[OVERVIEW]

Porygon2's Eviolite-boosted bulk allows it to withstand attacks from Pokemon like Mega Metagross, Garchomp, and Landorus-T. It also has a good movepool and a great ability in Analytic. This allows it to take care of faster Dragon- and Steel-types like non-Choice Band Haxorus and Celesteela. However, Porygon2 can be taken down by Pokemon like Sawk and Mega Lopunny because of their high Attack stats and super effective STAB moves. It also has a hard time against strong special attackers with boosting moves like Mega Gardevoir and Magearna, as they are able to tank Porygon2's attacks and OHKO it with their STAB moves after setting up. Furthermore, Porygon2 struggles against Taunt users like Tapu Fini, Mew, and Deoxys-S, as they cut off its recovery, making it easier to knock out or outlast. Porygon2 also has trouble with bulky Pokemon like Mega Venusaur and Mega Sableye because of their immunity to Toxic and ability to outstall it.

Moves
========

Recover helps Porygon2 keep itself healthy against Pokemon like mixed Zeraora, Mega Gyarados, Naganadel, and Togekiss. Thunderbolt is good to use against Water-types like Mega Gyarados. Ice Beam allows Porygon2 to take care of Ground- and Dragon-types like Landorus-T, Dragonite, and Zygarde. Foul Play is a great way to deal with Pokemon with high Attack like Mega Metagross and Jirachi along with setup sweepers like Mega Charizard X and Mega Pinsir. Toxic can be used over Foul Play to deal with bulky Pokemon like non-Rest Mega Slowbro, Z-Thunder Wave Togekiss, and Kyurem.

Set Details
========

Maximum HP investment and 168 EVs in Defense coupled with a Bold nature help Porygon2 take Z-Moves such as Dragonite's Outrage-based Devastating Drake. This also helps Porygon2 take physical attacks from the likes of Mega Metagross, Victini, Garchomp, and mixed Zeraora. A Bold nature is used over Relaxed in order to outpace Encore Primarina and Taunt Mega Mawile. 88 Special Defense EVs allow Porygon2 to avoid the 2HKO from Naganadel's Sludge Wave and Dragonite's Draco Meteor-based Devastating Drake. Its ability Analytic goes well with its low Speed, making its to make Ice Beam and Thunderbolt hit Pokemon like Landorus-T, Porygon-Z, and Celesteela harder.

Usage Tips
========

Send Porygon2 out against physical attackers like Mega Metagross, Mega Pinsir, and Jirachi, as Foul Play will 3HKO bulky Mega Metagross and 2HKO Mega Pinsir and Jirachi. You can use it against common Dragon- and Flying-types like Dragonite, Garchomp, and Landorus-T, as Ice Beam will OHKO them. It performs well against special attackers like Togekiss, Naganadel, and Rotom-H, thanks to its access to Recover, Ice Beam, and Thunderbolt. Porygon2 has a solid matchup against common Choice Scarf users like Haxorus and non-Trick Porygon-Z, as it can tank their attacks and finish them off with Ice Beam. You should also send it out against Carracosta, as Thunderbolt will 2HKO it. If running Toxic, Porygon2 can even take care of non-Rest Mega Slowbro. Avoid sending Porygon2 out against bulky physical Dark-types with setup moves like Mega Tyranitar and Incineroar, as they resist Foul Play and can take care of Porygon2 with Taunt and Bulk Up-boosted attacks, respectively. Moreover, try not to send Porygon2 out against walls like Ferrothorn and Chansey, as Ferrothorn is too difficult to knock out due to Leech Seed its access to and its immunity to Toxic, and Chansey will win by using its own Toxic and outdamaging Porygon2 with Seismic Toss. Be sure to avoid using Porygon2 around Taunt users that it cannot quickly KO like Guardian of Alola Tapu Fini, Mega Tyranitar, Deoxys-S, and Kee Berry Mew, as this will prohibit the use of Recover and make it unable to take care of them. Do not send it out against Fighting-types like Mega Lopunny, Terrakion, Kommo-o, and Pheromosa, as their STAB attacks will knock out Porygon2 before it can do anything back. Be careful around Calm Mind users like Tapu Lele and Waterium Z Tapu Fini, as Porygon2's attacks will be unable to finish them off.

