The fact he done it twice makes it worse. It means it's all fluff. As viper said earlier hal will kick and scream to get people off him as scum. Twice he's gone into full rage mode and pepped up as soon as he thinks he's in the clear.
I still think the Hal lynch is optimal but I am fine with a Duskfall lynch.
