Did not get the DLC - I was given the standard edition for xmas. I think they are the same price now so I would go ahead and get the DLC. From what I have seen/read the DLC does not substantially add to the story so it seems doubtful that I'll get it myself but I probably would've just gotten the DLC version if I had the choice now.
