actively pushing their reads whereas in the last game they felt a lot more content to sit on the ousides and comment on how hotheaded / stupid the arguments were (josh + ms). feels like theres more solving intent there

Fair; as you said Hawkie tunneling on me was probably the most illuminating thing in the game at that point, and that was why I was fine being pressured/tunneled because it could help people get a better read on me, Hawkie, and just overall advance the gamestate.

Still, you aren't taking into account the previous rand like at all? Knights was really similar I feel where he just struggled to produce content/reads on Day 1 and as a result got lynched for it, so.. it's just strange to me that you would only consider [ongoing game] versus.. the rand that we can discuss openly.

I was fine with defending myself from Hawkie because I wanted to engage with him and really probe his brain about exactly why he was scumreading my slot (to me it felt like he was just bringing up EVERY. SINGLE. POST of mine and calling it scummy), and every time I tried to audible onto someone else he'd be like "oh, here's scumproph trying to misdirect" or something. I wanted to see how other players reacted to Hawkie's tunnel on me because I'm thinking that it'd be more fruitful to analyze rereading later in the game to figure out who took which stance and why.

I think that I can read you decently well aside from the weirdness of the previous rand

You haven't done much, which is true, but I feel like you have pretty townie tone in this game and I can understand where you're coming from

knights didnt actively try distract from wagons as far as i remember in the last round? like they were posting fluff but even then it read like they were engaging with what was put in front of them / posting to gamesolve rather then just saying 'i dont agree with your push hawkie. get off' which was pretty much my only impression of koc in those first 20 pages. it was just defending without a base / alrernATIve

hm fair enough i guess. i dont think that tunnel was going anywhere around the point texas flat out said 'im parking here but i tr them' in terms of generating content that could actually be ¬useful¬ .

do you think that tunnel in hindsight has given you a better read on the players that were floating around it tho

lw + dle both did the exact same thing last time i dont think the behaviour is telling at all for either of those 2
walrein ive already touched on somewhere somewhere