Team Options
========

Fairy-types like Tapu Fini and Tapu Lele make for great partners for Porygon2, as they are able to take on Fighting-types like Mega Lopunny and Kommo-o and pressure the opponent to not send them out. In return, Porygon2 can take on Steel-types like Jirachi and Mega Metagross for them. Dragon-types like Haxorus, Garchomp, and Mega Charizard X can set up on them or take care of walls like Ferrothorn with their STAB attacks, while Porygon2 can take on Landorus-T, Zygarde, and Mega Gyarados for them. Fire-types like Mega Charizard Y, and Heatran make for good partners for Porygon2, as they help with troubling Steel-types like Magearna and Genesect. In return, Porygon2 can take on Landorus-T and mixed Zeraora. Mega Sableye is a good partner for Porygon2, as it can shut down walls with Prankster Taunt and take on Fighting-types bar Kommo-o, as well as Deoxys-S, while Porygon2 can help with Mega Charizard X and Dragonite. Electric-types like Zeraora and Magnezone are able to hit Taunt users like Tapu Fini with their powerful attacks. Zeraora can also take care of non-Ground-type Sturdy Pokemon like Magnezone, while Metal Sound Magnezone can take care of walls like Chansey and Mega Venusaur. In return, Porygon2 can take on Ground-types like Zygarde, Garchomp, and Landorus-T.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Trace can be used to copy abilities like Volt Absorb from Zeraora, Flash Fire from Heatran, and Intimidate from Pokemon like Incineroar; however, Analytic's power boost is generally more useful. Hidden Power Fire can be used to help beat Steel-types like Ferrothorn, but Porygon2 will have to give up either its BoltBeam coverage or Toxic. A moveset consisting of Curse / Conversion / Recover / Return can be used in order for Porygon2 to have a better chance against physical attackers like Incineroar, as well as being able to convert into a Ghost-type to deliver the Ghost-type version of Curse after Porygon2 has set up with the regular version of Curse. Psywave can be used to hit Special Defense-boosting Pokemon like Tapu Fini, Clefable, Audino, and Ferrothorn harder. Charge Beam can be used over Thunderbolt to enable Porygon2 to take on Amnesia users like Mega Slowbro; however, Porygon2 will be unable to take on other Water-types like Mega Gyarados.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Fighting-types**: Fighting-types like Sawk, Terrakion, Kommo-o, Mega Medicham, Mega Lucario, and Mega Lopunny give Porygon2 trouble, as all of these Pokemon outpace it and can either OHKO or 2HKO it. Pokemon with Fighting-type coverage moves like Hoopa-U and Bulk Up Close Combat Zeraora also can 2HKO it.

**Steel-types**: Steel-types like Magearna, Magnezone, Genesect, Taunt Heatran, Ferrothorn, and Kartana give Porygon2 trouble, as they all either hit it too hard, set up and OHKO it, shut it down with Taunt, or stall it out.

**Wallbreakers**: Powerful special attackers like Mega Gardevoir can either OHKO or 2HKO Porygon2. Moreover, Z-Move users like Meloetta and offensive Tapu Lele can set up and OHKO Porygon2 before it has a chance to take care of them.

**Bulky Pokemon**: Pokemon like Mega Venusaur and Mega Sableye give Porygon2 trouble, as they and can take Porygon2's attacks and are immune to Toxic.

**Taunt Users**: Taunt users like Tapu Fini, Deoxys-S, and Mew can make Porygon2 unable to recover damage from Guardian of Alola from the former and Toxic from the latter two, slowly stalling it out of HP.

[OVERVIEW]

* Porygon2 has great bulk that is further boosted by Eviolite which allows it to withstand attacks from Mega Metagross, Garchomp and Landorus-T.
* It has have an awesome movepool and a great ability in Analytic that makes it able to power up its attack as long as it outpaces (is outpaced by*) the opponent. this allows it to run BoltBeam, Toxic for bulky Pokemon like Togekiss or Foul Play for set up sweepers like Mega Charizard X and Kartana. This is not the Moves section
* Porygon2 can use Recover to help keep itself healthy against powerful special attackers like Naganadel and Greninja and set up sweepers like Dragonite and Mega Metagross. This is not the Moves section
* However, Porygon2 has a a hard time dealing with Pokemon like Terrakion, Mega Lopunny, and Mega Altaria Only Specially Defensive Dragon Dance threatens Porygon2, and even then, Toxic still exists. because of either their massive attack stat or their super-effective attacks that can take down Porygon2. It also has a hard time against strong special attackers like Mega Gardevoir and Magearna as they are able to tank Porygon2's attacks and able to OHKO it after using Calm Mind and then attack with Hyper Beam or Z Fleur Cannon. This entire sentence can just be abbreviated to setup with examples, you don't need to say which moves they use to KO you.
* Furthermore, Porygon2 suffers against Taunt users like Tapu Fini, Mew and Deoxys-S, as it cuts off its recovery and can be either taken care of by Guradian of Alola into Brine or slowly stalled out. Abbreivate to "knocked out or stalled down"
* Porygon2 also has trouble with bulky Pokemon like Mega Venusaur and Mega Sableye because of their massive Special Defense stat being able to tank Porygon2's attacks and slowly stall it to take care of it. Abbreviate to "immunity to Toxic and ability to outstall Porygon2"

