Well, I'd like to say to rank up Haxorus. Why? Well I have reasons why. 1: Scarf outrage. Seriously. This allows it to just nuke a ton of things. It nukes some top threats too, like Mega Charizard X, Dragonite (because mold breaker), Greninja, Mega Loupunny, and others. There is too much to name them all. 2: Mold Breaker. This kinda goes back to point number 1. Stuff that would normally beat it like Sturdy + Counter and Dragonite don't because of this ability. As such, combined with fact #1 makes it one of the best dragons in the tier. 3: Choice Band. This along with point #1 makes it unpredictable at times. With Choice Band, it can smash a ton of things. Sure it doesn't beat some stuff that scarf does, but it makes up for it with even more power. This item makes it great at KOing even some defensive Pokemon. 4: Fairly decent coverage. Whimsicott? Poison jab. Aggron? Superpower. Magerna? Earthquake? Ehh I don't know, but I think it helps alot. So yeah, it does more than be an outrageous powerhouse. And yes I can confirm these, I used Haxorus multiple times myself, and I have a bunch of replays for proof on PS. Now for downsides. #1: It's typing leaves it vulnerable to fairy attacks. Because of this, Magerna can slice it with Fairium Z, Tapu Lele beats it unless you can get a crit with poison jab, and some others. 2: It is vulnerable to Will-O-Wisp. And if you know the meta well, it's on some powerful Pokemon here, like Charizard Y. As you've seen from pro #1, it doesn't care a bit about Charizard X, Will-O-Wisp or none. As for if I missed anything, I'd love to hear it.
Edit: Oh yeah forgot to mention that Charizard X with Will-O-wisp does scare band variant, but Haxorus normally runs Scarf anyways sooooo....

there's no way in hell haxorus beats aggron
But I agree it deserves a rankup. One of my best teams has adamant choice banded haxorus on it and let me tell you, that shit slaps and kills
Ah, yeah I think I made a little mistake about Aggron. I know Haxorus has a ton of strength, but not like, 180 attack or something like that. So you're right, I don't think it beats Aggron
Wow I didn't even notice this was still this high.
Mega Pinsir B ---> B-
This mon has had it rough. With the advent of bulky mega char x and flame charge, alongside the overall shift to a bulkier metagame, Mega Pinsir has lost its one good matchup with the S Ranks of 1v1 (Char Y doesn't count). Despite its base 120 Def, it has pitiful bulk, marred by its unacceptable HP stat of 65. It wants to run bulk, setup, and offense at the same time, but cant get enough from either options. Truly a fall from grace.

While what you're saying is true, I don't believe Pinsir needs to drop.

With regards to the other Pokemon in B, I find these totals to be perfectly adequate for Pinsir to stay where it is.
Uhh Osra, Mega Pinsir does beat Jumpluff, if Jumpluff misses sleep powder. So it kinda just depends. Just mentioning the facts like these viability rankings want people to.

pokemon who depend on rolls like 75% sleep powder or 60% hypnosis like Jumpluff and mGengar have close to no 100% sure matcups, so it's pointless to specify that
mPinsir beats Jumpluff irregardless tho, because it uses Quick Attack

I guess that makes a pretty good difference. But Return does more than quick attack, and since Quick attack only 2HKOs, it still kinda would be the return scenario where it just depends on if Sleep Powder hits or not (unless you crit). Also even if Return doesn't OHKO, Return and Quick Attack combined should beat it.

The problem is running quick attack for pluff means you're not running another more important move. Let's say you swapped out your Earthquake, now you lose to Magearna/Mawile depending on your boosting move.

that just depends on what you want to beat with Pinsir. This imho just adds to its viability, since you can run quick attack to beat stuff like pheromosa and other frail and fast pokemon, beat sub users, beat sturdy mons etc., or just replace it with sub/bulk up/eq or whatever else you need to use depending on what you want to beat

Mega Aerodactyl, probably some Archeops rip off right? Sort of I guess, though this thing has various niches that give it that extra touch. First of all, this thing has the Tough Claws ability: meaning that Contact moves get a multiplier of 1.3. In addition to this, it learns various moves that are included in the Contact move section that gives it a lot of coverage. Iron Tail with 130bp, Ice Fang with 84,5bp and Fly with 117bp + STAB are a few of those examples. (omg Giga Impact with 195bp that’s insane) The Speed this guy has is insane, meaning that it outspeeds certain Scarf mons (until 80 max base speed, or modest/adamant sets), as well as still outspeeding mons after a Rock Tomb drop. Unlike Archeops, Aerodactyl can tank a variety of strong STAB moves while still hitting hard. Its last niche is that it’s able to force 50/50s against Z-move users like Manaphy, Magneton and Mew.
Aerodactyl-Mega @ Aerodactylite
Ability: Unnerve
EVs: 196 HP / 252 Atk / 60 Spe

