Pet Mod Fossil Mashup - Exclusive Moves! (Submission Phase)

Cookie Butter

formerly the someone

Move Name: Lily Leech
Giver: Cradily
Move Replaced: Sludge Wave
Category:

Type:

BP: 85
Accuracy: 100%
Max PP: 16
Effects: Leaves Leech Seed on its target.
Attributes: Contact
Reasoning: It's a Sappy Seed clone but slightly weaker.
Sludge Wave is replaced because, assuming Cradily ever wants to run a Poison-type move, it has Sludge Bomb from its TM/TR list (which is probably better for it because of higher % of poisoning).

Move Name: Shield Bash
Giver:Bastiodon
Move Replaced:Metal Sound
Type:

Category:

BP:85
Accuracy:100
Max PP: 16
Effects: Damage is calculated by the defense stat.
Attributes: It makes contact
Reasoning: Alright so this is just a steel type Body Press, which currently Bastiodon doesn't have access to. I figured shield bash would be fitting given that it the head that would give it this move. Bastiodon has a shit attack stat and so I figured, hey let me give it a damaging move it can actually use effectively. As for why I'm throwing out metal sound, ask yourself this, "When was the last time you used metal sound?"

Rock polish is not going to help this thing at all.
love your sub, but Rock Polish is a default move, so it cannot be replaced. To choose a move to replace you should look here, under Bastiodon's section, in the "Head Moves:" part. I'll make that clear in the Slate opening post.

Yung Dramps

Gotcha and I'm glad you like it. I swapped Rock Polish with Metal Sound.

:aurorus:
Move Name: Intense Freeze
Giver: Aurorus
Replaces: Haze
Type: Ice
Category
: Special
Power: 85
Accuracy: 100%
PP: 15
Effect: Hits Steel-Types super-effectively.
Reasons: I feel like that because of the lack of STAB on moves that hit Steel super-effectively that this is necesary.

Move Name: Grassid Maw
Giver: Cradily
Move Replaced: Pain Split
Type:

Category:

BP: 80
Accuracy: 100
Max PP: 16
Effects: Deals super effective damage to Steel types.
Attributes: Contact, biting
Reasoning: Steel types are the bane of Grass Pokemon, and this move allows Cradily head fusions to break through them more easily.

Move Name: Bastion
Giver: Bastiodon
Move Replaced: Endure
Type:

Category:

BP: --
Accuracy: --
Max PP: 16
Effects: Heals user 50% of its max HP and raises Def by 1 stage
Attributes: Recovery move
Reasoning: Bastiodon fusions appreciate recovery to augment their bulk.

Move Name: Aura Aurora
Giver: Aurorus
Move Replaced: Barrier
Type:

Category:

BP: 90
Accuracy: 100
Max PP: 16
Effects: Heals user 50% of damage taken by opponent
Attributes: Recovery move
Reasoning: Aurorus head fusions lack a strong spammable Ice STAB, and Aurorus itself lacks any reliable recovery to pass to its fusions, so this move fills in for both of these.

Voting Phase starts now!
You may express your first, second and third preferences for each of the fossils in this slate.
Just remember, first gets 3 votes and cannot be a self vote, second gets 2 votes and third gets 1.

Here are the options:

Move Name: Northern Lights
Giver: Aurorus
Move Replaced: Avalanche
Type:

Category:

BP: --
Accuracy: --
Max PP: 16
Effects: Sets up Hail and Reflect for 5 turns; both effects last 8 turns if the user is holding Icy Rock or Light Clay; if Hail condition summoned by Hail or Snow Warning or Reflect are already active, turn count will restart; Hail will fail if used.
Attributes: Fails under Air Lock, Primordial Sea, Desolate Land and Delta Stream, both effects are ignored by Cloud Nine and interrupted by Screen Cleaner, Brick Break and Psychic Fangs, Lycanrock's Z-Move and weather moves and abilities; doesn't stack with Reflect; Aurora Veil can be used, but it only adds Light Screen effect if both are active, turns are counted separately though.
Reasoning: Aurorus passes Snow Warning only with its Tail part, so it needs a way to set it up easily while using also a handy effect, considering that it gives only 2 points of stat bonus in Defense. And yes, teorically you can make Hail last forever, so let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

Move Name: Algae Bite
Giver: Cradily
Move Replaced: Sludge Wave
Type:

Category:

BP: 75
Accuracy: 95%
Max PP: 24
Effects: While user is on the field, target cannot switch out; inflicts 2x damage under Rain or Heavy Rain.
Attributes: Biting move, boosted by Strong Jaw; Ghost-types are immune to the secondary effect, but they take damage anyway; effect is removed by Rapid Spin.
Reasoning: Cradily mashups need a strong attacking moves, as all the defensive mashups will almost certainly use it as a tail part and it already provides all the support moves it needs. The effect will also let it inflict all the passive damage it needs, stalling out the opponents.