evs: 252 HP / 4 SpD / 252 Spe >252 Spe with 0 Spe ivs. Your Set Details mention Defense EVs, so I'm assuming the Spe EVs are supposed to be Def. One possible alteration to the set is 252 HP / 168 Def / 88 SpA. This spread guaranteed withstands the combination of Dragonite Z-Outrage and Outrage, and gives it the SpA to 2HKO Porygon-Z and Charizard-X with Tri Attack. There's definitely a lot of calcing and theorymonning to be done here.

Moves
========

*Make sure Recover is at the top to match its placement in the Set
* Ice Beam allows Porygon2 to take care of Ground-, Dragon-, and Grass-types There are no relevant Grass types over C+ that you can reliably beat. like Landorus-T, Dragonite and Mega Sceptile Not relevant enough.
* Thunderbolt is good to use against Water- and Flying-types There are no Flying types over C+ that you don't already handle with Ice Beam or stalling them down. like Mega Gyarados, Greninja, and Crobat Not relevant enough.
* Foul Play is a great way to deal with Pokemon with high Attack stats like Mega Metagross and Jirachi along with set up sweepers like Mega Charizard X and Mega Pinsir.
* Toxic can be used over Foul Play to deal with bulky Pokemon like Togekiss, Chansey, and Blissey Not relevant enough, replace with Slowbro and Kyurem.
* Tri Attack is a great neutral attack to hit Pokemon decently like Zeraora You already have Ice Beam plus Plasma Fists exists, Donphan Already covered by Ice Beam, and Meloetta This just sets up and nukes you. Tri Attack DOES hit Porygon-Z and Charizard-X if you give it some SpA, but not really anything else relevant. Perhaps consider moving to OO?
* Recover helps Porygon2 to keep healthy against Pokemon like Zeraora, Mega Gyarados, Naganadel, and Togekiss.

Set Details
========

* Having a Bold nature along with 252 EVs in Defense helps take z moves from Haxorus and Zeraora and physical attacks from the likes of Mega Metagoss and Victini. If you go with my Spread, you'd be able to mention the Dragonite thing here.
* 252 HP along with 4 SpD EVs helps Porygon2 take Special Attacks from the likes of Naganadel, Greninja and Kyurem.
* Its item, Eviolite makes Porygon2 a lot more bulky and boosts its Special and Physical Defense stats. People know what Eviolite does.
* Its ability, Analytic goes great with its slow Speed stat in order to get a boost for its attacks from moving after the other Pokemon most of the time to make Ice Beam, Tri Attack and Thunderbolt hit Pokemon like Zygarde You kill Zygarde regardless of Analytic, replace with Landorus-Therian, Zeraora and Togekiss harder.

