I can’t in good faith vote for a chaos type unless we have its eventual opposite in the law type (which is not good/light because lawful evil totalitarians exists). We’ll have evil(Dark) and Chaos but no good(light I guess) or law types to balance it out?
My vote is Space for that reason.
Anyway I figured I’d impart my rules of thumb for type design:
5 weaknesses max unless it resists more than steel or has 2 immunities.
Likewise 5 SE hits max unless you want the type to become a must use coverage type to drown out all others unless it has like 2 immune types.
Likewise no type combo should have more than two 4x weaknesses otherwise you’ll have a hard time justifying use of the mon.
Types should be resisted by 7 types max. Poor grass and bug. Help those guys!
Is the a two type combo that has no ever to exist type resistance outside of wacky wonderguard shenanigans? Try and circumvent it. Our new ghost/fight heart was a great step in that direction.But Marshadow’s fall to lower tiers hasn’t yet begun.