Or did you mean voting?
Yes, I meant voting, and that never was a format for subs lol
You're not supposed to send fusions, they all exist and, given the base fossils, are generated automatically. Now we are submitting and voting for exclusive moves to be given by the head fossil.

Second Slate:

- The Predators -
This slate we'll submit moves for the most aggressive ones among the fossil Pokémon.
There is no limit in power, category or accuracy, as long as they're balanced and don't create scary combos (think of Steel/Flying, Dragon/Water and Dragon/Steel).
Aerodactyl's Head Moves: Crunch, Defog, Roost, Tailwind, Whirlwind, Wing Attack
Archeops's Head Moves: Defog, Head Smash, Knock Off, Pluck, Roost, Zen Headbutt
Tyrantrum's Head Moves: Head Smash, Draco Meteor, Crunch, Poison Fang, Charm, Roar
Feel free to submit! :D

EDIT: my subs
Move Name: Feathered Run-Up
Giver: Archeops
Move Replaced: Zen Headbutt
Type:

Category:

BP: 70
Accuracy: 100%
Max PP: 8
Effects: This move has +1 priority; fails if opponent has chosen a Physical move.
Attributes: Makes contact.
Reasoning: Well, even if it is a fast Pokémon, it doesn't give much points in Speed, so I gave it conditional priority, just like Sucker Punch.

Yung Dramps

awesome gaming

Move Name: Rexing Ball
Giver: Tyrantrum
Move Replaced: Charm
Type:

Category:

BP: 90
Accuracy: 100%
Max PP: 16
Effects: Lowers foe's defense by 1 stage. If they resist this move, -2 defense instead.
Attributes: Makes contact
Reasoning: Another anti-Steel tech in a meta that definitely needs more.

Move Name: Aerostrike
Giver: Aerodactyl
Move Replaced: Wing Attack
Type:

Category:

BP: 80
Accuracy: 100%
Max PP: 16
Effects: Switches user out after being used.
Attributes: Makes contact
Reasoning: Pivoting is cool.

Move Name: Regal Rend
Giver: Tyrantrum
Move Replaced: Charm
Type:

Category:

BP: 85
Accuracy: 100%
Max PP: 16
Effects: If the user moves first it doubles in power.
Attributes: Makes contact, Biting Move
Reasoning: I wanna see the world burn.

Move Name: Pterrible Pturbulence
Giver: Aerodactyl
Move Replaced: Wing Attack
Type:

Category:

BP: 80
Accuracy: 100%
Max PP: 24
Effects: Has a 50% chance to summon a tailwind
Attributes: Makes contact
Reasoning: I thought it'd be interesting to just summon a tailwind after hitting an opponent.

Move Name: Archaic Air Strike
Giver:Archeops
Move Replaced: Pluck
Type:

Category:

BP:90
Accuracy:100%
Max PP:24
Effects:Has a 10% chance to lower the opponent's speed
Attributes: Contact
Reasoning: Recoil damage and defeatist do not go well together even with roost. This is an alternative option to brave bird to avoid entering into the defeatist zone.

Move Name: Pterachomp
Giver: Aerodactyl
Move Replaced: Crunch
Attributes: Dark | Physical | 130 BP | 90% Acc | 10 PP | The user suffers 50% of the damage dealt as recoil.
Reasoning: A way to abuse Rock Head in a way that gives Aero a third STAB of sorts.

Move Name: Tyrannical Tear
Giver: Tyrantrum
Move Replaced: Charm
Attributes: Dragon | Physical | 65 BP | 100% Acc | 10 PP | This move's base power doubles if the user moves first or the opponent switches out. Boosted by Strong Jaw.
Reasoning: A worse Fishious Rend, that's still very good. Encourages faster body donors compared to the obvious Rampardos or whatever.

Move Name: Archaic Anger
Giver: Archeops
Move Replaced: Pluck
Attributes: Flying | Status |10 PP | Boosts the user's Attack, Special Attack, and Speed by 1 stage. Damages the user by 10% of their max HP.
Reasoning: Good set-up move.

Move Name: Gargantufang
Giver: Tyrantrum
Move Replaced: Charm
Type:

Category:

BP: 85
Accuracy: 100
Max PP: 16
Effects: 30% flinch chance
Attributes: Biting move, makes contact
Reasoning: Takes advantage of Strong Jaw and STAB to become scary powerful.