Usage Tips
========

* Send Porygon2 out against physical attackers like Mega Metagross, Mega Pinsir, Jirachi and Kartana as Foul Play will 3KO bulky Mega Metagross and 2KO Mega Pinsir, Haxorus and Kartana Band Sacred Sword 2HKOs.
* Do use it against common Dragon- or Flying-types like Garchomp, Thundurus-T Not relevant and just outright wrong, and Landorus-T as Ice Beam will OHKO these.
* Send it out against special attackers like Togekiss, Naganadel and Rotom-H as with Recover and using either Ice Beam or Tri Attack, Porygon2 can win against these.
* Do send it out against common Choice Scarfers like Haxorus, Porygon-Z and Kartana Band is too big of a risk as Porygon2 can tank their attacks and finish them with using Ice Beam or Tri Attack.
* Do send it out against Water-types like Mega Slowbro I'm starting to wonder how thoroughly you researched for this analysis. Luckily Toxic still beats Slowbro. and Carracosta as Thunderbolt well 2KO these.
* Be sure to be careful around physical set up Dark-types like Mega Tyranitar and Incineroar as Foul Play will be resisted and can set up with Dragon Dance and Swords Dance respectfully to take care of Porygon2. Tyranitar beats you with Taunt not DD, and Incineroar mainly uses Bulk Up, though it can still somewhat reliably beat you.
* Be careful around walls like Ferrothorn and Chansey as the former tanks Porygon2's attacks and the latter can stall Porygon2 out after using Toxic to take care of it. Reword this to something along the lines of Ferrothorn being too difficult to knock out due to Leech Seed and clarify that Chansey wins by using its own Toxic and dealing more damage with Seismic Toss than you can with any of your moves.
* Do not send it out against Deoxys-S or Type: Null with using Amnesia and Recover for the former and the latter can using Confide and Rest to slowly PP stall it. Reword this to something along the lines of Deoxys-Speed winning through use of Taunt and Type:Null outstalling Porygon2. No more of this "former and latter" stuff.
* Be sure to be careful around Taunt users like Tapu Fini, Incineroar Doesn't need Taunt, replace with Tyranitar or Mew as this will cut off Porygon2's Recover and will be unable to take care of these.
* Do not send it out against Fighting-types like Mega Lopunny, Terrakion, Kommo-o and Pheromosa as their Fighting STAB attacks will make them OHKO Porygon2 from full Just say "knock it out", since most of them don't even OHKO before Porygon2 can take care of them.
* Be careful around Calm Mind users like Tapu Lele and Tapu Fini as this will make Porygon2's attacks unable to finish them off.

Team Options
========

* Fairy-types like Tapu Fini and Tapu Lele make great partners for Porygon2 as they are able to take on Fighting-types like Mega Lopunny and Kommo-o as well as make the opponent not pick these. What does Porygon2 do in return for them?

* Electric-types like Zeraora And what else? is a good partner as well for being able to take on Taunt users like Tapu Fini as well as Sturdy Pokemon like Donphan Mixed Life Orb is a set for a different tier and Magnezone. What does Porygon2 do in return for them?

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options

* Trace can be used to copy abilites like Multiscale from Dragonite, however, it is useless in most matchups, and overall Analytic is the better ability because of it adding additional power to its moves. Also Traces Infiltrator for Jumpluff, Intimidate for multiple Pokemon, and Volt Absorb for Zeraora
* Hidden Power Fire can be used help beat steel-types like Genesect, but it would have to give up either its BoltBeam coverage, Toxic / Tri attack in the last slot to status fat Pokemon like Chansey or neutral hitting hard on Pokemon like Zeraora or Greninja.
* Curse sets with Return are also a thing
* Psywave is probably good as an option to hit Spdef boosters that take 0 damage from your attacks

Checks and Counters
===================

**Fighting-types**: Fighting-types like Sawk, Terrakion, Kommo-o and Mega Lopunny give Porygon2 trouble as all of these outpace and can either OHKO it from full or 2KO it. Furthmore Pokemon with Fighting-type coverage like (Special) Hoopa-U and Zeraora can 2KO it.

**Steel-types**: Troubling Steel-types like Magearna and without Foul Play Mega Metagross Metagross does 0 to you, replace with Magnezone, Genesect, Heatran, Ferrothorn, Kartana, and Celesteela give Porygon2 trouble as Magearna can Calm Mind and take it out with Fairium Z while the latter can either use Laser Focus or its raw power to take care of it.

**Wallbreakers**: Powerful physical and special attack users like Terrakion, Gardevoir, and Pheromosa threaten Porygon2 with their powerful attacks that either OHKO or 2KO it from full. Z move users like Magearna and Think you missed a mon here can also set up and OHKO Porygon2 before it has a chance to take care of them.

**Bulky Pokemon**: Pokemon like Venusaur, and Mega Sabalye give Porygon2 trouble as Mega Vensaur can soak up both Thunderbolt and Ice Beam and immune to Toxic while Mega Sablye cannot be Toxic because of its ababity Magice Bounce and can take Porygon2's attacks.

**Taunt**: Taunt users like Tapu Fini, Deoxys-S and Mew easily shuts down Porygon2's recovery which makes it unable to recover damage off from Tapuium Z or to Toxic Deoxys-S or Mew to slowly stall it out of HP.

