Let's say you want max recovery for Slowbro.
Slowbro's Max HP (252 EVs, 31IV): 394

394/16 = 24,625
you take off the decimals and multiply 16
... 24*16 = 384.

Done, you have max leftovers recovery.
Some people like to add 1 to the max Leftovers recovery, but I'm not sure why.
 
My trick question was answered, now the taunt question.

Does taunt get bounded back by magic-coat, it does on shoddy and I want to know if it does ingame (wi-fi) aswell.
 
Wondering what to do with the EV spread for my baton passing scizor then.

184 HP / 176 Def / 148 Spe is the usual BP'ing setup.

With 200 hp / 160 def / 148 speed I would get 320 HP (20 recovery a turn)
Is it worth to sacrife the defence from the spread, or would it be better to go for 19 recovery 309 HP (due to maxing out Def ev's and putting the rest in hp) (116hp / 252 Def / 148speed ) or just keep to the normal spread?
 
Where can I post my warstory? (Please don't make fun of me I really don't know because no one posted in the warstory archive and they said they move your warstory thing to there only if its good or something.)

1) how do people find out about real life tournaments and giveaways?

2) is a 31/x/31/16/26/8 good enough for a Vaporeon/Umbreon?

I didnt see that Vaporeon when i posted...

It looks fine. I dont think Surf is really meant to KO anything, just damage a little, so if you want to keep it or breed another one is up to you. I would keep it because I'm lazy

Nintendo's official Pokemon website: http://pokemon.com/

They post it there in the news section when an event is planned. (At least for the U.S.)
This is where I found out about the Toys R Us giveaways, gamestop tournaments, JAA, NYPC giveaways, Bryant Park, etc.
They'll most likely post it here when they've decided on a date for the upcoming darkrai event in the U.S.

Should I use Focus Punch or Return?

Def: 31
Sp. Atk: 31
Sp. Def: 31
Spd: 31

Geez, even with 31 in SP. Atk, a - nature kills it. With 48 evs in attack, it has 170...Is that still worth using with focus punch or return? If so, which one would REALLY work better?

I REALLY NEED A GOOD EV SPREAD FOR THIS...Defensively minded...
