LC Oshawott

[OVERVIEW]
As a pure Water-type in LC, Oshawott is outclassed in all aspects. Staryu is a better special attacker due to it being faster and having more coverage, and Corphish is a better physical attacker because it has Adaptability. Defensively, Oshawott is unable to compete against the likes of Frillish and Mareanie due to their reliable recovery and secondary typings, which gives them more resistances. These Pokemon leave little room for Oshawott to carve a niche in the Little Cup Metagame.

[SET]
name: Swords Dance
move 1: Swords Dance
move 2: Sacred Sword / Aerial Ace
move 3: Aqua Jet
move 4: Aqua Tail
item: Life Orb
ability: Torrent
nature: Adamant / Jolly
evs: 236 Atk / 236 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
This set attempts to boost Oshawott’s Attack stat utilizing its priority option in Aqua Jet in an attempt to clean. However, it is weak without a boost and can be worn down easily, since it needs Life Orb for power. Oshawott is outclassed by Shelder as a setup sweeper due to its inability to boost its Speed and the fact that it has more difficulty in breaking teams.

This is impressively well done overall. A few notes.

[OVERVIEW]
  • Briefly mention why Staryu and Corphish outclass it (faster+more coverage and adaptability, respectively)
[SET]
  • Given how slow Oshawott is, it relies on Ajet too much to have anything slashed after it. I don't mind having Aerial Ace slashed in the second moveslot, but I don't think its a particularly useful move. I'll leave that decision up to you.

Implemented. Thank you for the check, I appreciate it

General thing, move the [XXXXX] tags down so there's not a line between them and the content.

[OVERVIEW]
The Staryu bit in the first sentence was confusing because of the dangling "due to", should be removed.

[SET]
Good, but would suggest slashing Aerial Ace after Sacred Sword so that you have a secondary option to hit Foongus.

[SET COMMENTS]
Wouldn't really call it in an attempt to sweep so much as attempt to clean.

You'll want to capitalize your name, Nineage's name is missing his e

Remove Add Comments (AC)= add comma (RC)= remove comma (AH)= add hyphen (RH)= remove hyphen
[OVERVIEW]
As a pure Water-(AH)type in Little Cup LC, Oshawott is outclassed on both sides of the offensive spectrum in all aspects ("spectrum" is a banned phrase when talking about stats like this); As a special attacker by Staryu is a better special attacker due to it being faster and having more coverage, and as a physical attacker by Corphish is a better physical attacker due to the former being faster and having more coverage, and the latter having because it has Adaptability. Defensively, it Oshawott is unable to compete against the likes of Frillish and Mareanie,(RC) due to their reliable recovery and secondary typings, which gives them more resistances. These Pokemon leave it little room to attempt for Oshawott to carve a niche in the Little Cup LC metagame.