Usage Tips

* Send Porygon2 out against physical attackers like Mega Metagross, Mega Pinsir, and Jirachi as Foul Play will 3KO bulky Mega Metagross and 2KO Mega Pinsir, and Porygon 2 lives all of their attacks
* Do use it against common Dragon- or Flying-types like Dragonite, Garchomp and Landorus-T as Ice Beam will OHKO these.

* Do send it out against Water-types like Carracosta as Thunderbolt well 2KO these. If running Toxic, Porygon2 can also take care of non-Rest Mega Slowbro.
* Be sure to be careful around bulky physical set up Dark-types like Mega Tyranitar and Incineroar as Foul Play will be resisted and can use Taunt and Bulk Up respectfully to take care of Porygon2.
* Be careful around walls like Ferrothorn and Chansey as Ferrothorn being too difficult to knock out due to Leech Seed and Ferrothorn's Toxic Immunity and Chansey wins by using its own Toxic and dealing more damage with Seismic Toss than Porygon2 can.
* Do not send it out against Deoxys-S or Type: Null as with Deoxys-S using Taunt, Amnesia, and Recover and Type: Null using Confide and Rest to slowly PP stall it.
* Be sure to be careful around Taunt users that Porygon2 cannot hit quickly KO, like Guardian of Alola Tapu Fini, Mega Tyranitar, or Kee Berry Mew as this will cut off Porygon2's Recover and will be unable to take care of these.
* Do not send it out against Fighting-types like Mega Lopunny, Terrakion, Kommo-o, and Pheromosa as their Fighting STAB attacks will make them knock out Porygon2 before it can take care of them.

* Electric-types like Zeraora and Magnezone is a good partner as well for being able to take on Taunt users like Tapu Fini. the correlation between Electric types countering Taunt isn't exactly clear. maybe instead say hard hitting Pokemon or w/ever Zeraora can also take care of non-Ground-type Sturdy Pokemon like Magnezone, while Magnezone with Metal Sound can take care of walls like Chansey and Mega Venusaur. * Trace can be used to copy abilities like Multiscale from Dragonite, don't need trace to win Volt Absorb from Zeraora, Infiltrator from Jumpluff can recover stall and Intimidate from Pokemon like Mega Gyarados don't need trace to win; however, it is useless in most matchups, if its useless, then it wouldn't be an OO. The only mu u need trace for is Zeraora and Incineroar. and overall Analytic is the better ability because of it adding additional power to its moves.

* Psywave can be used over a move to hit Special Defense boosting Pokemon like Tapu Fini, Clefable, Audino, and Ferrothorn better; however, it is useless out of this.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Fighting-types**: Fighting-types like Sawk, Terrakion, Kommo-o, Mega Medicham, and Mega Lopunny give Porygon2 trouble as all of these outpace and can either OHKO it from full or 2KO it. Furthermore, Pokemon with Fighting-type coverage like Special Hoopa-U and Bulk Up Zeraora can 2KO it.

**Steel-types**: Troubling Steel-types like Magearna, Mega Lucario, better in fighting types Magnezone, Genesect, Taunt Heatran, Ferrothorn, Kartana, and Celesteela tbolt should win, with recover give Porygon2 trouble as they all either hit too hard, setup to OHKO, use Taunt, or stall out.

**Wallbreakers**: Powerful physical and special attack users like Terrakion fighting type, Mega Gardevoir, and Pheromosa fighting type threaten Porygon2 with their powerful attacks that either OHKO or 2KO it from full. Z move users like Magearna just mentioned and offensive Tapu Lele can also set up and OHKO Porygon2 before it has a chance to take care of them.

**Bulky Pokemon**: Pokemon like Mega Venusaur, and Mega Sabalye give Porygon2 trouble as Mega Vensaur can soak up both Thunderbolt and Ice Beam and immune to Toxic while Mega Sablye cannot be Toxic because of its ability Magic Bounce and can take Porygon2's attacks.

**Taunt**: Taunt users like Tapu Fini, Deoxys-S and Mew easily shut down Porygon2's recovery which makes it unable to recover damage off from Tapuium Z or to Toxic Deoxys-S or Mew to slowly stall it out of HP.

Bolded is additions, strikethrough is stuff that should be removed, underline needs to be edited in some way, red is comments. All information I bring are based on 1630 Usage stats (considering anything at or above 6% as of May 2019 usage relevant) and Calcs.