3. Offensive Adamant
Aerodactyl-Mega @ Aerodactylite
Ability: Unnerve
EVs: 88 HP / 252 Atk / 168 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Fly
- Stone Edge
- Ice Fang
- Iron Tail / Giga Impact
1. 216speed evs + jolly are to outspeed base 145s like Mega Sceptile and Zeraora (although it doesn’t beat it) and Scarfs with base 80 Speed (and modest). 40hp are actually very useful vs Rock Tomb matchups. And you need the 252 att evs for high rolls against gardevoir and greninja. Stone Edge is mainly to beat the Zards, although it’s also useful to crit. Fly is its main Stab move and is used for Greninja, Lopunny, Kommo-o, Venusaur, etc. Ice Fang deals with Landorus-t as well as Garchomp (and Zygarde). Iron Tail is a (reliable) counter to Fairies like Tapu Lele, Gardevoir and Diancie and KO’s them. Earthquake can be used to beat Naganadel, Mega Gengar and a follow up vs (non-Flash Cannon) Heatran.
2. 60 Speed evs make it outspeed base 110s like Jumpluff as well as Chomp/Zards etc.
252 Atk Tough Claws Charizard-Mega-X Outrage vs. 180 HP / 0 Def Aerodactyl-Mega: 292-345 (84.3 - 99.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO and
180+ SpA Flash Fire Heatran Flash Cannon vs. 180 HP / 0 SpD Aerodactyl-Mega: 288-338 (83.2 - 97.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO. Pretty impressive. Adamant is more reliable to beat things like Lele (Iron Tail) while this set focuses on beating Zards and Heatran. Earthquake
3. 168 Speed evs make it outspeed Greninja and Naganadel. This set can include Giga Impact, as it does more damage than its Fly Stab but Iron Tail is now able to beat Lele.
248+ Atk Tough Claws Aerodactyl-Mega Iron Tail vs. 144 HP / 140 Def Tapu Lele: 340-402 (107.2 - 126.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO
It is also able to use Curse/Roost or Hone Claws to boost its accuracy for his moves that have a low accuracy:
+1 252+ Atk Tough Claws Aerodactyl-Mega Ice Fang vs. 236 HP / 252+ Def Zygarde: 396-468 (95.1 - 112.5%) -- 75% chance to OHKO

It has a lot of impact on high tier mons and therefore I think
Aerodactyl-mega UR -> C+/B-
Looking at the mess you guys made from the VR I think Aerodactyl deserves at least C+, or B- on the same ranking as Archeops.
Well if you are fourth and it beats lots of viable stuff, I say B-. While it does beat viable threats, it also loses to others. That's all I have to say, I don't recall seeing Mega Areodactyl before in 1v1. If I nominate a Pokemon, I have seen it and used it, and get results I need for a tier change. So the only stuff I really know about Mega Areodactyl is what you said, so that's all I can say.
I totally agree with you. I have never seen an Aerodactyl on the ladder. But the Viability Rankings are meant to show the capabilities and impact a certain mon can have on the metagame. I believe Aerodactyl definitely deserves to be ranked as it has an unique moveset of coverages together with its typing and ability. What I’m trying to say is, I have never seen an Ambipom, Alomomola or Liligant on the ladder but they are still considered as viable in the rankings. Trust me on my words that I believe this to be viable or use it yourself
I'm back at it again with a weird mon for a nom Weird how nom is an anagram for mon. Also Shyom with another nom rhymes.
Eelektross for UT
This will be my dumbest nom that might not get through but Imma try my best.
Why Eelektross?
Cause it ain't got a weakness. Also yeah, it doesn't have enough bulk to accompany it. It just gets outclassed by the Electric Types in the tier, but it does have its own niches. Firstly, it beats some of the stuff Magnezone and Zeraora and the Electric company can still beat. Gyarados and Gene to name a few.
252+ Atk Gyarados-Mega Earthquake vs. 248 HP / 32 Def Eelektross: 316-372 (84.7 - 99.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
152+ SpA Eelektross Gigavolt Havoc (190 BP) vs. 248 HP / 48 SpD Gyarados-Mega: 414-488 (105.3 - 124.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ SpA Choice Specs Genesect Bug Buzz vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Eelektross: 276-325 (73.9 - 87.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
152+ SpA Eelektross Flamethrower vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Genesect: 360-424 (127.2 - 149.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO
But what can it do that the Electric company cannot do?
It has a free Air Balloon, but still doesn't have the bulk to really do things it wants to do. It does have Acid Spray which in theory beats mons like Type:Null (tried to find someone to test it with me, nobody did ;-;). But one of the most notable things it can do is beat Swampert. Most Electric types don't have a way of dealing with Pert. Zeraora's Grass Knot isn't enough. Eelektross on the otherhand has immunity to EQ, and can Grass Knot to its heart's content.
Is that all Eelektross can do?
I don't know, that why I'm nomming it for UT, cause I feel like Eelektross can do something other than having no weakness and wiggling around.
