I don't really think Heal's logic makes sense(wtf are the viper posts) and the VT claim is so so so so bad but also feels tonally genuine

If his post is from mobile, then this could just be weird mobile formatting, but doing a hard line break like that on a desktop seems like it is giving off a significant cue to his mental behavior. Ultimately I believe viper's post to be 100% contentless regarding this current game, and so I was reading into it for tone and mental state rather than content. If references past history, shows that viper is uncomfortable with his past failings, and then it simply asks apricity to claim scum if he's scum. Obviously he's not going to do that, obviously viper didn't expect apricity to do that. This means either viper was going for a weird introductory post that put past history on the table above all else or viper is scum and is trying to throw the target onto apricity because of his past behavior. And well, subsequent viper posts have been trying to do just that. Overall, viper posts identify really only one potential threat, that threat was introduced by him very early on with no reason, and all of his justification has happened after that.

After sleeping on it, this is now leading me to believe that Viper might have had a very early to paint apricity as a target and has been doing so slowly over the course of the thread without paying much attention to other possible leads. I also feel like he's being too favorable to me and could just be trying to pocket me. Viper seems like he has a plan, has been ignoring other possibilities, and as such doesn't seem to be genuinely scumhunting.

If we get to viper L-1 or even L-2, I will switch my vote onto him. I don't trust apricity but I don't trust viper either. apricity's attitude seems like he's not going to be helpful scumhunting in any universe though, and viper is overly fixated, so it's a toss up.

texas - neutral. he's been sort of quiet and hasn't been offering a lot but what he does offer hasn't been hugely objectionable.

nuxl - townlean. active, helpful, cautiously weighing options.

dusk - neutral. He went at viper early but has switched since then. I don't particularly agree with his logic so far, but that might be expected since he's after me right now and disagreeing with mine. Overall we might be on different wavelengths but I don't think this is a huge issue at this stage.

Lazer - earlier I scumleaned him after smogon pointed out the rust comment, he then hit an okay patch, but then seemed to maybe pocket me. Neutral with for now but I think there's bigger fish to catch that will give us more information or confirmation on our reads.

smogon account - be more active please.

caffeineboost - viper recently tried to defend him simply by saying "it's okay for town people to joke about being scum." If viper really is scum and not apricity, caffeine could be his partner. slight scum read. Viper's quote of "sometimes it feels like he is just doing filler posts randomly to get town cred but they are funny filler posts so i get why he posted them if he was town lol" sounds very weird. I don't get why he'd be laughing at caffeine.

viper and apricity - I've talked enough about them already.

I did not say getting hal out of the game is easy. Trust me I know the exact opposite is true. I said it was easy to susp him on a bad reasoning such as he was scum last game so I don't trust him. I never said that I was scum reading him based on last game lol. Once again all I have done is point out to people who have not played with him before that he has a good scum game and he showed some of the same signs as past games when he was scum

I think past problems between us are cleared up and not showing in this game, my motivation to tell you when i find something i think would come from scum!hal is to get good discussion and get closer to finding scum, not because i hate hal or smth.

you hit the nail on the head buddy, i made an obviously joking post to start out the game so that i could paint hal as scum.
in all honesty that post was meant as a joke for people who were in last game, after that post he started acting scummy so i called him out on it.

this post makes me think it is scum!heal. i feel like since he fully didnt read my post and instead just responded to what was said after his name that he is scummy as all he cared about was calling me out the second he thought i said smth about him. i feel like town!heal would read over things cause of what i know about him outside of this game.

I did read the whole post, it's not my fault you started talking about me and then shifted subjects without using proper nouns. Also, finally after this much egging I get the aggressive viper.

If you think I'm scum, put your money where your mouth is and vote me.

FYI, I still think viper is trying to smoothly pocket me anyway since minutes after his above post he asked me to play some weird steam card game with him. I think he's been abusing our out-of-game friendship to get me to think he's not scum. He's been playing on my negative relationship with apricity trying to get me to vote for him, defending me against others' criticism, but when I actually call him for pocketing he turns on me in the game while asking to do friendly stuff out of the game.