[OVERVIEW]

* Porygon2 has great bulk that is further boosted by Eviolite which allows it to withstand attacks from Mega Metagross, Garchomp, and Landorus-T.
* It has an awesome movepool and a great ability in Analytic that makes it able to power up its attack as long as is outpaced by the opponent to enable it to take care of Dragon-types like non-Choice Band Haxorus and 2KO Celesteela you can beat celesteela but you don't 2hko it
* However, Porygon2 has a hard time dealing with Pokemon like Terrakion and Mega Lopunny because of either their massive attack stat or their super-effective attacks that can take down Porygon2 but the reason both of these mons win is because they have super effective attacks. change one of them. It also has a hard time against strong setup special attackers like Mega Gardevoir and Magearna as they are able to tank Porygon2's attacks and able to OHKO it after using Calm Mind and then attack with their STAB moves.
* Furthermore, Porygon2 suffers against Taunt users like Tapu Fini, Mew, and Deoxys-S, as it cuts off its recovery and can be knocked out or slowly stalled out.
* Porygon2 also has trouble with bulky Pokemon like Mega Venusaur and Mega Sableye because of their immunity to Toxic and ability to out stall Porygon2.

Moves
========

* Recover helps Porygon2 to keep healthy against Pokemon like mixed Zeraora, Mega Gyarados, Naganadel, and Togekiss.
* Thunderbolt is good to use against Water-types like Mega Gyarados and Greninja wouldn't use this mon as an example, bc protean.
* Ice Beam allows Porygon2 to take care of Ground-and Dragon-types like Landorus-T, Dragonite, and Zygarde.
* Foul Play is a great way to deal with Pokemon with high Attack stats like Mega Metagross and Jirachi along with set-up sweepers like Mega Charizard X and Mega Pinsir with Stone Edge odds most of the time stone edge odds means nothing to ppl without context. (yes i know i suggested that wording but i was tired xd)
* Toxic can be used over Foul Play to deal with bulky Pokemon like non-Rest Mega Slowbro, Z-Thunder Wave Togekiss, and Kyurem.

Set Details
========

* Having 252 HP, a Bold nature along with 168 EVs in Defense helps take Z moves from the combination of Dragonite's Z-Outrage and Outrage and physical attacks from the likes of Mega Metagoss and Victini. Garchomp, and mixed Zeraora. mention that Bold is run instead of Relaxed in order to still outspeed Encore Primarina and Taunt Mega Mawile
* 88 SpD EVs allows Porygon2 to not get 2KOed by Naganadel's Sludge Wave and Z-Draco Meteor into Draco Meteor from Dragonite. It also allows Porygon2 to take Special Attacks from the likes of Greninja. redundant
* Its ability, Analytic goes great with its slow Speed stat in order to get a boost for its attacks from moving after the other Pokemon most of the time to make Ice Beam, and Thunderbolt hit Pokemon like Landorus-T, Porygon-Z, and Celesteela harder.

Usage Tips
========

* Send Porygon2 out against physical attackers like Mega Metagross, Mega Pinsir, and Jirachi as Foul Play will 3KO bulky Mega Metagross and 2KO Mega Pinsir, and Porygon 2 lives all of their attacks. redundant
* Do use it against common Dragon- or Flying-types like Dragonite, Garchomp and Landorus-T as Ice Beam will OHKO these.
* Send it out against special attackers like Togekiss, Naganadel, and Rotom-H as with Recover and using either Ice Beam or Tri Attack not included anymore, Porygon2 can win against these.
* Do send it out against common Choice Scarfers like Haxorus and non-Trick Porygon-Z as Porygon2 can tank their attacks and finish them with using Ice Beam.
* Do send it out against Water-types like Carracosta as Thunderbolt well 2KO these. If running Toxic, Porygon2 can also take care of non-Rest Mega Slowbro.
* Be sure to be careful around vague. Do you ever send them out against those mons, or should you always avoid them. bulky physical set up Dark-types like Mega Tyranitar and Incineroar as Foul Play will be resisted and can use Taunt and Bulk Up respectfully to take care of Porygon2.
* Be careful around vague. Do you ever send them out against those mons, or should you always avoid them. walls like Ferrothorn and Chansey as Ferrothorn being too difficult to knock out due to Leech Seed and Ferrothorn's Toxic Immunity and Chansey wins by using its own Toxic and dealing more damage with Seismic Toss than Porygon2 can.
* Do not send it out against Deoxys-S or Type: Null as with Deoxys-S using Taunt, Amnesia and Recover and Type: Null using Confide and Rest to slowly PP stall it. move deo s down to the taunt mons, and type null up to the walls.
* Be sure to be careful around vague. Do you ever send them out against those mons, or should you always avoid them. Taunt users that Porygon2 cannot hit quickly KO, like Guardian of Alola Tapu Fini, Mega Tyranitar, or Kee Berry Mew as this will cut off Porygon2's Recover and will be unable to take care of these.
* Do not send it out against Fighting-types like Mega Lopunny, Terrakion, Kommo-o, and Pheromosa as their Fighting STAB attacks will make them knock out Porygon2 before it can take care of them.
* Be careful around Calm Mind users like Tapu Lele and Waterium Tapu Fini as this will make Porygon2's attacks unable to finish them off.

