Synchronize doesn't work for Cresselia, Spiritomb and Mesprit.

But using a fainted Syncher works for other pokémon.

For the 3rd time lol:
People have said it is possible to get 'em from the Bonus Disk...

But it's never been proven...

And, myself, being a bonus disk owner, HIGHLY doubt it because you see a jirachi on the tv, then it goes into your game (on the tv) and you get it on your game.

Yoko, you'll get answered eventually if you WAIT.

Sorry for posting it 4 times, its just that when the page changes, people tend to forget about the previous page lol. Also, when a question is skipped, people assume its been answered =D

So the only Jirachi that can possibly be Shiny is a Colosseum one? I'm thinking about making a "Great IV'd Shiny Jirachi race" lol, since I need a Jirachi for my thread.

Nah, dude, I don't think its possible to have a legit shiny jirachi.

In gamefaqs I saw a couple shiny jirachis, most looked hacked easily....

Others probably were made shiny with AR/Pokesav.

Don't do a Shiny Jirachi race, I think you can only use AR/Pokesav to get one.

20 Pokemon?!?! 0_o

Nah dude, I'll offer a good prize though. Like hopefully when I get a perfect Gyrados [wish me luck]. Or even a SHINY perfect Gyrados [anybody can dream]. That, and then maybe half a dozen monsters.

Hey guys, I'm planning on starting a new project soon which I also plan on playing through LeafGreen with. Can anyone recommend any good Kanto Pokemon to breed that haven't already been overdone/done well on the trading boards, and would benefit form Emerald move tutors?

But, really, you need to SR from the bonus disk, it takes like 10minutes for each...
It'd take much longer for PAL players, Channel forces you to have finished the game (RS, not Channel, though you have to finish that too) before it'll let you get Jirachi.

I have a question regarding physical infernapes moveset. ON the analysis it says

~ Swords Dance
~ Flare Blitz
~ Close Combat
~ ThunderPunch / Stone Edge

y isnt shadow claw on there??

Shadow claw takes care of threats like starmie, gengar, gallade, zam etc, is it just me or am i missing something
Interesting... but I think the reason was mainly to take down Bulky Waters / Salamence better, thought I see that Shadow Claw WOULD give you the Fighting / Ghost combo, which is resisted by none.

It's probably not there because it's not that important 3 of those 4 pokemon that you mentioned outspeed infernapeand have enough power to go for a ohko. TPunch is much more important as it covers almost all bulky waters not named Swampert/Gastrodon.

i was thinking the same thing, but thats why nintendo gave us focus sashes and choice scarfs

Swords Dance, Flare Blitz, and Close Combat are obviously required, so that leaves Thunderpunch / Stone Edge.

Thunderpunch slaps around Starmie, and STAB Close Combat / Flare Blitz have higher base power then super effective Shadow Claw. Also Thunderpunch / Stone Edge hit Gyarados, who is normally a good Infernape counter.

MY QUESTION!

What is the most effective way to get BP in Emerald?

Imo, Stone edge is a better option than Tpunch. Reason being, Close combat does more damage to regular water types than Tpunch does, as 180 base power > 150. Stone edge covers Gyarados, so yeah.

Use the gambler (Who is on the far right of the BF), place a bet and complete whichever event he says, then loose to that event (after collecting the BP off him) This way you'll always play each event on the easiest level.

But Thunderpunch hits Tentacruel, one of Infernapes most common counters. Not to mention rapes Gyarados.

Although Salamence is happy to come in on Stone Edge-less Infenape.

SD Infernape is hard to set up, and Thunderpunch only makes things worse. With thunderpunch, Infernape is walled completely by Dragons, which are more common than Tentacruel in general. As for Gyara, he either comes in on Infernape, in which case even +1 Attack Stone Edge will KO with the proper EV's, or Infernape is coming in on Gyara, in which case it will die anyway. SD Infernape relies too greatly on STAB and type coverage to worry about moves like Shadow Claw, cool as they are. Tentacruel is really the only water type (and OU Pokemon) that you can really make that argument for. Starmie will always outspeed the ape, making it impossible to counter regardless, Slowbro is too bulky to die to only one non STAB'd hit, and just about every other water type takes more damage from CC.