Team Options
========

* Fairy-types like Tapu Fini and Tapu Lele make great partners for Porygon2 as they are able to take on Fighting-types like Mega Lopunny and Kommo-o as well as pressure the opponent to not pick these. In return, Porygon2 can take on Steel-types like Jirachi and Mega Metagross for them.
* Dragon-types like Haxorus, Garchomp, Mega Charizard X help with walls like Ferrothorn and Meloetta most of those examples do not beat meloetta, and only one variant of char x beats melo as they can set up or use their STAB attacks to take care of these. In return Porygon2 can take on Landorus-T, Zygarde and Mega Gyrarados for them.
* Fire-types like both Mega Charizards Y and Heatran make good partners for Porygon2 as they help with troubling Steel-types like Magearna and Genesect. In return, Porygon2 can take on Landorus-T and mixed Zeraora.
* Mega Sableye is a good partner for Porygon2 as it also helps with walls, Fighting-types par bar Kommo-o,and Deoxys-S with being able to use Prankster Taunt. In return, Porygon2 can help with Mega Charizard X and Dragonite for it.
* Electric-types like Zeraora and Magnezone is a good partner as well for being able to hit Taunt users like Tapu Fini with their Powerful attacks. Zeraora can also take care of non-Ground-type Sturdy Pokemon like Magnezone while Magnezone with Metal Sound can take care of walls like Chansey and Mega Venusaur. *A moveset of Curse, Conversion, Recover and Return Porygon2 can be used in order to have a better chance against physical Pokemon like Incineroar, as well as being able to convert into a Ghost-type to deliver the Ghost-type version of Curse after Porygon 2 has set up with the regular version of Curse. Porygon2's has great Eviolite-boosted bulk that is further boosted by Eviolite, (AC) that which allows it to withstand attacks from Pokemon like Mega Metagross, Garchomp, and Landorus-T. Porygon2 It also has a good movepool and a great ability in Analytic that makes it able to powers up its attacks as long as is outpaced by the opponent's Pokemon. (Keep period) With This allows it to take care of faster Dragon- (AH) and Steel-types like non-Choice Band Haxorus and Celesteela. However, Porygon2 has a hard time dealing with can be taken down by Pokemon like Sawk and Mega Lopunny because of their massive attack stat or their super-effective Attack and super effective attacks that can take down Porygon2. (I reworded this sentence to help with flow) It also has a hard time against strong setup special attackers like Mega Gardevoir and Magearna, (AC) as they are able to tank Porygon2's attacks and able to OHKO Porygon2 it with their STAB moves after using Calm Mind boosting (less specific) and then attack with their STAB moves. (Keep period) Furthermore, it Porygon2 suffers against Taunt users like Tapu Fini, Mew, and Deoxys-S, as it cuts they cut off its recovery and can be knocked out or slowly stalled out making it easier to knock out or outlast. Porygon2 also has trouble with bulky Pokemon like Mega Venusaur and Mega Sableye because of their immunity to Toxic and ability to out stall outlast (outstall) it.

Hidden Power Fire can be used to help beat Steel-types like Ferrothorn, but it Porygon2 would have to give up either its BoltBeam coverage or Toxic. A moveset consisting of Curse, Conversion, Recover, (AC) and Return Porygon2 can be used in order for Porygon2 to have a better chance against physical Pokemon like Incineroar, as well as being able to convert into a Ghost-type to deliver the Ghost-type version of Curse after Porygon(RS)2 has set up with the regular version of Curse. Psywave can be used over a move to hit Special Defense-boosting (AH) Pokemon like Tapu Fini, Clefable, Audino, and Ferrothorn better. Charge Beam can be used over Thunderbolt to enable Porygon2 to take on Pokemon Amnesia users like use amenisa like Mega Slowbro; (SC) however, Porygon2 will be unable to take on other Water-types like Mega Gyarados.

**Fighting-types**: Fighting-types like Sawk, Terrakion, Kommo-o, Mega Medicham, Mega Lucario, and Mega Lopunny give Porygon2 trouble, (AC) as all of these Pokemon outpace it and can either OHKO it from full (redundant; it's 1v1, so there will be no indirect damage when the matchup happens) or 2HKO it. Furthermore, Pokemon with Fighting-type coverage moves like Hoopa-U and Bulk up Up + Close Combat Zeraora can also 2HKO it. (Both of these Pokemon types can 2HKO it, so phrasing it this way makes it flow a little better.)

**Wallbreakers**: Powerful special attackers like Mega Gardevoir can either OHKO or 2HKO Porygon2 from full. (Again, it does not seem like there should be indirect damage) Moreover, Z-Move users like Meloetta and offensive Tapu Lele can also (This is the reverse of the change I made under Fighting-types. You didn't mention setup in the previous sentence, and you introduced a new category of Pokemon, so "also" isn't really referring to anything.) set up and OHKO Porygon2 before it has a chance to take care of them.

**Taunt Users**: Taunt users like Tapu Fini, Deoxys-S, and Mew easily shut down Porygon2's recovery, which makes it can make Porygon2 unable to recover damage off from Tapu Fini's Guardian of Alola from the former and or Toxic Deoxys-S or Mew to from the latter two, slowly stall stalling it out of HP.

Fire-types like Mega Charizard X (You said it already; try something else), Mega Charizard Y, and Heatran make for good partners for Porygon2, as they help with troubling Steel-types like Magearna and Genesect. In return, Porygon2 can take on Landorus-T and mixed Zeraora. Mega Sableye is a good partner for Porygon2, as it can shut down walls with Prankster Taunt and takes take (parallelism given the verb you use next) on Fighting-types bar Kommo-o, as well as Deoxys-S. In return, Deoxys-S, while (repetition) Porygon2 can help with Mega Charizard X and Dragonite. Electric-types like Zeraora and Magnezone are also good partners for Porygon2 being (repetition) able to hit Taunt users like Tapu Fini with their powerful attacks.

Other Options
=============

Trace can be used to copy abilities like Volt Absorb from Zeraora, Flash Fire from Heatran, and Intimidate from Pokemon like Incineroar; however, Analytic is the better ability because of its Analytic's power boost is generally more useful. (A somewhat stronger explanation) Hidden Power Fire can be used to help beat Steel-types like Ferrothorn, but Porygon2 would will (parallelism) have to give up either its BoltBeam coverage or Toxic. A moveset consisting of Curse, / (change to slashes) Conversion, / Recover, and / Return can be used in order for Porygon2 to have a better chance against physical Pokemon attackers like Incineroar, as well as being able to convert into a Ghost-type to deliver the Ghost-type version of Curse after Porygon2 has set up with the regular version of Curse. Psywave can be used to hit Special Defense-boosting Pokemon like Tapu Fini, Clefable, Audino, and Ferrothorn better harder (word choice). Charge Beam can be used over Thunderbolt to enable Porygon2 to take on Amnesia users like Mega Slowbro,; (change to semi) however, Porygon2 will be unable to take on other Water-types like Mega Gyarados.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Steel-types**: Troubling Steel-types like Magearna, Magnezone, Genesect, Taunt Heatran, Ferrothorn, and Kartana give Porygon2 trouble, as they all either hit it too hard, set(space)up and OHKO it, shut it down with Taunt, or stall it out.

**Bulky Pokemon**: Pokemon like Mega Venusaur and Mega Sableye give Porygon2 trouble, as Mega Venusaur can soak up both Thunderbolt and Ice Beam and is immune to Toxic while Mega Sableye cannot be hit by Toxic because of its ability Magic Bounce and they can take Porygon2's attacks and are immune to Toxic. (Much less wordy. Still, what about Pokemon that aren't immune to Toxic?)
